Is it me or do they film stars vomiting more in Hong Kong series and movies than English ones?

Ya which is totally disgusting. IMO, they can just film the sound rather than making it look like they're acutally spitting up. i have a weird thing with puke so it totally freaks me out.

Maybe they wanted to make it look real and trying to get the message across if they show drinking alcohol scenes that if you binge drink you will throw up!!
