Let's have a discussion about the TVB MVs, but not on the song or singing. I'm talking more about the MV itself rather than the music.

On a brief look, it seems like most of the MVs are boring, but I will make a better judgment once I actually watch later.

they all look cheap and boring.. i didn't bother finishing any of it..

look wise.. i think sharon, bernice & charmaine looks the best in theirs..

set wise.. viviens got the best one.. at least she has pretty trees

but ah, it isn't really that surprising considering that this IS TVB. i don't like miriam's MV; it's just so...weird. don't know what it's about at the first place. myolie's is boring; i wish they could at least show some scenes from WAD (though it will not make any difference to its 'badness', but i'm so curious to see a bit of WAD!). bernice's and vivien's MVs aren't that bad though.

I think Miriam's MV was about a group of successful career women who gathered together to talk about their love lives. I think the implication is that their successful career ruined their love lives. This was shown when each women held up a sign with a number on it, which I'm guessing is referring to how long they haven't been in a relationship.

I thought all the MV were bad. I didn't like any of them. They were really cheap looking.

I did not like Myolie''s hair or her outfits in her MV.

Charmaine looked pretty, but her MV was blah. It was boring. And her outfit was kind of ugly looking too.

I think the best looking one was Vivien's.

Stephy had one of the worst MVs. Her's and Sharon's. Doesn't help that Sharon can't really sing.

I think besides being cheap, most of the outfits the singers wore were really ugly. TVB is just cheap.

They look al weird. But I like the Songs.

their MV are nothing but just footages from the series and the singers are just either standing in one place or sitting down...i dont kno but the MV seem kina cheap with the background and the surroundings though...

Personally, I liked Myolie's video the best. Followed by Linda and Charmine's. The reason being that its been a while since I've seen a video where the singer is the only person in the video. Myolie's was the only one where she is by herself. Linda and Charmaine's had some clips added into them which made it less "one person."

I personally liked Myolie's video the most because shooting a video is like acting. You're supposed to act out the story in the song as Bernice and Vivien did. But, as the only person in a video, its harder to act out the meaning. I think Myolie did a great job in conveying the meaning of the song with the sad faces (which were convincing) and the recorded song itself alreay has the feeling of sadness. Myolie nailed the meaning of her song through her voice and acting.

Linda and Charmanie also did good jobs with their emotions. I liked the emotions of "power" at this one point in Charmaine's video. There were moments of sadness that weren't as great as the "power" moment but were acceptable.

Overall the videos do look cheap. The chair Myolie was sitting on looked like the chair they used at Joey's shoot of "Something About You."

Charmaine's video was the cheapest. LOL. It looked like she just filmed for 5 different angles and then TVB just ran it in the REPEAT function. And what's with all the red??? I know that it's the color of the CD, but still, must it fill up the WHOLE screen???

Myolie's was so weird. What's with the costumes???

Stephy and Kary's, Miriam's, Vivien's and Sharon's was just like a regular TVB MV. Some props/extras moving around; artist sings in the middle.

Bernice looked really weird in her first song. The make-up made her look like a completely different person. The second one was better. Outfit-wise, and also, the little girl in it was SO cute!!!

Linda was the filmed the prettiest out of all of them. Her MV made her look like she was in a commercial. The white really suits her.

I thought the Into thing air mv was horrible bernice showed no emotion during most of the MV, I was expecting to see clips from the series but instead well you know what you saw.

i think vivien's MV don't blame him is the best..she sing and acted in the mv so natural and touching..maybe she used to film a lot of MV before..remind me of stephanie sun yan zi..

Err... all the MVs were kinda boring so I didn't finish any of them... If I had to pick a favourite I'd pick Vivien Yeo's... Cos I liked the song lol... Did Ron Ng release that song ages ago? Was that really Vivien singing? Wow.. I thought the singing was impressive... and I remember watching Sunshine Heartbeat when Vivien's chinese wasn't v. fluent... she sounded pretty good.

Myolie's MV was kinda strange... I watched like... 10 seconds of it lol What's with the hair? I watched a few seconds of Charmaine's as well.... Which was also like wise as boring

In Linda's MV... to me she seemed kinda fake.. Yer, she looked quite nice in the white and all, but it was like she was starring in some kind of commericial.

Bernice looked alright in her MV... Her eyes were black and smoky - reminded me of some kinda rock chick lol But I personally don't think she's very good at singing...

those mv look soo cheap.. look like TVB dont even want to spend decent money on those mv..

i think the videos were made in such a hurry...it's not up to expectations...well u can't get too much...personally i feel viven's mv is da best

Cheap doesn't neccessarily means bad. I think all of the MVs were okay, but the best I think were Vivien's and Miriams.

As for who looked the best, I think Charmaine, Miriam, and Bernice looked the best. Linda was okay in her MV.

As for most natural, I think all of them were doing okay and it's hard to compare 'cause some had scenes and some didn't.

ALL THE MVs r quite boring...bernice's mv is ok..i think vivien's mv is the best..but i prefer 2 watch them acting rather than singing..

I agree that all the MVs seemed to be done in a rush, there weren't much differences in each MV, either just solo standing around doing nothing or some other boring stuff. Didn't really like any MVs, I'd rather just listen to it.

Isn't it weird that Miriam is eating and chatting to the girls WHILE singing? I found it weird.

Yeah, they only have ONE scene, them on sofa/glasses, and then the screencaptures of the series. Pretty bad, but oh well, they aren't proffesional singers that are gonna realease many many albums or something anyway. Bernice's Truth and Breakup is the best IMO.

I didn't bother watching Vivien's, i dont like the song in the first palce, replica, not even the remix.

I agree that most MVs are boring. It's better to more scenes like having more artists act in the MVs than just one person singing the song.

I loved Linda's and vivian's. Linda looked really good in white and her face looked so serene and beautiful. And her singing is pretty good. Vivian's mv was really good and the song was sung really well. I couldn't believe she improved her accent so much since sunshine heartbeat. Charmaine's singing was really good but the mv sucked because it was just plain shootings from a few directions and some clips from Dance of passion. Stephy and Kary's singing was wonderful as usual and the mv was okay. Both of Bernice's mv were really nice. Myolie's i didn't like the hair style with the white costume but the singing is really good. Sharon don't know what to say it's not the best didn't like the low pitch but it was still sung pretty well. Maybe the song required her to sing that deep.

I personally think that the MV's are ok... very simple, without obvious storylines.. but i like what most of them are wearing especailly Linda, Charmaine and Vivian. But i'm not too sure bout Myolie's hair, looks funny!!

the mv looks really plain for most of the songs... but all of the ladies look beatiful. plus all the songs are pretty good... so it's good.

out of all the mv's i like stephy and kary's duet one. linda and charmaine look so pretty in their mvs, and myolie looks a little odd (like everyone has mentioned) in hers.

Miriam-I like the song... but the mv itself... i dunno... just didnt like it at all.

Linda-My FAVORITE MV out of them all. I REALLY love this song and she looked really pretty in the mv. Also... the scenes from that series are good. Anyone know what series it is? Since i wanna watch it.

i thought that the MVs for All About Women were also boring.. =.=.. they weren't actually doing much really.. but i thought that Bernice, Linda and Myolie's MVs would be considered the best.. Bernice's "Break-up" was the only one which had a storyline i think.. Myolie didn't look good with that hair and white dress.. but the one where she was sitting on the couch, i thought she looked good.. just didn't know what dat black thing was doing around her head.. also.. i realised that all the MV's didn't have the lyrics at the bottom like TVB usually does.. i'd say that TVB was being a lil cheapo here..

the series that was in linda's MV was "searching for the chronicles of god" or "sau sun kei." there is a thread for it somewhere... i think it's int he ancient section of the forum

The best singer in the Lady in Red album has got to be Miriam! She's the only one i think sings with strong and powerful vocals...I also think her song is the best and her MV rocks! I like the part when she eating the cookie...lol..haha...She has the best mv out of all the people in the album...

Blah I didn't like the mvs. They were sort of weird? I found most of the songs okay. When I hit Charmaine's song, I moved on. ;

i agree that that MVs were cheap but there were some that i quite liked, especially Linda's one, even though it was simple i still liked it, and i like her hairstyle and the dress she wore was very pretty, plus her voice is pretty good as well, i liked Myolie's song but as for the MV i didn't really like it and her hair was horrible, no offence. and the song with Stephy and Kary was really good, and i liked the MV for it as wellz =D

Usually, a MV is suppose to represent the song, but some of the MVs have nothing to do with the song. Personally, the one that makes the most sense is Bernice's song. The song is call break up and you could actually see that she was breaking up with her boyfriend.

Even if the MV has nothing to do with the song, they should at least show some clip of the series. The MV that makes no sense is Myolie's. I mean I like the song, but the MV was really weird. I don't understand what the MV is suppose to mean. Especially the part where she's sitting and holding the mask. I got confused.

I didn't like most of the MVs, they were all pretty boring... out of the ones that I've seen so far, I'd have to say that I like Bernice's "Breakup" MV the best. It actually had a storyline and it was related to the song.. Bernice also looked really pretty in there. I liked Vivien's MV too, like Bernice's it had a storyline.

As for Linda's MV... it was nicely done, I liked how they put in scenes from Linda's new series with Sunny and Benny. That was probably the best part of the MV The rest of it, with closeups of Linda.. it wasn't too exciting (even though Linda looked fantastic, I'd have to say!) and I didn't see how it related to the song at all.

Although I love Myolie's song, I can't help but admit that her MV was the worst one out of the bunch. Hers was beyond boring.. I hated the different costumes and hairstyles that they put her in. And what was the whole mask thing about? Watching her MV made me have a headache I wish they could've come up with a better MV for Myolie because her song is one of the best on the album.

Charmaine's MV was mediocre, the scenes from Dance of Passion that were interspersed with the MV were a nice touch. Yet I thought that the shots of Charmaine singing were kinda strange because Charmaine's pose when singing seems so fake.. I don't know how to describe it but Charmaine just seems really robotic in the MV. She looks like she's posing for a photo shoot instead of singing.

Overall, best MV - Bernice's "Breakup" with Vivien's "Don't Blame Him" coming a close second. Worst MV - Myolie's hands down! I don't know what TVB was thinking..

I personally liked Linda Chung's video the best. I am NOT being biased here.. I have no real preference for any of the girls. It's just she looked the most natural in her video. With the dress and the hair it gave her an innocent look.. the subtle gestures she does really captures the essence of her song.

Miriams MV made me like the song, I actually hated the song but after I watched the MV i started to like the song I know I'm wierd.. I prefer MVs with stories than the ones where they just film the singer standing on one spot

I watched them all and i have to say the MV's are pointless and they don't even have the subtitles on them which i find kind of annoying. The songs are ok and some of the preview or the series is not bad but overall its just very cheesy and boring. I guess TVB didn't want to spend to much money filming the MV's.

myolie & linda's songs were good but their MVs were horrible. i thought bernice and kary and stephy's MVs were all pretty good however.

seriously...all the mvs were cheap. that's the truth, i mean I like some of the songs (miriiam's and stephy's) but it doesn't excuse how cheaply it was made. I mean stephy's it didn't even have to be her where she made the mv she could hvave been ANYONE that setting was not nice looking or anything. Miriam's was wack least the colors(I think that's the color standard in China/Hk) but still it's just i get the song but the MV doesn't really portray that well at all. I mean they're gonna do a big album they should definitely spend a little more money I mean really it's sad.
