TVB 40th Anniversary [Wax/ Statue Museum Part]:

Saw Myolie Wu today at the airport. I didn't see her at first because my view was blocked, and I almost couldn't recognize her after she came into view because of her hair and her shades. Then she came out of the Arrival Hall and shook hands with all of us! She had this really pretty and bright smile on her face when she saw us, and SHE HAS REALLY GOOD SKIN!! OMG! And she was really really nice, she gladly helped us sign her autograph and even took pictures with us! At first I didn't know how to get her attention to take a photograph with her, then I decided to be a little bold and tap her on her arm, and she turned to me and smiled sweetly and said 'hi!' and my friend helped us take a photo! SHE IS REALLY NICE! And she looked so much prettier in person! I am so glad to have met her in person!

Oh, thank you so much for the photos Jingylovessoup. And I am soooooooo jealous with you that you've seen Myolie in person. She looks really simple and warm in your pictures. Glad to know that she is much prettier and really nice in real life.

^ Yup it is Singapore's Changi International Airport. Sorry to disappoint you, but I won't be going to the Asian TV awards since I'm too tired and need a rest (been busy these few days) after travelling all the way from the other side of the island to the airport. lol. I did overhear from the other fans at the airport today that they will be looking for her at the awards venue. Myolie Wu won the Asian Television Award 2007

The Asian Television Award 2007 was hold at the Suntec City Convention Centre in Singapore on Thursday 29th. Myolie won an award in the category "Best Comedy performance" by an actress for the series "To Grow with Love" (TVB). Myolie is the only TVB actress in the nominee list.

Another actress from Hong Kong is Jessica Hsuan but she represents Singapore television station MediaCorp TV for the nominated series "Parental Guidance". The other nominations are from Indonesia, India and Thailand.

Can someone post more pictures and news of her visit to Singapore and malaysia? I'm dying to see them.

Oh, I like the top of her dress although I'm not too fond of chandelier dress. But she looks so pretty in that dress.

Myolie Wu, Michael, Angela promote dramas at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

"Astro Wah Lai Toi Awards 2007" rolled up the series, TVB popular artists Myolie Wu, Michael Tse and Angela Tong were there to promote dramas inKuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Michael Tse immediately said: "Firstly I do not have any confidence, but when we arrived at the city and saw many fans heartly welcoming us my confidence increased, see you at the award show on the 26th of January!"


The three of them accepted an interview in Sunway hotel around 10 am in the morning, they talked very excited about the Malaysia series' fans, Michael Tse even described the Malaysia fans as "funny".

The local and overseas reporters and some magazine reporters were there to take this unique chance to interview the three of them:


Penang series' fans are enthusiastic

Myolie Wu: The fans of Penang are even more enthusiastic than the Kuala Lumpur's, especially the screaming sounds when I appeared, the hair of my whole body erected.

Michael Tse: This is my first time in Penang, the people here are "very funny", those people are very warm welcoming.

Angela Tong: As for me, this is my first time being in Malaysia, the environment is not bad as well, but I come to Malaysia is to promote "The Super Trio Show", I have to imitate Liza Wang's hot coffee, it's a very rare experience.

Angela Tong: In the "Marriage of inconvenience", I work together with Bobby Au Yeung, after 10 years ago this is my second series with him. The most difficult thing is trying not to laugh for every scene, at one particular scene when Angela saw Bobby's facial expressions she can not keep herself in control and burst in laughing, it took many TAKE before we could continue filming.

As for "Life Made Simple" Lee Siu Ho, the ugly girl role, is my most relaxed role ever, because I do not need to use make-up, only need to deepen the freckled face, put some oil in hair, making myself more ugly, even my boyfriend don't dare to go near me.

Myolie Wu: In War and Destiny, I act as Koo Ping On character, with Ron Ng growing up from young, but he falls in love with fourth mother later on, as for me I fall in love with the traitor Sunny Chan, the development of the whole drama is a tragedy, I believe it won't attract much families to watch.

Michael Tse: airing "La Femme Desperado", my role as "jin man" makes everyone want to beat me, when the drama develops, the audience started to appreciate me, this kind of emotional change make men succesfull, this is my favorite character so far.

"The World's Twisters Adventures" is my cooperated series with Jordan Chan after 10 years, but Jordan Chan is still "curious", but this series including Charmaine Sheh as a group, the feeling is very refreshing.



Talk about the character hoping to act

Angela Tong: As I prefer to act a character during the Halloween so I really hope to act in a horror movie, acting as a zombie would be great.

Myolie Wu: I would not deliberately protuding myself, because I think acting as an ordinary person is the most difficult. As I can be outstanding in a character, I would not mind trying.

Michael Tse: I am looking forward to act a character I have never played before, I have acted as a wife before, but not as a gay, or Dracula is not bad as well.


Paparzzi "treating with respect"

Myolie Wu: Actually artists and paparazzi providing what is lacking, as it is not too excessive (looking under ladies' skirt), or violates my privacy rights then I would not mind them following me, as they do it because of their job.

Michael Tse: Paparazzi are devided in good and bad, but bad is the majority, I really hope the reporters balance some more when they writing the news, otherwise it will getting the reverse effect.

Angela Tong: Once I go out shopping with friend and husband, the paparazzi even wrote I was the third party, which makes my friend very unhappy, so I really hope the reporters could see the feeling of others. As long as they do not harm my friends around me it would be fine.

Myolie Wu & Bosco Wong to Appear as Lovers Soon

Myolie Wu yesterday took photos with Thomas the Tank Engine at a public event and disclosed that she had been a Barbie fan when she was young. Myolie revealed that her plans for Christmas and New Years Day have not filled up the entire days and that she would rather work on holidays so that she can make money.

With ‘Wars of In-Laws 2’ set to be released soon, Myolie expressed that she does not mind appearing at shows with Bosco as ‘lovers’. Currently, they have already been approached by companies who want them to appear at 3 functions, with the closest one being on Boxing Day.

When asked if they will be giving each other presents, Myolie replied, “Why would I need to give him a Christmas present? I only give gifts to my family. (What presents would you like to receive?) Something that is practical and I can use like handbags and shoes.”

I love Myolie, too. She's one fantastic actress, and I'm sure she'll flourish well in the future! Just love her. Love Myolie. Shes look a little pale in these pictures. Make-up effect or tired? She is like such good friends with Kate in the photos. Her dress is very pretty, but it's totally different from Kate's. If you notice, Chramaine also recently had an event with a newbie--Suki Chui, but they were kind of dressed in the same style.

Yeah! you're right! Not many stars are willing to put aside their looks, she's one of the rare few who dare to do that. Like To Grow with Love! That was an extremely huge risk she took by gaining so much weight. I don't think many actresses would be willing to do that? I think that boosted her confidence and that's why she's more willing to take more risks now, like giving herself a total change in her look with her hair. I actually quite like that image though, even though some people say she looks better in the past. I think she looks more refreshed and younger this way. It's admirable how she dares to do what she wants without caring too much about other people's opinion about her.

jingylovessoup: Yeah, I know. She's one of the few that doesn't care about how her hair looks like or what image she has. She's willing to take risk. And TGWL is a great example. People can say that she gained to win the award but I say she gained because it's required by the drama. She's a professional; she should set aside her appearance if she want to act better. Always concerning how you look on screen can lead to acting fake. Therefore, I think she's natural. She's definitely a rare gem.

I want to take this moment to commend “kdramacrave” for this sincere post. I sincerely hope that Myolie would be able to see it. Myolie Wu Plans Christmas Cruise

Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) and Matthew Ko (高鈞賢) did their part to spread the goodwill of the season by visiting the children at Po Leung Kuk (保良局) today. They played games and held a party for the children at the home and also received a donation cheque on their behalf from the Beverly Plaza hotel for HK$100,000.

In return, the children presented their guests with cards that they had made themselves.

For this year's Christmas celebration, Myolie said that she has some time off, so she plans to go for a night cruise and meal with her family. Asked about the complaints from rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) who said he had not received a birthday gift from her, Myolie smiled that she did not know what to buy him, so she will probably give him something together with his Christmas present.

Bosco and Myolie's new series War Of In-Laws 2007 will soon be airing and when asked if she was worried that she would miss out on promotional activity if she was taking a vacation, Myolie said that she has not worried about this because she has no expectations for ratings and just hopes that he audience will like the show. As for whether or not she will go for a Christmas meal with Bosco to promote the show, she laughed that it would be a good idea, but they would have to include her "mother-in-law" Liza Wang (汪明荃) too.

Matthew said that he has to work over Christmas, but he will be taking time out on Christmas Eve to rest and party through the night, before heading straight back to work the next day. He laughed that he will have to see if he can make it. He is pleased to have offers of shopping mall appeareances because he has just bought himself a new car and has to pay off the finance.

Myolie & Bosco to have Xmas Feast for Promotion

Myolie Wu and Matthew Ko were at Po Lung Kuk’s Chong Kee Ting Kindergarten, bringing the Christmas spirit to the children and handing out gifts. Hotel tycoon’s daughter, Po-Man Lo, was also at the event, where she donated $100 000 to the charity.

Myolie disclosed that she does not have to work on Christmas Eve or Christmas, so she is planning to have a big Christmas feast to celebrate. When asked if she will be having this feast with rumoured boyfriend, Bosco Wong, Myolie at first refused to answer but then she said, “I have to promote ‘Wars of In-Laws 2’, so having a Christmas feast will generate a lot of media attention! That is a good idea. But we also have to invite Liza Wang.”
