TVB always challenges views with good memory. They are re-using names all the times. Not long ago, Ray already had a last name 'Chai' in The Last Breakthrough. It's not a common last name so repeating it sounds odd.
Also, Melissa and Michael Tse are husband-wife in this series, in which Michael is a few years older than Melissa. Man, in Kindered Spirit, Michael was her younger brother! But I do notice that back in Kindered Spirit, Michael Tse did look a lot younger. While Melissa hasn't changed much, I guess Michael aged a lot.

now you mention it , i remember that raymond has the same " chai " name , well if in the future series , raymond again was name " chai " , that will be strange

Well Michael Tse do look older but wearing a pair spectacle and longer hair do contribute to the more mature look

Well not only the name is similar, the story line of Michael and Melissa is like one of the episodes in "Loving You." Sharen was in that one too where she was dating a much younger guy and it's always the female who has the worries.

YEs.. I remember that series.. but it was a series of short stories.. Sheren had a lot of different roles in that series.. where she encounters different love-related issues..

no, ray's name in TLB was not chai. his name was "chai ba han" . Chai was his last name, not first name Ray's last name in LFM was chan, i think, and first name was chai. so it's not really the same.

Isn't "Chai" Raymond's last name in LFD? I remember his mom and grandmother referring to the family as Chai ga.. "the Chai family"...

Raymond's name in TLB is Chai Pak Han, in LFD is Chai Foon. The same name.
