Raymond Lam Shoves Myolie Wu Out of His Car
Myolie Wu and Raymond Lam were filming for "The Drive of Life" yesterday. In the series, Raymond was dumped by Charmaine Sheh and he resorts to drinking to temper his sadness. Myolie advised him to turn over a new leaf. However, the drunk Raymond shoves Myolie out of his car instead!

Myolie commented, "The scene required me to fall on my hands and knees and then roll over on the ground. But Raymond was quite considerate, as he only shoved me lightly. He was afraid that I would get hurt."

Raymond said, "I only shoved Myolie lightly. But Myolie was not used to the car, the vehicle slid backwards. The situation was a bit dangerous. Luckily we were able to control the situation and successfully complete filming."

Raymond plays a rich guy in the "The Drive of Life" and reporters teased that he is playing himself in the series. Raymond indicated that his character is very extreme in the early part of the series and found the role difficult to portray as his real-life personality is quite stable.

Since there were other moving vehicles nearby during the filming of the scene, the situation was quite dangerous. She was scared since she was not accustomed to filming action sequences. Although Myolie wore knee pads for the scene, her hands were unprotected and became red and swollen after several takes.

Myolie revealed that her character is hurt frequently and deeply by Raymond. Luckily she finds true love in the end, as she will pair up with a mainland actor.

Myolie Wu Models for Modern Classic Bridal Show
Myolie Wu Hang Yee and Tracy Yip Chui Chui were guest models at Modern Classic's bridal fashion show. Since becoming the spokesmodel for Modern Classic wedding center, this is her first time appearing at the fashion show. Myolie noted, "At my elder sister's wedding earlier, I had an urge to get married too!"

Myolie noted that she still loves to work and will consider marriage a few years down the road. Myolie will definitely wear a traditional Chinese bridal gown (裙褂) at her wedding and may even design her own wedding dress!

Myolie Wu Supports Raymond Lam in Lateness Rumors
Raymond Lam Fung has been rumored to be frequently late during the filming of "The Drive of Life," inciting Jessica Hsuan to walk off set in anger. Since Myolie Wu Hang Yee has numerous scenes with Raymond in "The Drive of Life," she acknowledged that he has been a bit late, but does not believe that Jessica walked off the set.

"Since Jessica is so professional, I don't believe that she walked off the set. Although lateness is a problem, but everyone will have one or two incidences of lateness. 'The Drive of Life' is a 60 episode series and filming will take several months. Perhaps Raymond was late due to traffic issues."

So has Raymond been late for filming? Myolie said awkwardly, "According to my memories, he has been a bit late. But no one wants to be late. I also have the likelihood or running late too, so I do not have the courage to request that others can not be late. Of course punctuality is a good quality."

Myolie Wu Aims for 'Outstanding Youth Awards'
Myolie Wu and Wong He took part in a Towngas Chinese New Year Promotion, where they joined volunteers and elderly people in a mooli shredding competition and other games. To welcome the year of the Pig, Towngas have prepared 3000 gift packs for the elderly and needy families in the Tung Chung area.

Myolie indicates she loves doing voluntary work and although she is very busy with her filming, she will offer to do voluntary work whenever she has time, admitting that she is aiming for an 'Outstanding Youth' award. Asked when she would like to achieve this, she says: "I don't know! Hopefully soon!" She has been busy filming recently for the 60-episode series "The Drive of Life" and in response to the suggestions that Raymond Lam was late and this made Jessica Hsuan storm off the set, Myolie indicates that she does not know about this because she does not have many scenes with Jessica, but she is a very professional artiste and Myolie believes that she would not do this.

Myolie says: "With so many cast members in the series, then being late for one or two scenes is nothing unusual. (Raymond is often late?) He is a little late sometimes. Punctuality is a good thing, but everyone will be late. Sometimes I get stuck in traffic and as long as it does not affect other people, then this is not a problem. (Does it affect you?) I have time, so I don't mind."

Bosco and Myolie Play Flirty by Phone
Rumoured couple Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu joined together as they attended a promotional event yesterday for Sony Ericsson. The two held each others arms as they posed for photographs and then presented each other with a phone. They admit that they are happy working together and even if they are invited to do a wedding shoot together.

Also at the event with Bosco and Myolie were Amanda S and Karl Ng, who modelled on the catwalk. However, Bosco arrived half an hour late, delaying the start of the event. Maybe because of their 'good friend' status, Bosco and Myolie shared a good chemistry as they walked down the stage together and they struck many close poses such as arm in arm and with Myolie leaning on Bosco's shoulder. When the press commented that they looked very sweet, they seemed a little embarrassed, but still replied: "Thanks!"

Afterwards, Myolie was asked if this was the first time she had worked with Bosco as a couple and she quickly corrected: "Rumoured couple!" Asked if the fee was greater for this arrangement, she smiled: "It is worth it! It is more fun with the two of us, it gets boring when you are on your own." When the reporters mentioned about their chemistry, Myolie smiled that there is a little there and they had reached an agreement that they could not appear like strangers because they do know each other. Is she worried about more rumours after this event? Myolie says it is just work: "More would be better! (How about wedding salon shoots?) Yes, any ads will do! Linda Myolie and Balia at Macau New Year Promotion
Myolie Wu, Linda Chung and Balia Chan were guests at Macau's Star World Hotel for a Chinese New Year event. Wearing a fiery red dress, Linda also won the lucky draw at the event, pocketing a new year fortune of $40,000.

For Myolie, this was her first visit to a casino and she says that although she can play Mah Jong, she usually just plays online and has never gambled before. The sponsors have presented her with a VIP card, so she plans to come with her family on a vacation. Asked if she will come with rumoured boyfriend Bosco, she said a little embarrassed that she would not, because she was afraid of the paparazzi following them. Pointing out again that she has still not found a partner, she says she has no plans for Valentines day yet and is waiting for some gifts. Oh yea, myo said that she has never been into a casino, she such a goody girl, that's why I like her. Myolie and Bosco Condemn Irresponsible Reports

Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong became the center of the press attention at the Tvb Press Department Spring Banquet earlier, but Myolie seemed rather reserved in a marked change from her earlier appearances. When the press asked for her to pose with Bosco, she immediately refused, saying: “He wants to be photographed with Ron Ng.” Then she made her excuses to move away. She could not run very far though, but poor Ron had to stand with them again in the photo. After the shoot, Myolie and Bosco went their separate ways.

A fortune teller in the magazine has predicted new year horoscopes for the year of the pig and Myolie has been given a terrible prediction that she would break down and commit suicide for love. In response for this, she says: “That is so reckless! No news reaches these limits. It is so unlucky for the new year! No matter what happens, life is the important thing and even if I have nothing to eat, I will never commit suicide, never mind a silly little thing like love! I will definitely bring that feng shui master down and ruin him. (They also report that Fala Chen has been flirting madly with Bosco?) They are writing rubbish, I don't know what they will write next!" As for Bosco, he smiles that the reports about Fala are just a laugh but he reacted quite strongly to the reports about Myolie, saying: "Writing such horrible things at the new year! I know that Myolie is an optimistic person and will never commit suicide."

Fala, who has also been rumoured to be coming between Bernice Liu and Moses Chan kept her distance from both sets of couples for the evening and opted to stick with Tavia Yeung to keep her company.

Myolie has also been doing voluntary work in her capacity of ambassador for a Social Aid charity and she has been to the Victoria Park Flower Market to encourage the public to donate to the cause by selling designer jumpers for just $50. However, when she approached people to ask them to donate, they were very rude and just photographed her without making a donation. She indicates that she does not have a date for Valentines Day and has not received any gifts or any SMS, never mind a date!

Happy New Year from TVB and Lucky Packets Galore!
Happy New Year! Now, where are my lucky packets? In the new year, whether you are giving or receiving Lucky Packets, it is a happy occasion and TVB held its New Year celebrations yesterday and Liza Wang handed out lucky packets and even promised to give them out to the audience. Charmaine Sheh and Myolie Wu handed out $20 packets to the crew, but among the most generous was Margie Tsang, whose packets contained $100 notes!

TVB had a celebratory show at TKO TVB City to welcome in the year of the Pig, attended by TVB boss Sir Run Run Shaw, who was in good spirits accompanied by Miss Hong Kong Aimee Chan and Miss Chinese International Sarah Song, and hosted by Liza and Margie and the two 'big sisters' went along with the tradition of handing out lucky packets and in this her first new year after her return to TVB, Margie was especially generous, handing out $100 notes in her envelopes to the cast and crew members. During the show Myolie became the brunt of many jokes and in the game show spoof of "Is Pig Right?", the host asked Margie if her boyfriend was 'Kenneth Pig' and Carlo Ng immediately replied: "Her boyfriend is Mr Ma. Myolie's boyfriend is Mr Wong." This left Margie a little lost for words, but afterwards she said she did not mind: "Maybe he thought I was a good sport. It is new year so it doesn't matter!"

The two leading ladies of last year Myolie and Charmaine showed their own 'big sister' status by handing out $20 packets and earning the respect of everyone. Myolie says that she likes to hear the greetings: "Gain Popularity and have Good Health!". Asked if she has bought any plum blossom this year, she smiled and did not reply. Charmaine handed out her packets to everyone and many people referred to her as 'Big sis Sheh'. She smiled: "It is quite good to see me handing out lucky packets. Usually it is me going out grabbing them at the new year! Once I managed to get 100 to 200 in one day!"

As for Carlo and Michael Tse who are married, they played the 'evasion' game and when people greeted Carlo, he said: "I don't know where I have put my lucky packets!" before speeding away.

Bosco Wong took part in an event on the eve of the new year and asked if he would be having a reunion dinner with Myolie, he smiled: "She is not part of my family! (How about visiting?) I will not go with her, she does not have lucky packets to give. Maybe I will go and visit Michael (Miu) instead." Although not yet worried, Bosco still handed out lucky packets to his fans just to make everyone happy!

Myolie swiftly chops New Year's carrot cakes; she has impressive cooking skills

Myolie gained 40 lbs in order to film a series last year, and within the time frame of 6 months, she has already returned to her slim figure. Because her weight has already stabilized, Myolie has an excuse to pig out during the New Year's.

Even a few years back, Myolie had already had the dream of being able to cook her very own carrot cake. Today, her wish was fulfilled, as she joined a Chinese restaurant cook at ChimSaCheu to learn some cooking skills. By the time Myolie reached the restaurant, all the ingredients were gathered together for her already - carrots, the meat, flour etc. What nobody would have anticipated was Myolie grabbing the knife and peeling the big white carrots with such speed, it seemed as if she was a professional carrot peeler! Having worked in the walls of the kitchen for over 30 years, and earning the title of being the experienced chef in the restaurant, he couldn't help but admit Myolie's performance with the carrots was simply amazing. He commented, "She's actually very talented, I'm really impressed, she was just so perfect when doing everything, it wasn't what I expected at all. She's also very clever, and a fast learner, things only have to be said once for her to be able to do it right."

Definite Award in the Year of the Pig

Myolie was grinning from eye to eye after Mr Choi's (the chef) compliment, she said, "He's just saving me some face...besides, I personally do enjoy cooking very much, whenever my mom made carrot cakes, I would assist her in doing all the peeling of the carrots."

Besides being high praised by Mr. Choi, fortune teller, Tin Ming Yeung also told Myolie that it's very probable for Myolie to receive an award this year. Myolie explained, "Well I saw him at a public function the other day and he told me that I would certainly be bringing an award home this year. Well, it's happy to hear that, but I wouldn't put so much hope into it, the higher my hope climbs, the more it will hurt when my hope shatters. He also said I wasn't confident enough last year, and since I've gained some more confidence this year, I'll be able to get on that stage to receive that award. What I need to do right now is to do my best, I shouldn't put too much faith into these predictions."

Yup she had lost weight after filming "To Grow With Love"

She went from 150 lbs. to 100 something.
But she is prettier and lovlier!

I think Myolie looks very radiant. This was taken place right after she filmed "To Grow with Love". She was doing a promotion. She got skinny fast. I wonder why, it is because she takes those diet pills or something? I prefer to lose weight naturally.




Woowww. I love the dress that Myolie is wearing, especially the tulle on the hem, but somehow it makes Myolie looked kinda chubby. But I still like it. This picture is kinda old, it was before the 39th TVB anniversary.

i've read the news.....it's funny how they work for the same company and fighting against each other......hilarious....people are just jealous of myolie......

yep, people ARE jealous of Myolie. She's beautiful, talented, and kinded. Who wouldn't? But I hope they could be a little nicer to her, since Myolie is nice and she doesn't do anything to hurt other people's feelings. I hope the future days will be better for Myolie.

can't wait to watch her new series, I wonder if she will be singing the theme song with Raymond. I want her to do a duet with Ray. I wonder how will they sound together.
