Looks like there will be a celebration today for the whole cast and production staff of CORNER WITH LOVE, for the success of its pilot episode aired last Sunday which garnered a satisfactory rating results.

I hope BARBIE brings her beloved VIC in joining the celebration. One good thing about 'Corner With Love', it has its staying power to be consistently on top. Not only because it has a good storyline, natural comic but also the good performance of all the cast especially Barbie and Show who have shown a terrific acting. They have shown ability to make the audience laugh and that's what we call versatility. And they are also found to have a great chemistry on screen next to Vic and Barbie of course who not only has great chemistry on screen but also off-screen.

It's reported that if CWL is received well, they might film a sequel to it.

Also, Show and Barbie made a deal. I think something about if CWL's ratings are the highest (?), then they will each do something. Show will dress in a superhero outfit and Barbie will kiss (?) Dee! I hope someone will translate the article in detail.

haha, i just started this series and i think its quite cute. da s is such a goodspoiled girl and xiao zhu is so funny! i loved that part where he wore that maids outfit! she really seems different from MG.. maybe its cuz i havent heard her for a long time, but i think she sounds so different too.. and i love the songs in the show so far!

da s really does look pretty! she still looks so young, but rather still.. more mature too.

I would like to think VIC was with BARBIE at the CWL celebration last night, Jan 11th. How else can he make an open bet that if the rating of CWL rises up, he and Barbie will kiss in the presence of everyone.

Maybe, Vic as usual was in a low-profile, no picture taking allowed. I bet he doesn't want to steal the limelight from the major stars of CWL, Barbie and Show.

i don't think vic was there... to my understanding, the writer was just saying if they include zaizai in the bet it is a bit unnecessary, but if the ratings for the drama will reach an all-time high, then kissing zaizai in public will be worth it. hehehe! the bet really is show's gonna wear a superman outfit (and i think do some sort of bunjee jumping with it on) and then barbie's gonna french kiss with dee! haha! crazy!

Just finished the !st episode, even though I didn't understand a thing they said, I still thought it was hilarious. Especially when Alan wore that Maid uniform lol, Babie looks like a Princess, she's just shining/glowing all the time : )

About the bet, I rather Barbie kiss Zai instead of her sister, I think everyone would like to see her kissing her bf in public instead of Dee.

Haha, I have to admit, Barbie and Xiao Zhu are a matching pair. :] They are so cute, and Barbie being a rich and sassy girl with Xiao Zhu being a hardworking guy is really...a 'fresh' pair. =] They are so cute together. xD

And haha, I love the expression on Xiao Zhu's face after Barbie unlocked him from the fridge door. Xiao Zhu's ccuuuuttteeee pout. <3 I only watch it because of Xiao Zhu, but now I'm a Barbie fan as wellll~ :]

Overall, this show deserves 5/5 stars. The show is THHHAAATTT good. Hehe.

"It Started with a Kiss" broke the ratings of 4 when it was aired, and "Corner with Love" is already doing good with ony the 1st episode being aired last week. "It Started with a Kiss" is going to be filming their sequel around March or April. "Devil Beside You" starring Mike and Rainie did not have a sequel, but their new drama is considered the closest it gets. Because of the good ratings, there were talks of a sequel for "Corner with Love." Another hot and popular drama, "Hana-Kimi's" ratings are also getting higher and more and more popular. Because of the good reaction, the producers of "Hana-Kimi" were thinking of a sequel as well, but it is still in the process deciding.

I Think Taiwanese Drama has good production and natural .
the most important thing is that it also shows the good /polite manner , no fighting between the actors and good traditional tradition as I have kids so I WANT THEM TO WATCH THE GOOD BEHAVIOR.

Second episode is definitely a sad one for XL.
However, it is a great one nonetheless.
Barbie's acting is super! She cries so sadly...

Some of my favorite scenes:

[spoiler] The part where Barbie and Show met up and Show rode Barbie and she was waving her purse...Too sweet!

The part afterwards where they were both drunk...Hahhaha...Show and Barbie are so kawaii!

The part where Barbie found out that her parents left and everything.
And when Show came, but was too late and he saw her with her fiance. So sad...

I also like the bike scene when Show sang to Barbie while she was crying.

The part where Barbie gave the ring back to her fiance. She was trying to be strong, thus put up a front.

And the piano part...Show is falling in loveeeeeeeeee....

Last but not least, I love the last part. Barbie is so pretty at the engagement party.
I absolutely love her attitude. She is strong and feisty. Way to go to show her fiance and his parents what's up! But I think in the next episode she cries...

This is a wonderful episode. Although it's not as funny as the first one, there are so many great scenes! The storyline so far is really fantastic! You really can't help not to fall in love with the leads and CWL!

I'm so glad to hear that CWL is doing so well! I'd love a sequel! If QL and XL don't get married by the end of the drama, then I hope a wedding for them will happen in the sequel!

I'm about halfway through ep 2 (stupid internet connection! ) but so far so good! :

The ratings were around the same figures (but higher) as last week's, the final rating was slightly higher than of ep 1, the ratings are certainly increasing!

If I'm not mistaken, for an idol drama to be considered a smash hit at the weekend timeslot, it needs to reach abt 5 & above as its considered an easy timeslot compared to the extremely competitive weekday timeslot of 8pm or 9pm. Prince Turned To Frog was shown during weekend time slot & its ratings was 6 & above.

i LOVED the episode again!!!!!! although it's a bit serious than the first epi i think it's so good! barbie's acting is amazing! i cried along with her... seeing xin lei this proud princess struggling to keep her head high is really so sad to watch! everyone deserted her except for qin lang and xi xian! love her friend! such a true friend! qin lang is so sweet! and i love the fact that barbie and show have so much on-screen time together!

[spoiler] after qin lang ate the whole thing up, no one was able to react at what he did, he just simply walked away! hilarious haha!

love the part where xin lei invited him out and wanted to thank him sincerely! he tole her to close her eyes and xin lei didn't want to and qin lang said "did u think i was gonna do something to you?" friends should trust each other! then xl went back and closed her eyes! and ql asked her to describe what he looked like! xl couldn't do so and ql was sad saying "if one is really your friend, you will be able to remeber what he looks like..." awww...ql is hurt.

although sad, love the part where ql raced to xl's house only to find xl and shang dong hugging... and he went back unnoticed...so sad... and he was scolding himself why he had to go there...

love the part where she is telling him to ride faster and ql was saying why xl is so heavy haha!

love love the part where they were drunk hahaha! ql was more drunk than xl hahaha! love the part where he couldn't hold onto the bike anymore and couldn't stand anymore haha!

love the part where he sang to xl and after when xl played that same song on the piano.... awww ql is so touched.

haha love the part where xl was again asking him to be her driver to go to shang dong's engaement party....

love every bit where xl was crying out in aguish and sadness... barbie so gooD!

love the part where xl slapped shang dong and said she didn't love him really. trying to act all strong... her expression there priceless!

love the part where ql chased her to the room and asked her what is the matter with her and she was telling him "aren't u going to buy medicine? im sick! and ql said, "ok, u don't have to get mad!"

when harlem came out, he was really funny hahaha! having a crush on xl haha! [/spoiler]
