Myolie Wu Shows Her Support for Bosco Wong

Myolie Wu, who attended the ‘Drive of Life’ promotional event yesterday, was asked to comment on the issue of her rumoured boyfriend, Bosco Wong, buying an antique sports car. Regarding this, the actress expressed that she has not been on the car and when a reporter accused Bosco of losing his mind over play (玩物喪志), Myolie immediately supported Bosco by saying, “I do not know how much the car costs. But if the car is nice and is very hard to purchase, it does not seem that he is losing his mind over play.”

When Bosco’s new hairstyle was brought up, Myolie also backed him up, saying, “As a person reaches a certain age, they want to have a change of appearance. I have too! I think his current hairstyle is ok, he did it to film the series anyway. (Did he ask for your opinion before changing his hairstyle?) Nope!”

Charmaine and Myolie: Enemies into Friends
Charmaine Sheh and Myolie Wu were rumoured to have fallen out after last year's awards ceremony, but during the recent promotional activity for new series "The Drive of Life", they have been very supportive of each other. When the MC Joel Chan joked at an event yesterday about Myolie's rumours with 'Beijing Daniel Wu' Feng Shao Feng, Myolie immediately turned to Charmaine to help her out.

Myolie says: "I have a lot of chemistry with Charmaine too!" Charmaine quickly added that they have a lot of off-screen chemistry too and gently deflected the question.

Afterwards, Charmaine said: "I was just joking and I am not concerned about rumours of animosity. We have got to know each other after working together and 'chemistry' is all about beauty and not gossip." As for the premiere of "The Drive of Life" this evening, Charmaine says she is quite nervous and hopes that the ratings will continue to rise, but has no expectations for it to do as well as the earlier success "Heart of Greed". The most important thing is that the viewers will talk about it and make the series and its stars popular, so they all get a chance to make some additional money from it.

Myolie continued to deny her rumours with Feng: "Joel was just building up some atmosphere and we only have chemistry on the screen. The rumours are old news now." Myolie says she and Charmaine have a lot of arguing scenes in the show and they had rumours before about fighting over awards last year, but they have now got to know each other after working together.

Angela Tong also appeared at the event in a little sexy seethrough top and she smiled: "I have a tube top underneath. At first I did think about not wearing it, but I was afraid that the strong flash would make my top seethrough. I often see models who don't have a tube top underneath their tops."

Myolie Wu at "When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat" Costume Fitting
Myolie Wu's cat, "Bao Bao" was extremely cute!

TVB's new series, "When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat" held its costume fitting. Gallen Lo, Myolie Wu, Margie Tsang Wah Sin, Lui Fong etc. were present.

Myolie even brought her own cat, "Bao Bao" 「包包」to the event. Bao Bao was extremly fat and cute. Many artists wanted to take pictures with Bao Bao, thus making the other pet stars recede into the background.

Bao Bao is a British Shorthair cat and is 2 years old. Will Myolie allow Bao Bao to make a cameo appearance in the series? Myolie revealed that she owns 9 cats at home and any one of the cats can make a cameo in the series. "I want my cat to be a pet star too, then I can be 'Mama Star'!"

Originally, Myolie only had 3 cats. After owning Bao Bao, she thought he was very lonely and bought him a wife, "Ball Ball" 「波波」. Ball Ball had 5 kittens shortly afterwards. Some of the kittens died young, thus Myolie only has 9 cats at home now.

"When I was filming 'To Grow with Love,' Ball Ball gave birth. I drove her to the animal hospital to give birth. Since she appeared to be in such pain giving birth, I decided to have her spayed to prevent future pregnancies."

Myolie was extremely happy to collaborate with Gallen Lo again. Myolie will finish filming "War of In Laws 2007" before working on"When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat."

But her schedule will still be hectic and tiring. "If I lose weight then, please don't say I am starving myself!"

Bosco Wong will have to Ask to Benefit from Myolie Wu's Endorsement

Myolie Wu, as the spokesperson of an electronics company, attended a promotional event yesterday. The actress autographed 50 prizes and presented them to 50 lucky people from the audience, including to an elderly fan. When asked if her whole house was filled with sponsored electrical appliances, Myolie replied, “My family benefit from the endorsements, including my relatives. (Have you given some to Bosco Wong?) No, but he can ask!”

Myolie Wu & Bosco Wong Film Wedding Scene for "War of In-Laws 2007"

Myolie Wu Hang Yee and Bosco Wong Chung Chak filmed their wedding scene for "War of In-Laws 2007" at a beach yesterday. The bride wore a short-length wedding dress, while the groom wore shorts.

After Myolie and Bosco exchanged vows, the Director requested to add a kissing scene. The pair appeared to be highly comfortable with each other and completed the kissing scene in one take.

Reporters asked whether Myolie and Bosco's ideal wedding would take place at the beach as well? Both said they did not mind, as long as the wedding was not in the middle of the summer heat.

Reporters asked Bosco whether he often filmed kissing scenes with Myolie, thus allowing them to complete the wedding kiss scene in one take? Bosco said, "No. Since there were so many people filming with us, I did not feel embarrassed."

Does Bosco intend to hold his future wedding at a beach? "As long as the wedding is not held in the summer. I am afraid of hot weather! You can easily melt under the heat. I would prefer to hold the post wedding party at the beach at night, when the temperatures would be cooler. Otherwise, I would rather not get married in the hot weather!"

Myolie also said that she was not embarrassed during the kissing scene, since it was just a light peck on the lips. "We did not kiss passionately. In the series, Bosco and I kiss 2-3 times."

Will Myolie hold her future wedding at a beach? Surprisingly, her reply was the same as Bosco's answer. "It's fine to hold a wedding at the beach in the fall, when temperatures are cooler. Summer is not good, as the heat would melt the make-up."

Reporters teased Myolie and Bosco's reponses being the same and that their "wedding plan" was settled. Myolie explained, "We did not discuss our answers in advance! Bosco's answer was the same as mine?!"

Liza Wang, Joyce Tang Lai Ming, Nancy Wu Ding Yan, and 50 extras filmed at Tai Long Wan for the wedding scene. Both Joyce and Nancy wore deep-V dresses, thus taking the limelight away from Myolie. But Myolie did not mind, "Joyce has the figure and wears the deep-V neckline well!"

Yesterday was the last filming day for "War of In-Laws 2007." Liza indicated that she has not had time to rehearse for her upcoming September concert.

Will Liza hold her wedding at the beach? "I have not thought about it." Did she consider marrying boyfriend, Law Ka Ying? "No, I have not."

Gallen Lo & Myolie Wu Film Opposite Dogs & Cats

Both Gallen Lo and Myolie Wu love animals. Filming "When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat" 《當狗愛上貓》in Sai Kung, Gallen and Myolie filmed opposite two small dogs. To assure the dogs' comfort, Gallen and Myolie fed them water and petted them.

Gallen could not hold back and kissed the dog on the lips. Since Gallen's character has an illness, he had to lose weight for the role by cutting back on fats and supper.

Myolie is a cat lover and owns 9 cats at home. Myolie allowed Gallen to handle all the dogs on set, while she played with the cats.

We were continuing to film for War of In-Laws 2007 on a tight schedule. Although everything seemed to be hurried, every day on set filming was actually quite fun. Because the storyline is really funny, that’s why it’s so easy for us to start laughing. Just like today, Ah Jie (Liza), Bosco, and I were filming a scene at a cemetery. The scene was about Bosco accompanied me to visit my father’s grave. Because I missed my deceased father in the series so much, I could not help but hugged Bosco for comfort. But do not think that this scene is sad. Because when Bosco and I were hugging each other, Liza, who was visiting another grave, saw us hugging at that same moment. Liza was furious from what she saw that she started to get really angry at us in the cemetery. The sad mood was immediately changed into a light-hearted scene. Of course this was just an example of how Liza and I bickered in the series. I’ll report more about the series to you guys later.

Myolie Wu Hopes to Learn French

Myolie attended an event by Po Leung Kuk as the identity of a teacher, sharing her thoughts about learning with the young children there, and used Cantonese, Mandarin and English to address the audience. Halfway through her speech, she joked that if one wishes to improve their Mandarin skills, it's better to have a boyfriend whom is well-versed in that language. After that, she clarified that the comment was only meant to lighten up the atmosphere, while her target was to specialize in five different languages. But currently, together with her 'half-baked' Japanese, she only knows 3.5 languages. She hopes to learn French, because she feels that this language is romantic, and when filming for WOIL earlier on, she learnt a few words from Stephen Wong, whom used to live in France.

Myolie expressed that to learn a language, it's best to have a boyfriend who can speak that language well, as it guarantees a vast improvement in grasping the language. When the reporter asked if she would have a French boyfriend, she laughed, "Not necessarily, I also wish to attend some French lessons, but I've to see if I will have the chance." In addition, with her frequent trips to Mainland China, her Mandarin has improved greatly, and she hopes to film a Mandarin series in future.

On the other hand, the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, when asked how Myolie is going to spend the festival, she replied that now that she is filming her new series, she might be spending it with her male co-star(Gallen Lo) and a few dogs and cats.

Very very nice picture of Bosco and Myolie.

Its seem to be kinda quiet here. Anyway, the nominations for Best Actress are out and Myolie's nominated for WAD. I must say, I'm pissed off at the results. IMO, Myolie should have been nominated for DOL and Leila should have been nominated for WAD. Myolie has actually been criticized for her role in WAD saying that she overacts (I didn't really notice it that much, but whatever) so her chances of winning with that nomination is low. However, Leila was really praised for it so she deserved that nomination. Myolie, however, is doing a great job in DOL and plus, its a super grand production. If Myolie was nominated for DOL instead of WAD, she would actually have a chance at winning. I don't think Myolie wold even get into the top 5 with that nomination for WAD. Its like TVB is trying to screw Myolie over, they know she didn't get good reviews for that series yet picked that series for her nomination anyway.

Uh_Oh You took the words right out of my mouth. I also think the same as you. She has been criticized in this role and to have her win the award from this drama, the audiences won't be happy about it. And yes, DOL is a grand production; maybe they should have nominated her from this instead? Seeing that there's no nomination for Best Actress from this drama, wouldn't they have at least considered someone? It's a grand production, after all. But you know, Myolie's acting is good in this drama but she's not really a lead in this drama. To me, her role is unnecessary. Her role is there just so that there's a triangle love in this drama. So, I guess that's why she wasn't nominated for it. And the only drama that she's the lead is WAD.

And I agree that Leila did a splendid job in WAD but I guess that because she isn't a contracted star, they will never promote her or even nominate her for anything. I mean, she should have already gotten the 'Most Improved Actress' award but no. Even a newbie like Linda can but she can't. So, I guess non-contracted stars will not get any thing from the anniversary show? This is rather stupid of them. Regardless of being contracted or not, whoever perform well should be able to get the award.

Gallen Lo Ka Leung, Myolie Wu Hang Yee and Wong Ho Yin filmed a scene for "When a Dog Falls in Love With a Cat" 《當狗愛上貓》 in Central District. At 6 PM, Gallen and Myolie filmed a dating scene, in which the pair frequently stared into each others' eyes with big smiles, creating a romantic and heart-warming scene.

The next scene was shot in a alley, where it was hot with poor air circulation. When the Director yelled "cut," Myolie immediately cooled off with her miniature fan.

The amicable Gallen went to a nearby convenience store and bought cold drinks for the cast and crew to cool off.
