hey. can someone pls translate this news from Comic ritz site? It talks about the tissue kiss. this is straight from the production team so this is prolly the most true explanation about that pic. (but then im not sure if this is same article posted from other news-sites) anyways, from what i gather from googling, both DaS & xiaozhu denied there was ever a tissue, not even in their practice. (we already knew that from previous news) the director also said something...that they were also surprised that that picture came about.

DaS said she would never sing again she last sung for Mars. she said back then that she really doesn't want to sing anymore. (for tissot promos, she just dances, never sings). But in CWL, it's included in the script. She agreed because the scene was that she will sing drunk so its ok if she doesnt sing perfectly.

I just finished ep 5! I know I’m slow! But I haven’t had much time to d/l it recently!

I have to agree that ep 5 definitely ROX!! it’s the BEST ep so far! and I love Jiu Ba Dao and Xiao Gui’s character! They’re both so humorous and comical, they’re one of my fav characters now!

And there’s so many of my fav scenes from the ep, just to mention a few:

- XL’s first day working as a flight attendant…she will only be gone for 1 day, and yet QL was starting to miss her already! He was staring up at the plane in the sky in the middle of the road thinking to himself, and he nearly got run down by a truck!
- after XL left, that night QL suddenly woke up screaming in the middle of the night, waking up that fat guy (I keep forgetting his name!) and they both screamed. QL said he had a bad dream about XL being taken away by a monster and he couldn’t do anything to save her. Then the fat guy said “it’s not a monster, it’s a pervert!” and QL asked him “what pervert?” the fat guy was about to explain when suddenly ah ma appeared, scaring him and he jumped on QL! And then that part when ah ma misunderstood what the fat guy said and thought that he said he likes QL! That whole scene is definitely one of the funniest I’ve watched so far!
- that night of XL’s return, everyone was celebrating JBD’s book launch…when JBD was about to confess his feelings for XL in front of everyone, suddenly QL, ah ma and the fat guy shouted “NO!” at the same time! And when both QL and XL were reminiscing all those wonderful moments they spent together, that part was so touching! My heart completely melted!
- In that same scene after everyone heard about QL and XL’s loving moments, they were all so touched touched…except JBD who was really angry and jealous, he ran off and Xiao Gui ran after him…QL felt really bad for hurting his friend.
- On their way home after the “celebration”, QL was still really upset, so XL sang him that song he had sang to her before to cheer him up, however XL’s singing was terrible! I laughed whenever she hit a wrong note! and then they sang the song together!
- Of course, how can I forget the kissing scenes! Though XL was drunk that night, but I doubt QL was! He claims that he was, but I’m not sure about that…very likely he was just trying to make up an excuse!

Of course, there are a lot of other great scenes I love, but I won’t list them cuz most of them have already been mentioned by other people!

Anyway, can’t wait for ep 6! This is truly getting better and better!

When the kiss onn episode 5 that was going to air on 4th Feb, a Comic Ritz worker accidently found a picture of a picture of Da S and Xiao Zhu kissing with a piece of tissue in between them. However both of them and everyone else around them all had the same reply, "when we filmed this kiss, there wasn't a piece of tissue in between!" Was it a spooky out of this world thing than?

Xiao Zhu said when kissing with Da S, they do not need to practice the positioning but the worker saw in the photo a piece of tissue between them. The worker assumed that because they were positioning the kiss, they had the tissue between them. But when the photographer that took pictures for the behind the scenes section was asked about this matter, he said there wasn't any tissue there when he took the picture. He instead asked did that worker used photoshop to key the tissue there. The worker said, "Im not so bored to do this kind of thing!"

Initially they thought maybe they were filming Xiao Zhu's eyes only and were afraid people will say Xiao Zhu wants to take advantage of Da S so they used the tissue. But Xiao Zhu said, "The only time i NG was when the first time i kissed Da S and forgot to close my eyes. If they only needed to film my eyes, we don't even need to kiss. We just need to position ourselves so don't even need a tissue. We really kissed for real when filming!" A puzzled Da S expressed, "I can't really remember any time we used a tissue in between us. Why not we check with the director." The worker thus went and asked the director and he said, "When i film a drama, everything is real. If its for positioning, they do not have to kiss for real. They just need to do the actions. Why do i need to use a tissue?"

Another matter is in the episode that aired on 4th Feb, Da S was singing which is very rare. The last time Da S sang was with Zai Zai. It was the ending theme song, Let Me Love You, for the drama 'Mars'. When asked about this, Da S laughed and replied, "I will not sing again cuz i think my voice is like spirits from another world singing. I only agreed to sing in that scene because Xiao Zhu and my character was a little drunk. When one is drunk, even if they sing off key its alright so i didnt care whether i sang well or not. Drunk people don't have to sing perfectly. I just pity those surrounding workers! Haha!"

I think Barbie is not a bad singer, she's quite good...she did well in "Let me love you" with ZZ...she just has no confidence in her singing.
I wish there was a duet of her and Show! It'll be awesome! But it's sad that Barbie is just too afraid well, at least they did sing together in that drunk scene!

i just realized something..the ratings for Corner with Love broke 5 already...why didn't they make a big deal out of it? =\ has anyone heard on the news if there's a celebration or any type of news related to Corner with Love breaking 5? cuz i really thought that after it broke 5, the cast would make a big deal about it like the Hana Kimi's cast did. (and no, i'm not comparing those 2 dramas)

cuz knowing xiao zhu's personality, he should've made a huge deal about it, haha, but so far, i haven't seen him do it, not even on "yu le bai fen bai"

unfortunately Xiao Zhu isn't able to promote CWL on YLBFB cuz its a rival to Hana Kimi. and Hana Kimi is a GTV production i think. he did say before the first time he promoted CWL the next live episode he said he was scolded afterwards. so thats why he and xiao gui always sneakily promote CWL. normally the first live episode after sunday Xiao Zhu will try and include quotes from CWL. the most commonly used phrase is Zhuan Jiao. they always say zhuan jiao and will meet any person/event. so when Megan Lai was on to promote the CWL OST, boy they milked that episode manz. at every possible time try and promote CWL. even Megan Lai joined in by quoting the phrase QL said to XL when she fell down when she explained she always sing this song at KTV cuz it helps their friends who just lost their love.

so i guess there weren't be any news of celebration of breaking the ratings. probably cuz Da S and Xiao Zhu are very busy too.

wow i thought the first episode was pretty good. Before watching this, I expected Alan Luo? (is that the main character's name) to be very dramatic, typical taiwanese actor, and he is quite dramatic in the series, but in a good way! I like how he yells at barbie when she's acting like a snob and how he's usually right. I really like his character in the series. how he gets weak when she acts cute and nice and how he yells at her from time to time because she needs someone to keep her grounded. I am getting addicted and can't wait until sublimes subs the next three episodes!

Last night was really unusual for me and the girls in my family! I (as in myself) was d/l ep 5 to re-watch it again at youtube, and then my sisters came in and wanted to watch it with me, they refused to go away cuz they love the drama as well...after a while my mom came in and she wanted to watch with us cuz she's such a big fan of Barbie's and love this drama too! And because our internet connection is really slow, we had to wait till midnight for the entire ep! But even when it was still d/lin, they still refused to leave, cuz they know I love to peek! So we all crammed into my little room, and while the rest of the family were fast asleep, the girls in our family were in my room lying on my bed waiting for the d/l to complete!
That experience was really weird for me, cuz I've never seen them like that, especially my mom! Being 46, she said she felt like a 16 yr old last night! And I've never seen my sisters so addicted to a drama to that extent! It shows just how addictive this drama is, my friends are also loving this!

The biggest difference in the china version is that they cut out scenes, and sometimes they cut out TOO much...often, they even erase a whole character from the drama and everything related, just like what they did to Mars; they cut out the character 'Tong Dao' and everything related to him, and the whole thing just made no sense! Though I don't think they'll remove any characters in this drama, but still they cut some scenes out...it's really not worth watching. And of course the actors are the same, they never change the casts, they just edit the drama itself.

It's always better to watch the original taiwan version, cuz that is the actual drama that has been released.

omg, i just watched it, and i must say, this series is like..SO FREAKIN SWEET! i love the way qing lang understand xin lei and how whenever she's in trouble like missing the bus haha, he's always there with his bike <3<3<3 so thotful!!

Episode 6! Love it! as usual bie and zhu are so wacky together and of course there are super sweet and emotional moments…. I have to say I like dean here and his character is still of an enigma and I wanna know what his story is! Haha! he looks good with Barbie!

Don’t remember everything though haven’t watched the dailymotion yet coz my net sucks hehe!



[spoiler] when xl got her job in the hotel, ql went to find her and see if she’s okay (gosh he’s so in love! Come on!) and then xiao yang caught him and he was pretending to be admiring a piece of artwork on the wall haha! xiao yang was like” that’s been there for years and you’ve always said that it was ugly.” And then ql said “that’s why I’m looking at it and I think it needs to be changed.” Xiao yang said” I’ve asked you to draw something for me a dozen times in the past, you don’t want to.” And ql was suddenly, “ok, I’ll do it!” and xy was suspicious ”you changed your mind so suddenly.” And she was thinking what changed in the hotel recently and she said “yu xin lei!” and then ql said, “you don’t want to?” and started to leave and then xy agreed so ql was like smiling happily. Such a dork! Just to have the chance to see xl haha! and maybe see if she’s ok and stuff!

The part where they met in the hallway haha their thoughts were funny. Xl was like what is he doing here?” I can’t remember the exact lines but it was funny. Haha! ql was like “if I wasn’t worried about u, I wouldn’t come down here to check on you.” and xy linked her arms with ql. Ql’s face was like “oh no, xl’s there” and then xl was glaring at them haha! and bi zhu was so angry coz she thinks xy is trying to steal ql away. And she was so angry at ql coz he didn’t even look at them! And she was like “he has the balls to cheat on you even if he is so poor” haha found this really funny!

Gosh, I was teary-eyed at the part where xl was crying coz he just met someone from shanghai. And he has met her father a few times. And he’s saying don’t blame your parents. Coz if it was me, I wouldn’t know how to face my family either. And xl was like I don’t blame them. It’s just why didn’t they tell me and took me with them. I can endure hardships. I just want to be with them. I miss shanghai. I miss my family. Waaaah!

The part where xl missed the bus. Qin lang was there. gosh! He still was there to see if she’s ok. I mean he knows she’s taking the bus haha! and ql was like “wow, it’s bad enough that buses don’t stop for ugly women, even if there’s a beautiful woman it won’t even stop. Xl didn’t mind him. He was like “some people are weird. Their friend is talking to them and they don’t answer. Still no answer. He was then” well some guys are more weird, talking by themselves like this.” And xl still didn’t mind him. He got annoyed and suddenly tapped her head and said “anybody home??” wahaha! Funny! And xl was like what are you doing? “you’re not bickering with me and I’m bored!” “you really are annoying.” Ql said, ”that’s it that’s it! that’s what I was talking about! Come one!” haha! xl wasn’t really in the mood. So ql was asking what’s the matter? And then he thought it was because of the thing with xy. And he began to explain. And xl said,”does it look like I have a lot of time during work?” ql was like “no.” and xl asked,” you think I’m not busy when I’m working?” and ql was like,”yeah you looked busy…” and then xl said,”so why whould I care about such a thing? It doesn’t matter to me anyway.” Ql was then so what’s the problem then? Is it because you have…? And xl was like “you’re crazy!” and then ql said to tell him what’s wrong! And xl was like,” nothing, I’m hungry.” And ql was like you should have told me earlier! Let’s go, ‘ll treat you, you can eat whatever you want!” and xl was like “is there shanghai food?”

And ql called long distance to shanghai just to ask how to make shanghai food! Haha! and then when xl went to see if he was done, he still haven’t started and she asked if he was calling shanghai to ask for help. And ql was like why would I waste money on long-distance just for you?” hahaha! Wow, huh?

And when he finished, xl looked so happy. And ql was like so happy too seeing her face when he put the food down. And then xl was about to praise him for his skills, but then she started saying that it wasn;t right and stuff. I think it was the taro dish or something hehe. And then he said, if you don’t like it, then I’ll eat it then. Xl was like you made this for me, you can’t eat it, I will. Then they started fighting over the food and putting it into their mouths haha! hilarious! and then xl said that his shanghai food is not that good, he can only cook oajian. And left. Ql was mad and said to ah da if I do anything for this girl again, grab a knife and just kill me okay?? And when he looked at the table. He was suddenly smiling!!!! So cute! And then he was bringing a plate of fruits, I think, to xl’s room and then ah da was like “aren’t you spoiling her with this?” and he said, “did you see the dish? She ate it all up!” and he smiled happily….awwww!!! and then went to give xl the fruits. And then xl was looking at the photo album and said that for a moment there she felt she was in shangahi because of the taste and smell. It was the smell of memories. Awww… she misses home so much.! And then of course, ql’s words to her in his mind…. Awwww!!!

Love the part where an teng feng caught xl to keep her from falling hehe!

And the part where they met up with ql and jbd and ah yi. Jbd was drunk already and asked xl if she though ql was a good guy. And if such a good guy like him is in front of her, how much does she love him! Xl couldn’t answer but there were flashbacks of their kiss. And then ql just stopped jbd coz it was awkward.

The part where xl was looking out into the night view and ql was like don’t mind jbd. And xl said, she doesn’t. and he’s lucky he’s surrounded by friends and family. Unlike her. And he said, ”you still have us.” She suddenly looked down at the lights and said, “those lights below each represent a warm family. But none of them is mine.” Ql asked,” why do you believe that you can’t find your own light here? Just hold on to the dream in your heart and it will be alright. Xl asked, the dream in my heart? Ql said, “yes, what is your dream?” and xl was like I’ve had everything in the past so haven’t really thought about it and have no dreams…what is your dream then?” ql was like,”mine? I’ll tell you but don’t laugh ok?” and xl said no, I won’t” but then an teng feng called awww..!

Haha that car scene was hilarious haha!

Oh yeah qin lang’s drawings he is putting up are mainly about xl! Haha just noticed that!

Xl really is good to say that she was the one who drank all the beer. So that an teng won’t get in trouble. Wonder why an teng can’t drink again ever? Hehe! And he was like I’ll break off the contract if you fire her and I won’t drink again hehe!

And he called her to lunch to apologize. And then xl saw the “reporter” that tries to bribe her for an teng’s information. It was hired by an teng to see if she’s trust-worthy. Ql and xy were there! and the thing about taking down ql’s painting in an teng’s room came up. And an teng said it was his agent’s idea. And then he said I’ll have it hung back then. And ql was like why? And then an teng said coz he also cares about what xl might be feeling. Awwwwww! Haha! cute!

And ql’s imagination where he should have told an teng that xl was his girlfriend wahaha! And he evn kissed her in front of him hahaha! That was so funny!!!

And love the part where an teng took xl and bz for a ride then they went to the concert hall. At first xl said it was ok. They can ride the bus. Then an teng said “this is an order” haha so cute!

Ql was telling ah yi to call bz again and again coz he knew xl was with an teng haha! jealousy man! Haha! and jbd and ah yi was like let’s go home forget about it (coz of the sbook signing of jbd, so they’re calling bi zhu about it) haha ql said that if they’re friends they won’t leave. And they still turned to leave and ql started singing that brotherhood song hahaha! Was so funny! Jbd covered his mouth in the end and told ah yi to call bz again hahaha! Too funny!

And oh yeah the part where they put the painting back in an teng’s room and an teng was looking at it strangely and then he said I like this drawing. And xy was like see I told u he will like it. and the manger said, yes someone like an teng admiring this painting so it really is that good then. Then an teng was like,”no, it’s not that.” Ql was like why did you say you like it then? And he was like “I’ll tell you next time.”

When they were outside walking to the elevator, xl was wondering why an teng’s eyes has sorrow in them when he was looking at ql’s painting. And then ql was thinking why he minds the way an teng looks at his painting. Or maybe he minds how an teng looks at xl. And when he turned to look at xl, xl caught him and he suddenly took a right turn wahaha but that wasn’t the way to the elevator. Haha!

The preview! They’re going on an excursion! And xy kissed ql!!! Waaaaaaah! Noooo!!! And xl saw it. and she told ql that he should just tell amah and others that they broke up. Oh oh there was the part where ql went to see jbd and gave him doughnuts again. And ah yi was like jbd isn’t angry because you’re with xl, he’s angry because you didn’t tell him the truth. Jbd said if you like xl, why didn’t you tell me in the first place? And ql said “I don’t” and jbd was like”you’re still lying!” and ah yi was like those words you said to came from the heart.” And ql was like “really?” and jbd said, the words you said to each other that night, anyone who saw you will not think that you both are not in love!” [/spoiler]







i don't remember in details but yeah qin lang thought it was an teng's idea to take down the painting but it was in fact his agent's idea. i think i've included that in my summary just the gist haha!
