Which actors and actresses do u guyz think do crying scenes the best? Some of them cn b reali fake, but others can b reali convincing...for me i'd choose Mingdao, Mike He, Vic Zhou, and Zax Wang...Tony Sun's not bad either. For girls...hmm...definitely Joe Chen, Ariel Lin, and....er...QiaoQiao...oh yeah, and Barbie Hsu.

Ariel is the best at heart-wrenching crying. What I mean is, when she cries, it isn't necessarily pretty, but it makes me want to cry with her.

Despite that, I'd say QiaoEn has a slight edge. That girl can cry in less than five minutes! Not to mention that her tears are BEAUTIFUL. They tug at my heartstrings rather than grab at them (like Ariel), but mainly that's because I'm always marveling at how her tears fall so beautifully from her eyes, which are still wide open. You can literally see the tears swimming before being released.

Guys... well, they say that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. And so I won't.

for girls I think Ariel and QiaoEn do the best jobs ever, others cry good, but not as good.

for guys, it's mike he, and jerry yan, when those two cried, it was so completely convincing, you actually see the tears come right out, instead of a scene where they already started crying.

Crying is really important for actresses. Cuz love story, usually is the actress that have to know how to cry.
Less important for actors since they seldom have to cry onscreen.

I think Qiao En and Ariel definitely top the list.
QE is slightly better cuz she cry and her expression and everything usually fits totally and the tears come down really beautifully and naturally. The way her eyes will wet first and then slowly, the tears will drop really makes me feel so drawn to her and my eyes will start to wet too lor haha
Ariel, sometimes when she cry, her looks get spoiled, yeah, some not as nice as qe haha

For boys
Shao Wei can really cry, but although i can see the real tears and everything, i always thought that he exxagerates too much when he squeeze in all that noises and everything or he ruins the touchingness of the scene with his actions. like in WZBQW, when zi qian's mother died, he was really good with the crying, but then he went and lied half on the hospital bed and half off and everything and the actions made me found the whole thing too exxagerated. and in aqmfs too

ming dao i think doesn't have like lots of tears but he's few tears really touching type lor and is really good

I agree with everyone that QE and Ariel are definitely at the top of the list. But I do think QE's crying is a bit more 'staged' and Ariel's crying is a bit more 'real.' Why? Because Ariel gets a runny nose. And frankly, that's what happens when you cry... But QE's eyes are so huge -- and lately Ariel's eyes have been blocked by her fringe, so you can't even really see them very well-- that you can see every single tear swell up. And QE is just a really really really beautiful crier. Her eyes don't swell up and her nose doesn't go red... and she just looks so lonely and sad. Ariel doesn't look very pretty when she's crying... Although you're not really supposed to... so I guess it's just a bonus that QE does.

For boys, I honestly have to say that MD's tears touched me the most. The ONLY scene in WZBQW where Jun-Hao was begging TY down by the water with the ring and the little pouch in his hand-- when he yells out "San Jun Hao bu shi yi ge shen..." or "San Jun Hao isn't a god...etc".. and real tears didn't fall... but you could totally see his eyes well up, and in pure JH-fashion, he forces them back... Ach. I loved that line, and it was SO touching to see MD well up like that. Also in AQMFS when [spoiler]YS finds out that his nai-nai knew that YaJun was already dead and... [/spoiler] he kinda looks up and away and holds his hand to his face... and just looks SO devastated... but you can feel the tears and how his voice is cracking... and yep.

Man, just thinking about MD's tears makes me wanna go cry. ^.^;;

i think ethan ....( forgot his last name)..the one from green forest _ owen...yeah..i think hes pretty good..its so sad every tiime he cries..makes me wanna cry with him! such a pityful guy. =[ only in green forest though

I'm definetely fair to judge those artists, i'm not one of their fan (because i'm the biggest fan of Ken Chu, Bryan Zheng & Beatrice Hsu Wei Lun), but they are the artists who can make me cry, when i saw them cry, even the scene (problem that they have on screen) not really sad actually. But, when they cry, i cry too.

O..., MG, I've just realized that 4 of them are 2 couples in 2 'UNFORGETABLE' serials EVER...
It's coincidence, but... maybe it's not wrong, if that two serials became

I'd have to agree with the majority here and say Joe Chen Qiao En because gosh, her eyes are so big and the when the tears well up in her eyes, you would immediately feel a tug of sadness in your heart, and when they actually do start falling, there actually pretty tears.

And Ariel Lin is the master of depression crying, when she's upset or something has gone seriously wrong, it all just combines and allows Ariel to cry out, I feel hurt to see her cry.

For guys I'd say Shao Wei, along with being the cutest actor he and Qiao En can cry in under 10 seconds which I think is amazing espcially when I saw them doing Hao Ai Ta, Hao Xiang Ta mv (There standing in front of the camara and next thing you know they're crying) and Ming Dao is great too, he's eyes get really red before he cries, so it looks more realistic.

i agree wif summerfrost bout qiao en nd shao wei. when i saw da makin of da mv Hao Ai Ta, dey jus stood dere 4 lyk a few seconds nd dey had tears in deir eyes already!

i think barbie xu's crying scenes in mars were pretty good.

i will have to say Qiao en...i love her crying scenes in prince turn frog...it was sooo realistic and sad becasue her eyes turns all red and her tears fall down soo beautifully.
As for male, i have to say ming dao because his eyes are very expressional that when he cries, you can't but feel sad...

For actresses, I would say Qiao En and Qiao Qiao cried pretty naturally when required and I like Qiao Qiao's crying scenes in GDTW.
As for the guys, Renfu did quite well in GDTW and Shaowei was pretty good in WZBQW+AQMFS.

i like Mingdao's crying, not the exaggerated type. He does not need to use facial expression to show he is crying. Because his crying is build up from the emotions and his eyes is good at expressing it. I'm not a person who cry easily, but he made me cried a few times already.

Another person i can think of...i think all of you do not know....he is known as "xiao bin bin"(this is his character name in his 1st movie)...that was quite a long time ago. This boy was only 3 years old when he started acting, and his first movie moved alot of people..now he has grown up and is already a father at a young age...(i'm not that old either, just that he acted when he was a very young kid)...hehehe

actresses- ARiEL LiN!!!! when she cries it makes me cry with her.

as for the actors....well...im not sure.....

For girls, then I say QQ (from Sweety), her acting was simply superb in 'Mr Fighting'! She can really actually cry! Her tears were very natural, whenever she cries, I would always want to cry with her! However, I felt her crying scenes in AQMFS weren't as clean cut as those in Mr Fighting though. Besides QQ, Ariel is good too, and Barbie's not bad either.

For guys, then NO ONE (in my opinion) beats Vic Chou! He was absolutely amazing in 'Mars'! Though he didn't have much crying scenes, but when he does cry, it all seems so real; you can actually feel him in pain, those tears of yours just bursts outs uncontrollably! Superb acting from him! I just finished 'White Robe of Love', and felt both Dylan Guo and Micheal Zhang are quite good too

Ariel Lin is GREAT at crying. I saw Love Me If You Can and WOW. She's really really good. Also in ISWAK and Love Contract she was great at crying. I think overall Ariel is just a great actress.

Barbie is also good at crying. Her crying scenes are really good in all her dramas that I've seen.

Vic Zhou and Mike He aren't bad. Vic was good in MARS and Mike cried in Love Contract. Mike's crying is really emotional and heavy. Vic does silent tears. Both are good.

I'm looking forward to seeing whether Joe Cheng can cry in The Rose =D!

For me ariel and zaizai really have the emotion of crying . Seems like when they cry it's like for real ^^.

hmm...for actors, i can't think of any right now...but for actresses, definitely Chen Qiao En and Ariel Lin! I feel my heart aching when i see them crying and i always end up crying together. their tears and expressions are so natural and real they can actually make me feel their characters' pain. that's why they're both the main characters of my 2 favorite dramas: It Started With A kiss and Prince Who turns To frog!

I'd have to agree with the majority of people here, for actresses Qiao En and Ariel Lin, both tug at my heart but Qiao En seems to be able to make me cry without knowing or rather noticing, basically everytime Qiao En cries, I both knowingly or unknowingly cry as well for example during WZBQW, there was one scene where Qiao En was crying and I just cried along without really noticing, her tears are also reallu pretty, they well up like a small puddle then like a waterfall, they basically take a break for it and leak and Ariel Lin is a splendid cryer, she's excellent at portraying deep painful tears, it's really quite depressing but after the crying, your just like "Wow"

For actors, I'd say Wang Shao Wei, who is great at crying, heard that he learned his skills from Qiao En This man sure can cry, whether they are pretty or not, my favourite crying scenes of his would have to be in WZBQW during JunHao's speech at his wedding to Tian Yu, that single tear that fell before he turned around and left, left such a deep mark in me, it was beautiful And Ming Dao is fine as well but sometimes I don't really notice his tears like for example the scene where he told Tian Yu that she was an angel and walked away twisting the juice box, it took me a few times rewatcing WZBQW to notice that he did cry

FEMALE: joe chen qiao en..her tears flow down naurally..
MALE: lin mingdao..even if he doesn't cry, u can feel his pain and u will start crying!

I'll have to say Ariel Lin, Qiao En, and Barbie Xu for all the reasons that everyone has already mentioned.

For the guys though, I just want to add Jiro Wang. For some reason, the part near the end when he leans towards Ariel (in ISWAK) to kiss her, he stops and then tears up, I thought it was just perfect for the moment. It just totally made me so sad for Jiro that for a moment there, I kind of wanted Ah Jin to end up with Xiang Qin.

I think Ariel Lin can reli cry. It's so real. But sometimes looking at her cry just makes me wanna skip it because her nose is all runny and like her face is all full of tears... doesn't look very nice... although u aren't exactly supposed to look nice when ur crying anywayz but anyhoo... I agree with wut nanshi said. =] I think Mike is a good cryer too btw. I saw on this talk show that one time when he was filming a crying scene in Love Contract, it made all the directors and workers there cry too. =)

Qiaoen and ariel lin sure can cry.. but qiaoen makes me more sad.. when i saw her crying in WZBQW..but when i watch ISWAK i didn't really feel like crying.. but i felt the sadness dere too.. so there is quite a difference but so far.. both of them are really good..

for guys.. i will have to really agree that Shaowei is really a good cryer.. lolx.. crying infront of the camera is quite difficult because with many ppl surrounding n looking at you.. you will have pressure.. and even harder to cry unless you really concentrates.. dat's y.. both QE and shaowei can cry really under such circumstances.. mingdao is another 1 too.. tho he didn't really shed tears.. but he just well up and the tears seems to be like falling but it jus seems to stop dere and can't flow down animore.. it seems painful becos you wanna cry.. both the tears jus wouldn't fall.. but the part where Ya si was going to visit nai nai.. he shed tears in his car.. dat was really.. nice.. veri sad.. but compare to shaowei.. i tink shaowei still can cry better haha..( no offense ) jus my opinion..

yeah, i totally agree w/ you! i like both Ariel Lin and Qiao En, but the last one definitely makes me cry my heart out...perhaps b/c the storyline of WZBQW was more sad...ISWAK was more lighthearted, not that sad. or maybe b/c Ariel doesn't look that nice when she cries, like Michelle* has mentioned above...but Qiao En still looks pretty even when she cries!

and about the guys, well...Shao Wei is good only in the emotional parts, he does really well in the crying scenes but as an overall actor i think he's only ok...but Ming Dao is really good b/c is weird how even though he doesn't shed that many tears, i feel even more saddened seeing him trying so hard to fight back his tears, it's like when you hv to hold your pain inside your heart and can't burst it out...it's really painful. and his expressions are really good and pityful, makes me wanna console him! but i think crying is a lot harder for guys b/c they aren't as emotional and sensitive as girls. so thumbs up for these guys who can actually do it so well!

I chose Qiaoen for the best female actress in crying...
She can make herself cry in a few seconds I think...if you guys watch Hao Ai Ta Hao Xiang Ta making of the MV...and I think she can make people cry together with her.

And Shaowei for best male actor in crying...
He has his own way in crying...it's like the tears just drop beautifully...
I cried everytime watched Shaowei's crying scene...especially in AQMFS...that's his best crying ever...
and on WZBQW where a scene of Junhao's marriage he cried...when he turned his head a drop of tears fell.

Definitely Ariel Lin. I don't mind if she doesn't look pretty while she's crying, but who does in real life? I prefer that it look real than pretty.

I will have to say that the best of the best in just taiwanese dramas, Airel Lin and Mike He are the best at crying sences.
After watching Love Contract and saw their crying sences, I'll have to say they are the best at acting out crying sences.

i think qiao en! i love how in wangzi in so many scenes she didn't have to cry, but she did. she said that in some scenes, she didn't need to cry. but the scenes effected her so much emotionally that her tears just came pouring out. i love that (:

For female, I say Ariel Lin, Qiao En, and Yan Yan. Well...Ariel's acting is so good that every role she plays is so convincing. Qiao En was really good in WQBQW, her tears were like a faucet once it's on it just keeps going. And YanYan had a lot of crying scenes in Green Forest too. I think she did a good job.

As for male, I can only think of Ethan (aka Owen) in Green Forest. Man...he can definitely shed some tears!

imo,sweety(yanyan,qiaoqiao) and ruby lin can cry well

ok....well female Ariel and Ady are very good....male...not to sure i would say Blue (from outsiders) cause even when he does not cry fully it is so believable =(

1) Joe Chen Qiao En -- she can cry any time! and she crys with feelings... without spoiling image..

2) Ariel -- she is good but i think when she crys is spoiling her image...

Haha seems like everyone thinks that Ariel and Qiao En are the best female criers!! I kinda think Qiao En's better, but I might be biased=p But really, Qiao En's crying scenes are just...MY GOSH. I won't even realise that I'm crying with her lor... For others I'm always able to stop myself from "crying with them" in time, but with her... Just seeing her cry makes me cry!!!

Qiao Qiao also managed to pull off GDTW quite well... You really really felt sad for her! In AQMFS it wasn't that great though...

For guys, I do think that Ethan did quite a good job in LGSL. You can literally feel his pain!! And Shao Wei was awesome in that crying scene in AQMFS...the one in the park near the end of the show. MAN that was a good scene.

If she was a lot younger (not saying she's old now), I wouldn't be surprised to see lotsa people wanted to have her play the female lead in many dramas.
She's way too good. I'm not saying she's the best, but she tops a lot of those other young actresses.

After Barbie Hsu would be Ariel Lin.
She's not up to Barbie's skill yet but definitely ain't very far behind.

Barbies cries very well in Mars. I'm impressed with her!

As for actor, Vic surely does his job best in Silence. Very dramatic and convincing!
