Episode 1/30
Because of ill health, Wang Yuting wishes to hand over the Royal Court Hotel to Qiye and Qizhi, his two sons with his deceased first wife. The problem is that Qiye and Qizhi do not get along, and this has led to a decline in business. This leads Yuting to link a deal with a hotel tycoon, Gao Feng. Meanwhile, Qijie, Yuting's son with his second wife, Yun, is always quarelling with his father. He wakes up from a drunken stupor one day to learn that Yuting has died.

Episode 2/30
Qiye and Qizhi fight over their inheritance and even drive Yun out of the family home. Meanwhile, Feng takes over as chief executive of the hotel. Although Feng quickly ressolves many crisies, Qizhi asks Becky, the hotel's communications manager to find out all she can about Feng. But Qijie, who has a lot of pent-up anger towards his father anf half-brothers, finds himself admiring Feng. He joins the board of directors to prevent Qizhi from initiating a reconstruction project.

Episode 3/30
Fa, Ting's brother-in-law, is furious at being shut out of the board of directors. To get back at Feng, Fa decides to terminate the partnership between his travel agency and Royal Court Hotel. However, Fa breaks down after receiving much better terms from Feng. Zhi goes against Feng's orders and offers reserved rooms to other guests. He also releases a virus into their computer system. meanwhile, after convicing Yun to sue her stepsons, feng tricks her into believing that he is Ting's illegitimate soon.
