my mom was readign the newpaper and there was an article about atv making a central affairs 3. can anyone confirm this?

If this news is true, ATV is really trying to milk profits from this series. It never turns out good. Even though i liked the first one, i still have yet to see the second one and ive read some bad reviews on it already. Nevertheless, i will watch the second one and conclude for myself. As for a possible CA 3, i hope this idea will never come into light, sequels always ruins its prequels.

I don't think any series was quite successful the 2nd time around, let alone the 3rd time around... except maybe "Square Pegs/A Life Made Simple" and all four "Armed Reaction"s..

All I have to say is, get rid of Michelle and maybe that'll make for a better CA3... o_O

But hey, ask your mom who they said was going to be in the cast for "CA3!"
I'd look forward to see Pinky and Ricky again, and of course Ben and Winnie had spunky characters in the first two CA's.

That would be an interesting move. After all, I don't think Central Affairs 2 did extremely well on the ratings front. Besides, even if they call the new series Central Affairs 3, it would probably have little to do with Central Affairs 2 plotwise. First of all, a lot of the characters died already, and the ones left probably are not interesting enough to carry a whole series (just my feelings). Also, Central Affairs2 had little to do with Central Affairs I except for some of the same actors. So may be they are thinking about getting Michelle, Pinky and Patrick Tse back for another series?

man wats the point they might as well call it something different ... cuz the stories just dont make sense .. i mean i m addicted to both CA's but they dont have a single connection.

I don't think they should change the name because otherwise people won't recognise it is part of the CA series?

I am looking forward to a third part, but I think they should wait longer before they release it.

Think both are dramatic series where people go against each other.

omg that would be great, despite the fact that i'm almost never gung ho about sequels, although CA2 wasn't really a sequel which really confused me for the first episode. but nevertheless CA2 was better than i expected.

What? Are u serious? What's it gonna be about or is it gonna be a sequal to the second one?

Seriously, they could totally call CA2 a different series. It's a completely differently story than CA. ATV is just trying to use the CA name to get more people to watch. If there is a CA3, I'm thinking it'll be a complete different story from CA and CA2.

omg! sounds like ATV trying to do what they did with "My meeting with vampire" or whatever the exact name was! The first one was quite good and then they make another and another one.... All the ones after just dragged on and on! CA3 just going to be the same! CA2 was pretty crap!!!

i don't know, but quite frankly i loved and enjoyed both CA1 and CA2 and i wouldnt mind a CA3 =)

i hope that there will be a central affairs3. i totally enjoyed the central affairs.

i don't want another CA plots are almost the same and endings are not very happy, in fact i don't just want michelle to be in it, don't really like her. maybe it will be different if she is not in.

cool I liked Central Affairs series - i think michelle has improves didnt like her in number 2 much but yeah I wouldnt say no to a third series.
