His name is Dean Fujioka, he's japanese. I think he's cute too, but he's just a bit too skinny, he looks like he's all skin and bones >.< either way, Show is still the best for me!

btw, i like the ending.... it was a double twist.......ba...... When 心蕾 was bidding 秦郎 farewell..... it was rather toching and i cried.......(maybe becos im emotional.....) it was only towards the end that i felt that 尚东 was very 伟大, able to let go of his love and allow her to pursue her own happiness......

But at least, this show did impress me, esp... show's acting and the humour......

and i cried when SD let her go. :] it was like . awwwwwww so sweeet and then BAM! WATERWORKS! LoL..

Honestly, when SD finally accepted defeat at the end, I didn't feel the least bit sad...I guess it's because due to all his selfish actions, I grew to really dislike him towards the end...so when he finally gave up on XL, I wasn't sad at all, in fact, I was really happy because he finally understood the real meaning of true love. But I wasn't the least but sad for him, I thought he should have given up on XL earlier.
This may sound mean, but when SD was crying, I had a wide grin on my face, he was really hurting during that moment when he realized that he had lost XL to QL, but inside me, I couldn't be happier knowing that he was having a taste of all the hurt that he had previously caused XL and QL...I thought he deserved it for causing so much pain and suffering to the couple. I really dislike SD, and I would prefer if he doesn't return if he does return, I just hope he leaves XL and QL alone.

I've only seen four or five episodes of this (my Mandarin skill = zero), but from what I've seen this series is really good. I was kind of surprised to see the lady from Silence here. What a complete change in roles!

The irony of casting Barbie as a rich girl hasn't escaped me. After seeing her in MARS and MG I&II, she can't look any more different. But then again, her family goes bankrupt in this series, so she's heading off towards poverty again... kind of.

Really good series. One of the few that I'm keeeping up with right now.

yup, maybe the sequel can somehow divert a bit to AY and his partner...... about how QL and XL help their friends to matchmake and cause a bit of trouble themself.....

i just finished this series last night, i really loved it! it's a great light-hearted comedy, but it still has it's sad and very touching moments, especially towards the end. both show and barbie did really well, barbie was great as always...but i was really surprised by show's performance, i guess it's because this is the very first time i've seen him act, so i was really shocked at just how great he was! before i watched this series, i wasn't really that interested in show and barbie, i didn't really see much in them...but now i can really see the great chemistry they have! they really do make a great couple!

i heard there's going to be a sequel, i'm looking forward to it, hope it'll be as good as the first!

the girl's name is Lu Jia Xin... i learned that from watching yu le bai fen bai yesterday.. LoL

if you guys missed it, go find it and watch it... ! LoL well it's not a particularly interesting episode, but "Xiao Yang" competes in Stephanie Sun's singing competition, and after she was done singing, Show comes out and was like "wow, that was so good 'CAI XIAO YANG' " LoL and then she responded, "was that Qin Lang calling? " and then Show had his little folder thing with the Corner with Love cartoon on it and was displaying it...but all "subtly" cuz he's not allowed to promote his drama on his show. LoL

Really? was she any good? about the singing part i mean...i never thought she was pretty in the drama, but i do think shes quite pretty in the pic though.

she wasn't horrible, but a few missed notes here and there. she got last place though.. or no... "zui jia yong qi" .. hahaha. she was kinda pretty on bai fen bai yesterday . i'm sure show just said that she did a really good job, cuz he wanted to promote corner with love. .. SNEAKY! HAHAHAHA.

last time i saw her on Kang Xi about artists who started out in singing but now are doing different things like acting or hosting. she was really just ok only. normal...

I just started watching this last night and it was soo good! I'm so hooked onto the series now.. Alan Luo is such a cutie and I love his character, and Barbie is REALLY pretty in here! Such a different character from Meteor Garden..

I'm on episode 9 right now I think.. love all the scenes between Alan and Barbie! So cute.. especially the shower scene, the rain scene, the part where they fall off the bicycle and she grabs onto him and cries.. =)

Idol drama “Corner With Love” will be coming to an end soon, will Xiao Zhu and Da S finally get together at the end? The kissing scene that is going to be broadcast tomorrow is the most intense kiss out of the whole series. Because they need to have that feeling that it is hard for them to be together, the director requested that they kiss very passionately. In result they were both kissed really hard, aside from having NG scenes, both of their lips were almost swollen.
In “Corner With Love” there are a lot of kissing scenes between Da Sa and Xiao Zhu. But most of them were just like pecks on the lips. This time the director wanted something different, which made Xiao Zhu, who is not an experienced kisser, to feel really awkward.


The crew chose Shanghai’s scene to film the last kiss scene, at that time, Xiao Zhu’s fans from China were also there, and Xiao Zhu was really nervous about reporters taking random pictures. He said, “Before all my kissing scenes were indoors, this is the first time I kissed someone with so many people watching, so I was worried about people secretly taking pictures.


The director wanted both of them to kiss very passionately, Xiao Zhu accidentally rushed forward to hard and cried out. “That hurts!” His lips were a bit swollen and the crew members started laughing at his puffy lips.
Da S, who has filmed many kissing scenes jokingly said, “You want to kiss me that much? You came forward to hard! It does kind of hurt.”


When Xiao Zhu was asked about his feelings toward this kissing scene, is there anything that is worth remember? Xiao Zhu said that he was really tired when filming, one minute he is filming a kissing scene, the next minute he has a fight with his love enemy Chen Zhi Hai. This scene caused him to sweat a lot, so how is it possible to remember the good things about the kissing scene?


With Chen Zhi Hai’s fighting scene, the director was really strict about it, the director went on and on about it for 30 minutes. Xiao Zhu and Chen Zhi Hai were already sweating like crazy. When it was time for them to film this, Xiao Zhu’s arm accidentally hit and hurt Chen Zhi Hai, Xiao Zhu immediately apologized.


Xiao Zhu has filmed fighting scenes before in “The Outsiders 2”, this scene was also Chen Zhi Hai’s first time. He said that at first his actions were very weak, then the director said that he fights like a girl. After that, the director and Xiao Zhu had to teach him some fighting actions, and he needed to put more strength to it. About being hit by Xiao Zhu, that was merely just an accident and it doesn’t matter!

i've watched that intense kiss over n over again and i never get sick of it..it was realli romantic how Da S chased after Alan and she was soo shy when he ask her if she loves him...next thing u know, they're having this hot n sexy kiss heheheheh.....

i forgot which ep this was in, but does any1 know that piano score XL was playing when QL was cooking Shanghai cuisine 4 her? i love that piano score! it's really nice n i was just wondering if any1 knows it n where i can d/l it?

this series is really absolutely cuteeeeee, the kiss scenes were amazinnggg =) hahah xiao zhu is really good at acting!! at least for his first dramaaa! i was pretty amazed. anyone else think so? i wish the ending was better tho, i mean it was good, but not good enufff loll.. i'm too demanding..hahah but i absolutely love this drama. i have a friend who hasn't watched it yet, but has it downloaded. i'm like rushing her to start watching it and finish bcuz it's so amazingg...

this is a must watch. xiao zhu and da s work great together even outside of variety shows! they're really funny in this series.

i hope we can see the ng of that kissing scene...it was so cute when show laugh after the kiss... its the most passionate kiss in the series my only regret is the camera immediately zoom out and just show their head moving ha ha i wanna see more xl and ql passionate sweet scenes like more holding hands....the way their body is so close from head to toe in that scene was pretty hot...

the ratings is still good despite the release of pirated china version.. that makes me happy..

2 more episodes to go and i will definetely miss xl and ql...

Episode 14: Qing Lang Finally Admits to Xin Lei... WITH A KISS!!!

Episode 14 saw the unraveling of secrets that would later sealed the romantic fate of Qing Lang and Xin Lei. The episode started with Qing Lang and his companions being invited by Xin Lei's friend to the latter's party, not knowing that the affair will turn out to be a wedding proposal on the part of Xin Lei's wealthy ex-boyfriend.

A series of hate segments dotted the main characters, until Xin Lei made the initiative to break with finality her first boyfriend, after learning from her mother that she actually knew Qin Lang's mom, and hoped that she and Qin Lang were still okay. Both Xin Lei's mom and Qin Lang's mom, jointly owned the house in Taiwan now occupied by the grandma of Qin Lang and his uncle Ah Ta. But since Xin Lei's mom was able to marry a rich Shanghai businessman that later became Xin Lei's father, she decided to leave the Taiwan house solely to Qin Lang's mother. She also hoped that Qin Lang would be able to find his father (one of the last remaining plots unanswered in the series, which will show its final episode on April 22 on CTV).

Knowing this, Xin Lei confronted Qing Lang one night, and the latter, after saying several reasons why he kept on pursuing her all the way to Shanghai, only ended up asking her if she really loved him, to which Qing Lang didn't hesitate this time to land a kiss at Xin Lei after several episodes of hesistancy.

Of the many kissing scenes Xiao Chu had with Da S, this was the most intense so far, and the one segment that more or less made up for the ugly fight sequence between Qing Lang and Xin Lei's wealthy boyfriend. But to the surprise of Xin Lei's female companion, she went back to the restaurant where Qin Lang worked and boarded, to find him happy and settled with Xin Lei's wealthy boyfriend.

One positive development in this episode after a series of ugly encounters, was that Qin Lang was finally able to prove to Xin Lei's wealthy boyfriend that he was always there during Xin Lei's low moments that he didn't. At least the archrival here admitted his mistake. Now this is what I call good drama.

No wonder Xiao Chu and Da S deserved a Golden Bell nomination. Hope the two will win.

Meanwhile, if you are going to look for the DVD of the series, more likely than not, you will get only the episodes that were already aired by CTV, as this is a Comic Production project and they were strict on advance releases.

wow i never expected them to have this many kisses! i like the kiss from ep14! hehe so unexpected and so sweet! ^0^ qin lang always always surprises her with a kiss! haha! there kisses are always like that! ^o^ kawaii!~~~~ i love the way they bicker and the way they suddenly become all shy with each other! and also the kiss barbie gave him! although maybe she didn't really kiss him there... haha! so cute!!!!!!!

Everything about Epsidoe 14 was totally awesome! I love all the sweet and intense moments! Man, I can't believe CWL is about to end. This really sucks. Why...? I'll definitely miss XL & QL. But wait. I hope the ending is good at least...A happy one.

i don't like sd either...i used to like him because he was portrayed as a sweet and loyal person in the beginning, very caring towards xl...but he did turn selfish and abit immature (if i may say) towards the end, and like many people, i also began to really dislike him by then...so i really wouldn't have want xl to end up with him, it would've been a huge mistake for her (and sd) if they did.
