gosh.. so busy for the past few days..

What's keeping you busy nowadays? Heechul is still sick. I think so. Anything new with Hangeng. Do you know what shows they've been through? I've only watched Netease, Strictly something something, Superstar, and some fancams. Do you mind giving me a list of what you've watched? Or possibly just mention some shows with subs? I can't understand MANDARIN!!!

and about the girls, there aren't that many who interact with Geng that much (at least publicly) so the options are very limited. but i think liyin fits his descriptions of his ideal girl the most so who knows...but i still like SiHan better haha!!!

it was during SJ's debut period when he couldn't show his face in certain korean tv stations due to his visa problems so he had to hide his face in order to keep performing with the group. it was really sad actually

yeah, i was also super excited and curious when i found out that there was a chinese member in SJ but i first thought it was Siwon cuz i saw some pics of him dressed in ancient Chinese costumes in the movie Battle of Wits haha!!!

Its either HanChul & ShiBum or ShiHan & KiChul or ShiChul or HanBum (lol now im confused with all the switching) I think Geng is close to Kibum too, it just that we rarely see them together these days.

Guess the reason is because I think geng gege is one of the cutest Chinese guys ever hehe
and I was super excited to see pics of jaejoong and hankyung together. My two favorites from dbsk and suju. The hanjoong thread said they are good friends I think.

I didnt believe it too until miss_scarlet posted the news article. He actually fainted in the hotel room not the rest room. Get well soon Gege!! You have to be healthy. You still have to be the Torch Bearer for the Olympics on August 7-8?! Oh gosh i hope his company will give him at least 1 week to rest and exercise before the BIG event. i dont want him to overexert himself during the Marathon. thanks for the pics btw!

ooopps sorry i confused you with my answer what i mean was SJ-M is co-endorsing that clothing line with Show Luo. As for the concert that i said they collaborated that was back in January for that Korea to Taiwan friendship event and they also had a photo-op back in June 2007 for the Golden Melody Awards..

GREAT NEWS!

It's finally been confirmed!!!! Geng is going to play the leading role in CCTV's upcoming drama 青春舞台 /qing chun wu tai/ (literal translation: Stage of Youth). The character is named 夏磊 /xià lěi/. It's going to be a 12-episode drama~

The confirmation came from the official blog of the 假日剧 /Jia ri ju/ (Holiday drama). 青春舞台 is going to be CCTV's third holiday drama. The 2 previous dramas were 梦想人间 /meng xiang ren jian/ that aired during the Chinese New Year period in 2006, and also Kangta's 丁家有女喜洋洋 /ding jia you nü xi yang yang/ in November of 2007.

description of Geng's character in the blog entry:
夏磊：一个热爱跳舞的阳光大男孩，父亲是顶级射箭运动员，曾因夏磊的母亲去世与上一届奥运会失之交臂，父亲希望夏磊能继承衣钵，但夏磊只喜欢跳舞，在经历了与父辈的矛盾、重重的自我挑战、不懈的努力后，终于实现了自我升华，成就了生命的精彩，成长为新一代舞蹈巨星。
(rough translation: Xia Lei: a young man who loves to dance, his dad is a top notched archery athlete, because of the death of Xia Lei's mom and also a missed opportunity in the last Olympic, his dad wish Xia Lei to follow his footsteps [follow dad's dream to become an outstanding athlete to enter the Olympics). However Xia Lei only likes to dance, after going through dad's objections, challenges after challenges, & with persistence, he finally raises to a higher level, achieves brilliance, & become the new generation's dancing star.

Other cast members & small description:
张峻宁 /zhang jun nin/ as 丁笑 /ding xiao/: Xia Lei's rival, but will join forces later & defeat skilled dancer(s) from Korea (after reading the description a few times, I think they meant they were challenged to a dancing contest(?) by Korean dancer(s) & won at the end.
关智斌 Kenny Kwan as 阿呸 /a pei/: Xia Lei's best buddy
TBA as 田会会 /tian hui hui/: Xia Lei's childhood friend, a student of Xia Lei's dad, an archer athlete, but had a brain injury damaging her visions in an incident when she tried to stop Xia Lei from participating in a car race. After being disqualified from being on the team training for Olympics, she continued to practice with the blurred vision & master the skill of being able to "listen to the wind" (LOL I don't know how to translate this one, archery is not my thing). She got back into the Olympics team.
TBA as 申真依 & 申真慧: Korean sisters, younger sister is a famous manager for dancer(s), coming to China to find the next star & discovered both Xia Lei & Ding Xiao. Older sister is another archery athlete, coming to China to amiliarize herself with the stadiums & etc, & finds her best rival to be Tian huihui, but offers support nevertheless. yada yada. btw, their dad is Xia Lei's dad's old buddy and rival in archery as well.
p.s.: TBA stands for to be announced. I think one of the female characters is going to be played by 容祖儿 (Joey Yung), from a 张峻宁 interview. ALSO, this is a uber rough translation to just get the gist of the characters & the story.

lastly, Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ I've been waiting for this to become official since the first time I read about the rumors of somebody working at CCTV having seen the contract with Geng's name on it. So happy that it's coming true~!! Next item on my wish list is for Siwon and Geng to be acting in a drama together. *fingers crossed*

yeah its gonna be aired in China thru CCTV but there is no OFFICIAL announcement yet so im kinda doubting this.
