hi sunshine4ever, i guess QL didn't kiss her..it's just his imagination. he say he should have react that way so the japanese guy clear of their relationship.

After episode 3 i feel that Barbie is suit for this role...just spoilt rich girl who are still learning the right way of life and meeting the right guy. Like they way she fight with QL always.

i DL'd that ep1-20 torrent. it has at least 2 hours more of unseen parts after ep. 6. i say at least coz i havent seen ep.6 yet. the extra might be longer than 2 hrs. ep20 is up to the pool-kiss scene. and it's got a different end credits (no previews like in tw version). i think that's the only saving grace of that set coz the quality is so below average & as many said, so many cuts. but im still gonna watch it im too excited so im gonna watch as much as i can even if its cut.

no scenes were cut out. and the image quality is same as icefish. but you were right. there are blackous here & there. but its ok coz its very very brief. it does not interrupt the story.

no, the versions are the same, except ydy and icefish have better quality than qingkong. The qingkong is the same as what they showed on tv.
I think she meant that the "timing" on the video is different. It might be off by a few seconds depending on who released the file. Some websites like to include an advertisement in the beginning of an episode. It affects the timing of the video. The episode itself is the same, nothing was cut out.

by the way, the ydy version for episode 6 is out now if anyone wants to download that one.


I like this drama, some scenes were so funny. Alan and Barbie both did a great job with their roles.

woohoo! i just finished watching up to ep20. highlights coming up. dont read if you dont want to be spoiled!

ep.7 -
nothing much happened. i was kinda bored with it. so anyway. story is that XL & BZ would take Dean (cant remember the character's name) away without permission from his manager to Kaoshiung (i think) for 2 days. QL & the 2 guys tagged along to do some autograph signing of JBD's book. some funny parts here & there. Like when QL greeted Dean "good morning" then dean said "how are you doing?" Ql obviously didnt understand beyond good morning so he just said "bye". and the scene where they were driving to kaoshiung. Dean, XL & BZ rode together while QL & the 2 guys rode the yellow car. QL was making gestures at Dean from where he was sitting in the other car and Dean said to XL, "QL doesnt look too friendly" ^^. then when the 4 guys rode this pool-slide-raft together. ep.7 is really like a blur to me. bottomline is, QL is going to DIE of jealousy. hahah. oh, this is also the episode where XL caught Xiao Zhi (?) setting up QL for a kiss. of course XL didnt know it was a setup. moving on...

ep.8 -
yah! i loved it! QL will continue dying of jealousy. Xl & Dean got away from the rest of the group, rode a boat ride to somewhere farther down the river. QL followed the boat all the way using his bike. he followed the 2 around in that place until night. juicy part happened when Dean was like pouring out his childhood memories to XL (he was crying). it seems that XL reminds him of his dead sister. (i think its a sister. "jie jie" is sister right?) so..Dean was crying & Xl was consoling him. QL saw them hugging. he went back to the hotel with a heavy heart. before that, while XL & Dean was getting back to the hotel, XL dropped one of her sneakers (the one QL made) to the river. She swam after it. Dean, instead of diving after her, just took out his phone & took a pic of XL in the water. ^^ back at the hotel, BZ told XL how QL came back all gloomy. so XL stormed to his hotel room. funny scene. Xiao Gui opened the door for XL. but he is just wearing underpants. wahaha. that's a funny scene. so.. XL & QL went by the poolside to talk. more like fight. and that's when the pool kiss happened. yah! their 3 friends were watching ^^ how i wish i could understand what they're saying. so after the kiss..they were akward at first, but then they were like back at bickering ^^ at the ending, i think XL & BZ was getting fired at the hotel.

notes : DaS & dean has more english dialogues in these 2 episodes which is good coz i could somehow understand what's going on

that actor playing dean's manager is really over-acting! and i still hate BZ voice and the way she talks.[/spoiler]

I think that each TW version episode is actually two episode of the China version. From what francesca said, I think that the China version episodes 17 and 18 are actually just the TW version episode 7. So that means that China version episodes 19 and 20 are the TW version episode 8. Sorry for the confusion.

guys, sorry if im confusing some people here. i watched the china version which is way ahead of the ones shown in taiwan. eps.17 & 18 of the chinese is ep. 7 of the taiwanese which will be shown this coming sunday. eps. 19 & 20 - chinese is ep. 8 - taiwanese. the chinese is split into 30minutes each. okie?
