its actually very common for each episode to be 1.5 hours for dramas that air once a week. if 1 hour only, i think all the fans will complain alot.

yeah, xiao zhu is singing the corner with love song which is also the ending theme song. megan lai is the one singing the starting theme song. they also used evan cai ming you's wo ke yi (i can) song too. can't wait for the OST.

hmm is the torrent out anywhere? icefish is normally very quick but nowadays they are pretty slow.

I LOVE IT!!!!! it's funny, sweet, cute and barbie and show has so much chemistry! i love all of their scenes together! in the first episode, they're just building up the personality of each character! and what their relationship is! i can't wait for next week haha! i'm not sure if i should post more about the episode since not all have watched it yet...but barbie is really suited for this role, ohmygod! there's no trace of san cai or qi luo anywhere haha! such a great actress and show really is funny! they both are! if you guys, have watched it already let's discuss it wahaha! love this!!! thanks for all the trailers and pix!!! btw, i like the way they introduced xl and ql in the beginning haha! stating their hobbies and stuff.

oh and also, i'm wondering why they didn't use show's song "bu dong wo de xin" we heard that before right in the very first trailer? too bad... really liked that song and i think it suited with the theme of the drama.... hehe!

I think maybe because themesongs tend to be happy and bubbly, and the song that Megan sang was definitely a very lively and cheerful one, so it's quite suitable for a themesong...while the ending song tends to be much slower and sometimes sadder as well, and that applies to the song Show sang

well yeah, but i just thought it would be the ending song haha! but they changed it... or rather they didn't include show's other song... or maybe it was just a rough draft back then regarding the osts haha! but hey still like the songs! haha!

Show and Barbie have awesome chemistry and I'm really loving the storyline

[spoiler]cuz he treated XL as a friend and was insulted when she offered him the tickets. all he wanted was respect and appreciation for helping her, not money or tickets. but to XL, giving money or the ticket in this case is her way of showing her appreciation.[/spoiler]

Well...I think because Mars is a rather different drama. I thought she was great.

In CWL, I think Barbie really pulls off her role well...Sassy, rich princess-type.
She's really cute and pretty in here. But besides looks, she is feisty and impulsive!
Let's just say that it's really different from her past dramas. Love it all!
I'm rather impressed with Show's acting too. He is too funny and adorable!
Barbie and Show are really kawaii! I love Show's expressions so much...Hilarious!

[spoiler] *of course, first meeting of xl and ql! xl's dialogue here was great! the part where she gave ql the money to buy a new bike!

*the part where zhi kai pulled xl from her car. i think it was sweet and the way he said it was a robbery. also the part where he designed xl's ring based on her own design.

*part where xl and ql meet again in the restaurant. ql's co-workers and boss are hilarious as well! haha! and how xl didn't want to bow down to ql haha!

*part where xl went to talk to ql to persuade him to teach her how to cook! their thoughts were really funny. and the way ql wanted to tell her there's no problem in him helping her. and there was a part where ql's head hit a tree branch and he said to xl ," ur so tricky! u didnt tell me to avoid the tree!" so xiao zhu!

*part where they start cooking. and xl didnt want to tie up her hair coz it was bad for the hair. and ql was holding it up for her in the end wahaha! and he even smelled it! almost getting caught haha! and after when he tasted xl's cooking! so cute! and when xl had to go and he asked that 'ur going to let the teacher wash the dishes? and xl said " thank you" ql then said "your welcome" hahaha! and he didn't even notice right away that he said that!

love the fact that ql can't do anything about xl haha! so cute! more to come. [/spoiler]

I just finished ep 1! It's soooooo good! Barbie is so cute! I agree, she suits the character! and Show is super HOT! I love the great chemistry they have! I really like the scene when Qin Lang was teaching Xin Lei how to make oyster omelets, and when it was Xin Lei's turn, she refused to tie her hair up so Qin Lang had to hold her hair instead, and while she was cooking, he smelt her hair! lol that was cute! but so are all the scenes with them!
I quite like Xin Lei's fiance too, he seems really polite and caring...that scene in which he proposed to her was really sweet...of course I still prefer Qin Lang! but I really like Dean alot too!

Anyway, I won't reveal anymore cuz I don't wanna spoil it for anyone who hasn't watch it yet.

Omg! The ratings went over 3! WOW! That's excellent! especially considering it's only the first ep! usually the first ep tend to have ratings of around 2, but this drama already had around 3 for it's first ep! Hope the ratings will continue to rise!

i totally love episode 1!!! i agree tat the chemistry between Barbie and Xiao Zhu was so good! Barbie is so pretty and Xiao Zhu is super 'shuai' in the series! they r both so funny too.... the expression that Qian Lang made after bein locked up and Xin Lei ran bak to get him at the kitchen was way too cute! if i was Xin Lei wen Qian Lang handed me tat umbrella, i totally would fall in love with him at tat moment cuz he was so hott wen he said his line and walked away ....hehe...if i continue to talk about my favorite parts, i will list out the whole episode and i dunt want to spoil it for anyone so i'll stop here .......

i'm very happy tat the ratings for the first episode was so good ....it definitely deserved the good ratings cuz i just loved every part of it!

although i never liked DaS however, from the previews i saw of this series, i hafta say her expressions she makes me laugh and are pretty good and acts the part i thought in this series, she looked a bit like liu yi fei (crystal) in some scenes.
And xiao zhu like always is hilarious

the last part where ql ate the whole oyster cake was so hilarious! he had the whole thing in his mouth wahaha!

loved the part where xl was laughing at ql's maid uniform haha! it was just so natural!

part where xiao zhu was all embarassed and told xl not to tell anyone about the part where he wore the maid outfit hahaha! (didn't xl take a picture though?haha!)

and the rain part, gosh, that was a really good scene! very touching!

and also the scene where xl first handing ql the ticket, loved that scene! the way they separated with xl saying never seeing each other again! but then afterwards she had a disastrous incident in the kitchen and she called up ql with her voice all so sweet needing his help hahaha! that was hilarious! and the scene after that where she manipulated ql again into agreeing to help her!

and after all the things that happened, his self-dignity being stepped on and all... it's really sweet that ql was willing to help her out still... awww... sometimes ql is just so funny and cute but when you think about it he does have some self-pride =( poor ql... [/spoiler]

basically all the parts with da s and xiao zhu are really my faves haha! i just babbled on and on haha! =D



ah yes, da s and her clothes! yeah love her taste in clothes and the way she carries them always that sophisticated feel! and the way she like accesorizes and all ^o^
