There was a news report saying that Director Qu aka director of The Rose and ISWAK wants to shoot a movie, and it's been confirmed by him that Joe and Ariel will be starring in it. It will be filmed after ISWAK 2, which means it will be quite a long while away..but they will be acting in it anyway~

Has anyone watched "Love me if you can" what's the rough storyline?
I saw it on yesasia with eng subs, so if the storyline is good, I think i'll buy it.

I really wished the had eng subs for the DVD of ISWAK, I would definitely buy it, if the price range is similar to the china release of ISWAK ( its crazy how the taiwan version is twice the price of the china version on yesasia)

That's true, I didn't know there was that much of a difference, but I did know that the Taiwan one is super high (since that's the one I wanted to buy). Even though the China version is cheaper, I'm still not going to buy the China version. My reasons are stupid, but haha, whatever. It's because it would drive me up a wall reading the words in Simplified Chinese (I'm so against it. xD) And because I hate the dvd cover. Stupid huh? haha.

PART of the reason China DVD's are so much cheaper is that sometimes they are HDVD format, which means the quality of the picture is slightly lower and, I think, more subject to damage. These discs are much cheaper than DVD's because they can hold more episodes. For example, I bought the China version of Say Yes! Enterprise for a mere $20.00, and I think 6 discs held all 40 episodes. [I'm not sure of the ISWAK; I'm just giving an example.] Also, Taiwanese DVD sets often have extras-- for example, WZBQW had tons of behind the scenes stuff.

Another thing is economics. The tai bi is extremely strong against the dollar right now, while the Chinese ren men bi is undervalued. This will also add to the cost.

The ancient series of Chu Liu Xiang 楚留香 will be film by Guang Dong Qiang Shi, some hope that this series will be able to replaced Adam Cheng's version. However, what makes the productions worries was the male lead "Xiang Shuai" still can't find any male artistes that is suitable for this role. Lately, Takuya Kimura had said that he will only have the schelude to be in China two years later. Yesterday (17/5), some said that this main role will be acted by Huang Xiao Ming or Wallace Huo. Regard to this, Qiang Shi responded though they did have asked both of them, they still does not have the final decision yet. As for the female lead, Korean's actress choo ja hyun who had previously acted in Svent Of Love will be acting as the feamle lead- Su Rong Rong. Lately, there also had been info that Ariel will be acting in this series. However, Qiang Shi indicated that they had not asked for Ariel to be in this series.

Yeps! Ariel will be playing the female lead, Huang Rong, in the upcoming Legend of Condor Heroes 2007.

Rumors are that Hu Ge will be in this series too but they have not decided which role. Initially, they wanted him to be either Guo Jing (the 1st male lead and Ariel's husband) or Yang Kang (the 2nd male lead) but because Hu Ge had prior engagements, he might just take a smaller role so that he could finish his other projects.

Nicholas Tse is to play Yang Kang (unconfirmed).

The director will be the same person who did Chinese Paladin.

those pictures of her and wu zun are so cute. i am beginning to like them together eventhough i only saw the preview for TJ. i love ariel too. i talked on there, somewhat. TJ is comming out in less than 3 weeks. I love her hair in this drama it looks so cute. and about her and joe doing a movie together after ISWAK 2, that's great. i really like them on-screen, i wonder how they act off-screen.

However, the production crew has confirmed her for the female lead; instead it is Nicholas Tse who cannot make it for the role of Yang Kang due to his hectic schedule. So Nicholas Tse will definitely not play Yang Kang? Disappointed = ( I'm not a huge fan of him but he definitely fits the whole pretty-boy-villian image.

I am really looking forward to LOCH with Ariel as Huang Rong. I think she's perfect for the role because Huang Rong is supposed to be in her late teens (the previous actresses were all too old for this role) and have a very mischievous personality (like Ariel's Xiao Qi in TWFX).

As for Ariel's looks, she has a little bit of baby fat but it's not even that significant! She's thin in my book because it looks like she would wear a size 2 petite if she were in the US and that's pretty darn thin! The Asian standard for actresses is so anorexic, with the standard being 165cm weighing in at 47 Kg. Very absurd and unhealthy.

wowowo really impress that Ariel confirmed for Huang Rong ... I think she fit that role pretty welll .... her baby fat is make her cute ..... I don't think that her baby fat will affect the role she plays, it is doesn't concern ...this is 2 different problem ..
