yeah, Hannie can definitely pass off as a korean when he doesn't speak because the first time i saw super junior and found out there was a chinese in the group, i tried to guess who it was but when i looked at Hannie, i thought "no, it's definitely not this one, he's korean for sure" lol!!! i think his hairstyle back then during the U days made him look more korean. now that he has black hair he does look more chinese haha.

The filming has ended already right? I didn't even know hannie was a chinese member in the first place if i didn't read about him before i saw full house! But with his black hair cut short now, he definitely looks chinese to me. During the 'U' days, everyone had like black hair and had similar types of hairstyles, so it was hard to tell who isn't korean and who is. I actually thought donghae was the chinese member initially I've never seen hannie dance a simple dance yettt!

Oh did you see a very long ago video of hannie packing to go back to china? At that time he and heenim shared this small apartment in a hostel. If you realise, heenim only praised hannie so far! But in this award SJM won Best Group against Fahrenheit, SHE & Bobo (this im not sure) In CCTV-MTV they won best mainland group. Actually there are a handful of new & emerging boybands now in China like Top Combine. In a recent poll for Hunan TV New Year's Special SJm & Top Combine were fighting for the votes as to who the fans want to participate in 2009 New Year's Special (i think this is CNY). A few days ago news came out that SJM is confirmed to perform for this CNY Event.

yeah i did watched it but i think Geng was just a bit nervous since the interview was conducted just half an hour before SS in Shanghai started. It could also be that he wants the other members to be in the spotlight though he's the most fluent in Mandarin. I totally loved that part, Heechul joined in patting him even if he's a person away hahaha Hanchul just can't be stopped...lol

wow, this thread has been so quiet lately! where did everyone go to again? i guess it's because everyone is on their exam periods now? well, i've just finished my exams and right now i'm going to a lot of job interviews for an internship, which is quite nerve wrecking, so yeah...not that much time to come here either. but i still check this thread whenever i can.


that is so true, hannie is the only one that heenim keeps on praising and mentioning. he must really love hannie a lot. but hannie on the other hand, doesn't mention much about chullie even when ppl specifically ask him about it. poor heechul, he's suffering from a one sided love! not to mention that siwon seems to be stealing hannie away from him ever since SJM debuted haha!!! just kidding...i'm pretty sure hannie loves chullie a lot too, he just doesn't say it out loud that much.

i thought this one was a lot cooler than the previous one cuz it shows more of hannie's dance scenes, which are pure hotness! and SJM makes a cameo appearance at some point

^ i know, the newest SOY preview is full of Geng! Its like he's the main lead or something. Glad the news of the SJM boys making a cameo was indeed true. I have the same assumption too, giving the limelight to leadershii. Throughout the interview, they focus more on the rest of the members while the SJM boys were only asked during the latter pat. I guess its to have the other members share the limelight.

I also find it weird that Heenim is openly talking about Geng on his CY even on his TV appearances but Geng rarely does. During the CCTV-MTV awards interview, a reporter brought up Heechul's CY entry about him missing Geng, he chuckled and instead of answering he passed the mike to Shiwon. but during the taping of an interview (i think it was face to face back in July/June) when fans asked how Heechul was doing post the removal of his iron rod and he said that Heechul was doing fine. On his one on one interview for that show, he was asked who helped him the most in Korea he mentioned Kang Ho Dong & Heenim. Unfortunately during the broadcast they edited that part and only KHD was shown... He's prolly not that comfy talking about his close friend but im sure Heenim doesnt mind.

With the Holiday Breaks coming, i hope more & more Geng fans will post. Its been lonely by myself here for the past days. Glad you & Sharm are back.

Hannie really dances ALOT in this show. It's so cool how hankyung's shown first! Totally the lead actor. He's character in the show is 'Xia something'. Anyone has any idea? Basically, the show is about how hannie wants to become a great dancer cause he really loves it, and the girl he likes (i think?) has been practising archery for many years but has never hit the bulls eye before, so she tries very hard to. I'll translate some of hannie's narrations from the promotional clip(:

"I hope to be able to perform in front of many people, more than 10 000 000 people."
"I would like to become an all rounder star."
"We have to share both happy and sad happenings with each other."(i think he really likes the girl alot in the show)
"I'll never come back home!" (His dad forbids him to dance or something)

Anyway, i'll definitely watch this show for hannie's amazing dance moves! If you realise, hannie speaking chinese is slightly different from the other actors/actresses in the drama? He has this really strong accent at the end of every speech. I don't know, it just sounds weird to me.

However on YSMM, he did say that he told his parents that he has a very good friend called heenim so i think that's good enough! Siwon and hannie have been really close from the beginning(:

The CCTV-MTV one was really awesome, i saw it! The host was asking who the audience think would win and you can hear 'Fahrenheit!' and 'SJM!', i thought i heard more of 'fahrenheit!' being called out though, but I was already expecting SJM to win anyway. Do you know that SJM's faces will be on china stamps? I saw an example with hannie's face printed on. It's so cool! The whole of china will know them as long as they buy stamps. Them surpassing fahrenheit and S.H.E totally proves their potential to break into other markets as well. I head there's a new band A-one coming up, and they say their target is to be better than SJM or something. Looks like they're going to face some competition! But if they're going to compare dance, hannie will take care of it(: I was expecting heenim to pat him cause as long as there's hannie, he won't keep quiet! Yup i guess he was really nervous, he's so serious it's scary. If teuk was like that i wouldn't have like him as my fav member haha.

Its totally awesome that they're winning awards left & right. Yeah i heard about that new group vowing that they'll overtake SJM... i cant say if they'll be better than SJM but i know its not good to do such gimmicks... look what happened to that boyband who said they'll be more popular that Suju? Its such an honor to be included that stamp project and its all for a good cause. Too bad i cant buy that stamp at least i have something beautiful to look forward to....

Yes i'm mixed up, gahhh whatever it doesn't matter, i just need to know that they won groups like fahrenheit and S.H.E Oh! Hannie will be performing on the piano *again* at SJM's white day party in Shanghai! I can't wait to see his improvement, cause when he performed on SJM's 100 day anniversary he made some mistakes. But thank goodness they were minor ones, and wook's voice covered it up. Well i don't think A-one will be better than SJM. Firstly, the boys in SJM have been trainees much longer and they're training is also much tougher i bet. I think after SOY, hannie will be approached to do CFs. yeah, i know what you mean about his features looking more delicate from the side view. i always find that Geng's front view looks older than he actually is. of course, that doesn't mean he looks bad, he's handsome anyway but i just find that his side view makes him look younger.

SJM receiving the award was well deserved cuz they are obviously better than groups like Fahrenheit and SHE. i don't think Fahrenheit is talented enough, they are just overrated because of their looks (only Wu Zun in my opinion cuz i don't find the other 3 very attractive) and SHE are good singers but i find them annoying, especially Ella. so i'm glad mainland China did them justice. but the other 2 groups are still more popular in Taiwan and HK though.

i checked that group who said they wanted to surpass SJM. they're alright i guess...but very typical. there are too many boybands emerging in China now, it's starting to get annoying just like what's happening in Korea. honestly, i'm having a hard time now trying to figure out who is who. i guess one advantage of SJM is that they came out first so people will always remember them better. and of course, they have something special that makes them stand out. so if other boybands wanna surpass them, they'd better be more original and that's going to be hard.

I just realised something! Hannie has got really slender fingers *gasps* Yup it was mentioned in an article about SJM White Day that hannie will be playing the piano! I was really satisfied with his piano performance though. Firstly, i didn't know he could play the piano like that. Secondly, i only thought he could only speak well and dance well The photobook is expensive though.

Oh okay so it's confirmed there are 12 episodes, relatively short. Shorter than i expected. But if there were more episodes, hannie would be missing from SJM activities even more, and that isnt't good cause i don't want to see the other members looking so bored. pr3tchie - you are really similar to me! i started liking hannie through the exact same shows and for the exact same reasons lol!!! i wasn't very attracted by Geng in the beginning either. my 1st favorite was actually heechul. but that was when i only watched their U mv and saw one live performance from them, i didn't even know the members well yet. then i started watching FH and hannie was just so cute i totally fell for him. but to be honest, i didn't like his hair style during the FH days. he only started to look hot after Don't Don and kept looking better and better ever since. i think he looks his best right now with the black hair. but really, what i love the most is his personality. he's someone that i can say i truly love for who he is, not just because of the looks.

Well i just watched the boys in city season2 dvd abd it's quite nice, but there aren't many hannie moments in it. And i was expecting alot of hanchul since it's been a long time they've been together cause hannie's in china and chulie's in korea. Like pushing the cart thingy. Kyu and hannie. I think they got closer cause of SJM. I was hoping hannie will push chul or vice versa. But it's good to see everyone still close to each other The chinese drama will be nice because hannie dances alot in it and everyone will want to watch his sleek moves. His style of dancing is very different from hae and hyuk.

pr3tchie - it's funny how i just heard of that "50 Most Beautiful People in China" list and thought that it would be cool if Hangeng was included in it. then i go check the list and...surprise!!! he really made it! although he definitely deserves to be in it, i was surprised to see that he was included at #33 because he's still somehow new in the chinese entertainment industry and the list is comprised of mega superstars like Zhang Ziyi, Andy Lau, etc. so that really is something!
and yeah his pelvic thrust in Don't Don was the sexiest thing ever!!! no one does it better than him!!! i couldn't even believe it was him the first time i saw it cuz i was so used to his cute, innocent image in FH. that was the first time i realized how sexy he was!!!

^ i was so surprised that he was included having been active in China for less than a year. and to be amongst the superstars is really something... heck he even topped Nic Tse. Takeshi Kaneshiro... I love the judging criteria on how the celebs got chosen.

hae does popping, hyuk does his own style, hankyung does like his own style too! He mixes some chinese traditional dance moves in too. A little only. All those flexible moves you see, were probably slight improvisations from the chinese dances. I still find it amazing how he can memorize all 56 dances. I totally loved the dance battle in Super Show! And omgg hannie dancing to sexy back was awesome I think hannie can be a model. He has this charismatic look, like in 'Don't Don'. Plus he has the height too, and a good figure. It's not wushu skill, it's taekwondo and something like judo. He and sungmin can fly in the air! Cool

And kyu said he wants to be hannie if he were to choose amongst the 7 members right? Honestly, i like hannie's eagle hair in don't don! I thought it suits him alot. Oh i didn't really enjoy his feature in timeless MV. He looked weird dressed up like a policemen in my opinion.

I don't get to meet asian celebs often, they go to all the asian countries except SG cause it's small here I'm sure hannie has heard there are fans in canada before! Sharm: Thats why im so proud of Geng. He is gaining more popularity in his homeland for himself & Super Junior / SJM. Yeah i finally received my copy of BIC (just 5 days before Christmas ) & yeah theres less Hannie screen time but i kinda understand because they did the photoshoot in between his filming for Stage of Youth back in Oct.
I didn't even see a single Hanchul moment *sigh* but lotsa SiHan & Kanghan lol. I always thought that its impossible to even imagine Kang In & Han Geng being close at all but since ive been reading beautiful fan fics lately, im no longer doubting the chance. Even back in FH, aside from Heechul, Kangin always picks on / teases Geng, which is cute..

Oh i just read a fan account of SJM's activities in HK, one fan asked if they're are gonna visit SG and Geng said they will soon. So girl, there's a chance for you to meet the boys.. im sooo envious, times like this, i hate the fact that im in California

Well it's all thanks to a LJK fan from SG. She was so daring, she went up to hannie and started talking to him! Other girls went to but got chased away by hannie's manager. However, this LJK fan's in her 20s and she wasn't a crazy fangirl so his manager started talking to her, and let her talk to hannie as well! She told the manager that there were many fans in SG and asked if they would be coming, and hannie said that he'll see her in SG. So sweet right! So now i'm really believing that SJM is gonna to come here I will definitely go to see them, and takes lots of pictures!

Eh so hannie didn't do the photoshoot together with his members? Just like kibum right? Yes i keep seeing kanghan alot! If heenim doesn't do something soon, kanghan and sihan are gonna be my fav hannie couples Well in FH, heenim was more busy teasing anya so he had no time for hannie.

^ the LJK fan encounter was months ago, someone in SJM thread posted a fan account of their fan signing event from yesterday. I think they asked Geng when will they visit SG, which he replied next month (?) Anyway, im really hoping they'll visit your country so you can see them in person. Hopefully, when they do received a great response then they could bring the rest of the Korean members. (your chance to see Teukie! )

Geng had a chance to do some photoshoots with the rest of the boys but i think, he left early like Kangin (prolly from his film schedules,) and Siwon & Kyu (who had to go to Thailand that time to shoot for a CF). To me it was a bit random that the four did a set of shoot together, the 4 tallest guys of SJ hehehe
