"Corner with Love" has only been airing for 2 weeks and it has already caused a war between the fans of "Hana-Kimi." Because the time slots clash, many fans have started to discuss each drama on forums and some have even started to argue. "Hana-Kimi" fans have scolded DaS, saying that she is already 30 yet she is still acting as a young, rich, spoilt girl, whereas "Corner with Love" fans have argued that Ella is 26, and she still plays a student, how disgusting.

"Hana-Kimi's" produder said that DaS's acting is good, but Angie Cai does not want to admit to defeat, as she is already making bets and have told the crew and audience: "We cannot lose!"

why diss DaS and Ella??? i watch both series. i dont reallyy see the reason to go all 'ur drama is goin downn' and alll. i think both series have the equal opportunity of doin well. certainly i favor hanakimi more but i disagree on dissin eachother's drama... and pulling in the two actresses. thats not kool. i know time like thiss.. with two dramas out... and airing towards the same timee is competitive. sighh. well neways... both actress is good ok... i dont want em bein call that way. >.<''

i dunno... they never mentioned xin lei's age in cwl! as in never! is a rich girl not allowed to become old? hehe! besides, barbie doesn't look 30 at all... even some actresses that are younger than her looks so much more mature than her... feel bad that they're bashing barbie coz of the age factor... some people are just so shallow... they don't see that she's such a great actress and she totally pulls off this role!

i never really doubted the success of cwl coz with barbie and show, it's a no-brainer. well in my opinion hehe! coz i think they have that appeal to lots of people across asia. and they have worked hard to achieve their level of success. so i don't mind people saying it's not going to be a success coz i think it already is even before it started hehe!

so 16 episodes of this series? it is based on a manga right? or... uh, anyways, usually it can all fit into 16 episodes. hope the end results would be well!

Will definitely watch CWL. DaS is a very good actress and so is Ella. Both can make me cry. Not many other singer-actress comes close.

I'm pretty sure CWL and BOL are both CTV dramas...I'm not too sure about BOL, but CWL is definitely a CTV drama, but other networks have bought their rights to air it too; I don't know about GTV, but I know for a fact that TTV will start airing CWL from the 20th of this month.
Usually CTV is the prime network for Angie's dramas, while the other networks need to buy their rights to air it's dramas. Dramas produced by Angie are never primarily distributed by GTV, so CWL is definitely a CTV drama...if GTV is also airing it, then it probably bought the rights to air it too. I think CTS is another network which primarily distributes some of Angie's dramas; I think 'Mars' was a CTS one.
GTV's dramas are mostly produced by the Domini company; The Outsiders 1&2, White Robe of Love, etc.

I think it's ridiculous that some people are taking this 'CWL vs HK battle' to extreme measures. Both dramas have their good points. I know that there's bound to be some comparisons, but come on, it can get quite repetitive and irritating. And the dissing on the actresses' age is just immature and simply annoying. It IS call acting. Besides, they don't even look their age! I feel bad for Barbie and Ella being attacked like that for no reason. Ugh. Makes me sick!

The first episode of "Corner With Love", staring Xiao Zhu and Da S, was aired last week and they are already preparing for a sequel?

In just one year, idol dramas has been popular for filming sequels. The ratings for It Started With a Kiss had exceeded 4 and therefore after Chinese New Year, they will be filming a sequel. The sequel will revolve around main characters, Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin's college life as a married couple.

Hana Kimi is currently still the champion of the ratings. The production team is also having thoughts about a sequel. Mike He and Rainie Yang are currently filming Exchange Love (兌換愛), which is like another version of Devil Beside You. Although the storyline is different, the cast is still the same. As with Corner With Love, CTV expressed that the cooperation between Xiao Zhu and Da S helps them with their confidence. Therefore, it is inevitable to film a sequel.

I know what u mean...I haven't heard much comparisons here, but I've come across alot of comparisons from other sites I don't know why those people would waste their time making these sort of comparisons, it's something we just do, but it's not necessary

Both dramas are great and unique in their own ways, though I am obsessed with CWL right now but I also really like HK, and I do think it's a great drama too.
I wish people would stop making these comparisons, but sadly to say it's not quite possible, cuz both are "competing" with each other at the moment, so it's difficult to resist the urge to compare them...and when people do make these sort of comparisons, anything can be argued, including the casts, it's really disappointing that both Barbie and Ella have become the target of these criticisms

Well...It's just rumored. No confirmation whatsoever.
But I've heard that if CWL gets satisfactory ratings, then they'll consider a sequel.

WoW well i have met Show Luo Zhi Xiang in person. He was in Taipei premoting his latest album and i went there with my best friends (we both love him) and we shook his hand and got an hug and a signed album from him....

And now i'm watching CWL to and boy i'm loving it....

well i must admit im not too sure bout CWL but BOL is definately GTV's drama. the drama recently won awards at some Taiwan award show and it was frequently reported as GTV's drama. they even had a celebration for BOL.

anyway about the article comparing Da S and Ella, its best to ignore it. Apple Daily is a tabloid in Taiwan thats known for writing rubbish reports. so no point critising both CWL and Hana Kimi when both dramas are great.

I do agree on that...and at the end of the report, it said that Angie does not admit defeat and even says "we cannot lose"...I have never heard her being this competitive before...she always had this more optimistic view, whenever her dramas don't do well as the others, she would not complain but she would still have faith in her dramas...but in the article, they made her sound alot more competitive, either she really has become alot more competitive, or her part in the article was fabricated.

about the comparisons..... well i think it is really hard to avoid it because they are aired at teh same time slots so competition is there but i dont think HK fans should go dissing da s age ..... i am not saying all fans are and this is just my personal opinion i do like HK as well!! well if people are worried that the ratings wont be fair then if you have 2 tv's in your house turn one on HK and one on CWL then mute the one you dont want to watch .... that way they both get ratings:D:D:D if SETTV will be airing it as well as of the 20th does that mean there will be a lot of promtion for it??? so then SETTV will be 2 eps behind CTV in airing it .... i wonder if the ratings for it will be higher with SETTV...
