Dayo Wong was hilarious in "To Catch the Uncatchable." I loved all his bickering scenes with Ada. I wish that he had a happy ending at the end of the series.

Yeah Dayo's performance in To Catch the Uncatchable is really good. But why must the show have a sad ending....
I saw the alternative ending in K100, it's a happy ending but why can't it be used as the original ending? I'm sure everyone who has seen the series wish for a happy ending and are upset about it.

geee... i muz sae '2 catch d uncatchable' is really successful! the 1st time i watch is last year(dat time my cantonese was not so gd, haf 2 depend on the subtitle(my vcd's subtitle is english) ). den dis year i suddenly rmb got dis show in my house, n i search 4 it. al2gether, i tink i haf watch 4 5times, because i really understand wat dey mean in cantonese w/o depending on the subtitle). from den on, i really crazy over him, n i even download his songs from the internet.

dis show is very humourous. in the show, dayo can b serious, funny, childish(when he wanted the choclate flavour milk), etc. really is a gd show. worth watching.

I think he is quite funny. He reminds me of Tatming. The way they talk and their expressions are very similar in some way!

dayo wong was simply hilarious in 'to catch the uncatchable'! he & ada made a good pair, always easily bickering & then making up as easily. the part when ada throws the weight on him as so dang funny! i laughed till i cried! yep, the ending for 'to catch the uncatchable' was kinda sad.. but i didn't cry though..

this is guy is crazy!!! crazy in a good way!! his versatility is awesome, he can take any roles and act amazing... he turned me a fan with TCTU... last series i saw him in was ATV big adventurer... hope he gets back to TVB and get a series done... a very funny man too!

I don't think Dayo is exactly HOT, especially without long hair (I can't believe he shaved his head), but he is VERY talented. Him bringing his character in TCTU to such a lively peak was what made me cry when he died. It sucks to see such a talented smart and funny person just...die.

Because of the age difference, I liked him with Ada more than him with Dodo.

another funny thing i read in these posts...people keep saying that they like dayo with ada better than carol in war of genders because of the age gap. so weird. if you use the age gap logic, then dayo shld be better with carol because carol is older by 3 years i think but dayo is older than ada by at least 10 years haha.

but of course i like ada better with dayo!

Wong Chi Wah has not film movies for some time, he recently film new movie with Choi Ying Yee, On Chi Kit and the smart kid.

The first part of the movie he has to shoot with the kid, sitting on the staircase soliloquize the show hours,
later he and the kid were dressed in ball game clothing, and in the adjacent Chi Wah has also played a ridiculous son charactor, from time to time with small actor jokes, he was very happy surprises.

Chi Wah will face a goldfish guys, the small actor wearing English team Manchester United through ball game clothing, bringing the kid sitting around him, if I thought he was filming a paedophile, but no final kids appreciate, not long left to find that his son says Chi Wah looked embarrassed.

Dayo Wong to Clear the Name of 'Evil Kin'
Movie "House of Mahjong" held a promotional event in Mongkok yesterday, attended by cast members including Dayo Wong, Sam Li, Candy Lo, Raymond Wong and Elanne, attracting many members of the public.

Dayo will soon begin filming for TVB series "Evil Kin", with Lam Ka Wah playing Kin's traditional arch rival Wong Fei Hung. He says that as his memory of the traditional Evil Kin character is still vivid in his memory, he has no intention of visiting the original actor Uncle Shek Kin to ask for tips, nor will be revisit the films. He smiles: "I even remember in dreams the devious smile of Evil Kin and the biggest dilemma for me is over how to play the role without tarnishing the name of Uncle Kin. I will try to convey this in a way that will justify the actions of Evil Kin and show his more lovable side."

The Evil Kin in this modern rendition will have a girlfriend, but Dayo does not yet know who has been cast in this role. However, his character will not let go of any female, because he is an expert in chatting up the girls and he says that this feels like fun. When the reporters asked if this was because he cannot do it in real life, he smiles: "This is the only reason I act." Dayo says he has looked at the script and he feels that this character is villainous to the bones already. Asked if he is worried he will be beaten up after playing this character, he laughs: "So I am in a quandry, if I don't spoil my image, I cannot play this role, because only by doing this can I be another person and in order to carry off this role, then I can only sacrifice myself."

Dayo Wong Chi Wah, Cecilia Yip Tung, and Lam Ka Wah were at the costume fitting for new TVB series "Evil Kin." Dayo said, "The producer told me to be extremely evil in this series, but I can redeem myself to gain pity later on. It is uncommon for a series to feature an evil character as the main character. Will the audience be able to accept this?"

"I am full of confidence for this series; it will pull in ideal ratings! We celebrated last night already. Cecilia Yip Tung treated."

Reporters asked Cecilia why she treated everyone before filming even started? Cecilia said, "It was not for celebratory purposes, but just a dinner to get to know everyone before filming started. Since it is my first time working with Dayo and Lam Ka Wah, it was an opportunity to get acquainted."

Dayo Wong & Cecilia Yip Film "Evil Kin"
Dayo Wong Chi Wah and Cecilia Yip Tung were filming new TVB series, "Evil Kin" yesterday. In the scene, Dayo's Evil Kin character spit on the public streets, with his spit even landing on Cecilia's clothes! He took the opportunity to insult her character as well.

To match her role, Cecilia had to wear false teeth to make her teeth protrude. The teeth mold was modified 8 times for a perfect fit. On the day of filming, Dayo protested that Cecilia's extreme unattractive appearance made it difficult to concentrate on their romantic scenes together. After some modifications to Cecilia's appearance, her "unattractiveness" was toned down.

Cecilia's husband could not suppress his laughter when he spotted her new image with the protruding teeth. When wearing the teeth mold, Cecilia finds it difficult to enunciate her lines clearly and often has to remind herself to concentrate on her speech during filming.

Working for the first time with Dayo, Cecilia felt that Dayo was a bit cautious, but they should have an agreable partnership together.

Due to his character's bullying ways, Dayo found it quite fun on the first day of filming. Dayo commented, "Hopefully when the first episode is broadcast, we can invite Uncle Sek Kin to watch it together!"

Cecilia's Fake Teeth Makes Painful Kissing Scene for Dayo
Dayo Wong and Cecilia Yip were filming for "Evil Kin" yesterday in a scene that tells of Cecilia knocking into Day during a chase scene and they fall to the ground. Cecilia's buck teeth end up clasping onto Dayo's lips and as they were false teeth, it was quite difficult to control their positioning and as a result, the scene had to filmed several times after some NG's and during the shoot, Cecilia bit Dayo squarely on the right of his lips and this left him crying out in pain as he said: "Don't do it so fast, you will kill me!"

Cecilia spoke of biting Dayo saying that this was needed by the storyline and as she does not have big teeth in real life, she has had to learn to control her false teeth again. She says: "I often can't hold back my laughter, especially when we are filming romantic scenes because as soon as I see Dayo, I just want to laugh. I hope that I will not suffer discrimination because of this set of false teeth! (Have you cleaned the teeth?) The doctor says it is not necessary." Cecilia will become beautiful at the end of the show, but there are plenty of buck-tooth scenes at the beginning and to present her best buck-tooth look to the viewers, she will practise smiling with her false teeth at home.

Dayo indicates he has never kissed a buck-toothed girl before and although Cecilia's teeth are at a 'grade 8' level, he has no complaints and smiles: "This is not a forced kiss, more like a forced peck. I remember once I was bitten on the arm by Helena Law and although she was already holding back, the experience has been deeply engrained in my mind and my arm, so I hope this will not happen next time." As for how he felt after this scene, he says: "Apart from the pain, I have no other feeling and although it was very painful then, I was quickly numbed! However, she managed to control the strength and she is now a master in thet toothy arts. (Cecilia says she has not cleaned the teeth?) If she is brave enough to wear them, then I am brave enough to be pecked by them."

Dayo Hands Out Kisses for Valentines Day
Dayo Wong, Cecilia Yip, Lam Ka Wah and Vivien Yeo were among the cast members who took part in the studio blessing ceremony for new series "Evil Kin" yesterday. As it also happened to be Valentines Day, the producer Lam Chi Wah asked Dayo to give all the girls a kiss and at first Dayo was a little hesitant, but after a short deliveration, he kissed each of the ladies on the hand. Then when Wong Chun Tong presented him with the pig head to kiss, he made him very embarrassed.

Cecilia has only been resting for four or five hours per day after starting filming on this series, so she has not had time to clean up or buy anything for the new year. Talking about her character, she says it is very cute abd sometimes she laughs so hard that she has to take a break. However, she is full of praises for Dayo's creativity and she is getting used to the last minute changes in the script that makes it hard for her to keep up. Although she has to work on Valentines Day, she has already received a gift from her husband. She says: "When I returned home this morning, there was a present on my bed. I was very happy and it was so sweet."

With Cecilia's comment about being unable to keep up with Dayo on the scripts, he says: "I have given her copies of the scripts and she is very smart and can learn a whole page after one runthrough. (Has the producer complained?) The script is already very good, so I just changed a little and it is only once in a while." He also says that the other cast members have been affected by him and are not learning their lines and choosing to improvise instead. As for the reports that he is falling out with Cecilia, he says: "How would we? I have never fallen out with any other cast member. (The reports suggest that Cecilia is being a diva?) I don't think so, if they are talking about having meals, then she is definitely the big sister because she has paid for many meals and she is very serious about her work." As for whether he will be finishing early for Valentines Day, Dayo laughs: "I did not have this concept at all. (Has your girlfriend complained?) I am saving money every day! I have been working, so I will buy her a present after this has finished filming." Dayo also reveals that when he was filming a scene where he was feeding a dog earlier he was bitten on the finger by the dog, but he is fine now.

Dayo Wong Admits his Crying Look is Terrible
Dayo Wong, Cecilia Yip and Vivien Yeo were filming in the Lam Tin Quarry yesterday in a scene for "Evil Kin" where Dayo's character was being sentenced to death and the villagers were allowed to vote as to whether he was to be shot, burned or hanged. Finally Vivien emerges as Dayo's witness and reveals that he did not commit murder, rescuing him from the doors of hell.

Although he does not die in the end, Dayo still has to film some crying scenes and he describes himself as teary eyed and runny nosed and laughs: "When I cry there is trouble, because I have more snot that tears on a ratio of ten drips of snot to one drip of tears. My nose even runs when I eat, but fortunately it is only a little damp and not too thick. So I always carry tissues around with me and it is even worse when I eat spicy food because it makes me look terrible. (What you describe makes you sound like a drug addict?) I don't know what drug addicts are like, but 'Ten Brothers' can add some big nostrils for me."

Cecilia indicates that she will be filming another series in Shanghai in April, so she hopes that "Evil Kin' will finish filming soon. She says: "Although I have planned to film this until mid-April, the producer has agreed to rush through my scenes, but the script has been released behind schedule. Maybe because this is a comedy, they have to change the lines over and over again, but the time is getting shorter and shorter, so I am a little worried." Asked if Dayo keeps changing the script, Cecilia says avoidingly: "Everyone is very absorbed in their characters, so they will portray their role in their own way. It is not about stealing the attention, but giving out for the series, especially the younger generation, I feel that they are very hardworking. (Are you worried about this slowing things down?) I am very experienced and the bones of the story are not being changed. (Have you told Dayo that you are in a rush?) I have told him before we started filming and I don't need to keep mentioning it. He is amazing though and has an excellent memory, so even when the scripts are released at the last minute, he has very few NG's and I really admire him."

Also, Vivien who plays Cecilia's sister in the show had an unusual appearance in the scene, where she wore a covered birdcage. It turns out that the character suffers from autism and is very afraid of seeing other people, so she has to wear the birdcage. After rescuing Dayo, he in turn helps to cure her condition.

Dayo Wong Feels Sorry for Sonija
Dayo Wong and Cecilia Yip were filming a fire scene for new series "Evil Kin" yesterday in a scene that tells of the room catching fire after a fight. As they were filming in an enclosed space, but the cast and crew found it difficult to breathe during the shoot and after the scene finished, they quickly put the fans on the clear the smoke. Dayo says that he was worried a little about the danger because as the saying goes 'Punches and Kicks have no feelings and Water and Fire have no eyes'. He adds: "I have done everything possible for this series, so I should finally have a representative piece. (Have you taken insurance?) Yes, but I don't know how much it is and I don't want to have to use it."

Recent reports have linked Sonija Kwok with the breakdown of Michael Tao's marriage and having worked with Sonija in his film "Fighting to Survive" and they had rumours together then. Does he believe that Sonija is the third person? He says that he will not comment on things that do not concern him. Was he captivated by Sonija in those days? He says that he was playing a rather strange character at the time and there were no emotional ties between their characters, so there was no chance of any chemistry. He does feel sorry for Sonija being accused in this way though.

Yesterday was Cecilia's last day of filming and she can head out to Shanghai on time before Easter to film a mainland series. Although she was suffering from a fever earlier, she is fine now.

Dayo Wong Slips Over and Over Again
Dayo Wong, Benz Hui and Vivien Yeo were filming the final scene for TVB series "Evil Kin" and this was a touching moment for Dayo, who has endured a lot for this series. First he was faced with being bitten by a dog, then he was stabbed by nails and hit by thunder. Most recently, he was filming a rainy escape scene where he had to slip and fall over again and again.

Dayo says that it was not the water from the sprayer that had caused the ground to be wet: "That night we were filming a chase scene on Mo Sing Leng and it was actually raining very hard which was quite atmospheric, so we filmed it quickly. However, after a few attempts at the slipping, my backside was hurting so much, but it was worth it because I have great expectations for this series. Although Dayo's bottom was injured, his football scene yesterday was still easy: "I do not know how to kick a ball at all, but I have a natural talent for sport and I can strike the right pose."

His series with Cecilia is coming out soon! Can't wait to watch, I hope it'll have some similar cast from To Catch The Uncatchable and War of Genders. I really hope Cheung Chi Kwong is in there, I really like watching him in funny series
