gotta say, ariel is one of the most talented taiwan actress ever and at a young age. SHe can really act, i love all you expressions. i j-stars are cute, but most of them don't act very well, but with time i guess they will improve. I love "It started with a kiss" its my one of my fav romantic comedies of all time.

林依晨、鄭元暢「吻」不下去？中視、八大合作的「惡作劇之吻」收視開紅盤，製作單位可米醞釀找原班人馬開拍「惡作劇之吻2」，但林依晨卻因擔心劇本不夠好，更怕「續集魔咒」，傳出辭演。

偶像劇續集不被看好，通常第一部收視長紅，第二部就算找到原班人馬，也不見得是收視保證，甚至常遭觀眾批評「狗尾續貂」，就連F4演出的「流星花園2」，也難逃慘敗命運。林依晨演技受肯定，「我的祕密花園2」首度打破續集魔咒，但是「惡作劇之吻2」連日劇都沒拍過，沒有日方原著劇本可參考，經紀公司不禁考慮再三。

林依晨的經紀人周美豫坦承：「若是收視不如預期，大家都會說林依晨掛了。」周美豫也表示，由於林依晨出道以來，接拍的幾檔偶像劇，角色類型都十分相似，有很多粉絲抗議希望經紀公司不要再讓她演「小敏」、「湘琴」等憨厚野蠻型的角色，因此雖然「惡作劇之吻2 」強力邀請，但她們仍考慮中。

「惡作劇之吻」製作人王信貴表示，「惡作劇之吻」拍出來的劇情，不及原著漫畫的一半，敘述鄭元暢、林依晨婚後故事的「惡作劇之吻2」已在籌備中。「不是只有林依晨要『喬』，導演瞿友寧、鄭元暢都還有工作，希望能在明年暑假上檔。」王信貴說，第一部就是忠於漫畫改編，和有沒有日劇做先鋒無關，他也希望演員、導演都能到齊，拍出原汁原味的「吻」。

most people have said they will wait until the end of ISWAK to decide if there is a sequel or not...but the article does mention that they might do a sequel because even the japanese one doesn't have a sequel...so it would be new material...and besides the original manga was never finished because the mangaka passed away

yep the manga wasn't finished as the writer died while writing it..
it ended with naoki(ZS) asking kotoko(XQ) whether she was pregnant. i can't imagine ariel pregnant haha.

i seriously hope that ariel will continue filming in the part 2! no one can portray the role better than her! shall we campaign in the official website so that she can be in part 2 too? just a suggestion haha.

i really hope so that Ariel would continue filming ISWAK with Joe Chen becuase i really enjoy this serie and seeing them together. I hope this serie would continue to part 2. It would be great if it did. LOVE JOE AND ARIEL so much.

i think both of them admitted have admitted they got too involved with their characters in Love Contract and thus couldn't distinguish between their characters and themselves in real life..so in a way they liked each other because of the people they played...

that being said..for a while when they were going on entertainment shows and promotional events they really did seem really close..but then all of a sudden you started hearing all these rumours about them not getting along etc.

i think that both sides just got a bit embarassed by the rumours ...and with the winding down of promotional events stopped seeing each other so they returned more to themselves and things got awkward between them...i don't think taht they dislike each other per se...after all they share a lot of common friends and the taiwaense idol circle is pretty small...i think they just want to avoid rumours where possible

Ariel has said several times in the past (including when questioned whther or not she wuld date mike) that she doesn't want 'brother-sister' relationships..meaning she would never date a guy younger than her...and mike is younger !

there hasn't been much news on her lately...pretty quiet because she is busy filming..she hasn't even been to many promotional events...

there was a news article about her in apple daily before accusing her of skipping a promotional event and slacking off...and saying that was why she was late to the event (because she had been caught slacking off and then had to rush to the event)...however they later had to retract that statement because it was proved that she had been on the set for asian juliet and the director had cancelled the shooting unexpectedly so she didn't find out until it was late so that was why she was late...

ariel fans got really mad and wrote letters to the newspaper and called them and that's why they had to retract it in the end..

that's basically all the news for now...there has been more speculation that there will be an ISWAK 2...but still just rumours and uncomfirmed

basically it talks about how both are really popular right now in TW and are in the 'cute/kawaii' stream of actresses...and when asked who is cuter/more kawaii they both said the other person is cuter

for those who don't know rainie + ariel are super good friends...they have even said they want to be neighbours and buy houses next to each other!

this is partly due to the fact both have simliar backgrounds...both their families are under a lot of debt and they are trying to relieve some of the financial burden through their earnings as artistes.

apparently rainie thought ariel was really cute and she asked ariel for her phone number one day (even though she usually doesn't do that) and she called up ariel a lot to go out etc...but because ariel is the slow to warm/become friendly with a person type, it took a while for her to open up...but she said that one time when Rainie invited her to visit her house, ariel saw how filial Rainie was and this removed more barriers for her

both are always trying to help each other and say good things about each other..especially Rainie! even though ariel is older than rainie is more like the older sister...(or so rainie says)

It hasn't been confirmed by anyone. However, the director did say that if there's going to be ISWAK2, he wants the original casts to come back, because each of the actor has been an essential part in respective character. There are Ariel's personalities in XQ, and Joe's in ZS. I think the director wouldn't want to make the sequel if at least these two main actors are not going to commit to it. Furthermore, he emphasized that if there is a sequel, it's gonna be better than the first one, and not just taking advantage of the hype. Well, at least we know that the series is definitely in good hands, right? Let's hope that the actors will come back for the sequel. If they're not, i don't see the point of making it anyway...
