Personality: Strict and serious, confident, strong on ethics, talks about being professional, does things with a detailed plan, *don't know how to translate*, aims to succeed but has selfish wants, hopes to obtain success in the insurance field. The hard working and being able to stand all obstacles enabled her to become famous, but in terms of love, she has a lot of sad experiences. Lost in finding love insurance.

Background:
Melissa is independent woman focused mainly on her job. As a manager for Customer Insurance in a bank, with her hardworking personality and intelligence, she received a good reputation in the insurance industry. Hei has a boyfriend named yuen huoh. The two's relationship is pretty good and is in the step of marriage but Melissa finds out that yeun huoh cheated on her and with the help of sunny, tries to hide the affair from her. Melissa at the end, breaks up with yuen huoh and has a bad image of sunny.

Melissa was unhappy in love but in terms of her job, she is getting better. Sunny's superior was in a good state (business wise) and hired Melissa, which resulted into Sunny's coworker. Melissa and Sunny meet again as enemies and became enemies in striving for success in teh company. Plus, Melissa doesn't agree with Sunny's attitude in his job causing arguments in work. Besides that, Sunny's brother, kenneth seems to be messing with Melissa's cousin's feelings. Because of these aspects, Melissa doesn't like Sunny.

Melissa wants to create her own world in the industry so she thinks of a new idea named "Love Guaranteed". But this idea raised doubts, but by coincidence, shek sau though that melissa and sunny were having an underground relationship and tells melissa to go through a test of their relationship. Melissa, because of her job, pretends to be in a relatinship. Them two bought the "Love Guaranteed" but at the end melissa couldn't stand sunny's ______ relationship, at the end they failed.

Weird thing is, after the two stop pretending to be a couple, melissa started to see the cute side of sunny's personality, and started to fall in love with sunny after being together for a long period. Melissa suddenly encounters an accident and became the city's heroine. Melissa was also promoted, becoming sunny's superior. At this moment, Melissa thinks if she should not think of marriage but at the end, with cherrie's advice, takes back her thought. Unlukily, Sunny finds out about melissa's thought about not getting married, feels that hes being insulted, and suggests that they shouldn't get married on the day they were suppose to get married.

Melissa, wanting to attack Sunny, fights to achieve success at work. Under the fight for success, Melissa forgets her morals in work, and violates the rules...

This role is a bit similar to the more professional, independent woman roles Melissa's been typecasted a lot in the past, although b/c the series is oriented around comedy as well (Sunny mentioned this at one of the functions) as the insurance industry, her character may differ...

I like Melissa as an actress and hopefully her chemistry with Sunny won't fail to disappoint....

i really like her acting...it's really good. but these days i feel like TVB is promoting her really strongly, because it seems as if every other series that i've watched had her in it. but that might be just because i don't have good memory..>.<

although i'm not sure of what personality she is yet after watching episode 1, i find it SO funny when she fights with sunny ^^

Seems like the storyline is pretty typical for this type of comedy.. she is engaged to Sunny's friend who cheats on her. She doesn't get along with Sunny but will eventually fall in love with him..

I like her character in this series better than her character in LFD so far.. she's pretty strong-willed.. not so dependent like in LFD..

I'm not a really big fan of Melissa Ng, but I'm definitely look forward in watching this series. The first chapter was very funny, can't wait to watch the ending.

i reckon these strong professional roles are better for melissa than the ditzy roles (ex. fantasy hotel, into thin air). but actually, i think in this series her personality is kind of in between. i think shes doing a great job so far. i just cant wait till sunny and melissa starts going out (or pretends to). i think those parts will be super funny.

i like her acting now its funny still serious. and also tat she was so mean to or other words pay back to Ken haha tat was funny!

i like her role in this movie... itz really powerful.. like she is very independent... but sumtimes the things she does is too much... but her acting is great!

did you guys noticed, it seems like in most of her series, her bf/husband always cheated on her. and always break up in the beginning. This one kind of like Hotel fantasy, she broke up with her man, and hate the guy she works with, but end up together at the end.

i feel like she always plays very similiar type characters. Doesn't show much acting ability. Really didn't like her character/acting in la femme. But I like sunny so hopefully this series will be good.

i agree, i didnt like her in la femme either and not in the first three episodes i've seen, i just dont kno why but her acting hasnt improved..she forces too much. im watching this for Sunny, cuz he's actually acting really well.

i think melissa's acting is ok. Her character is kinda dumb tho.

She is getting promoted a lot these days. la femme desperado and then this. soon tai chi. her acting better improved.

Hmm...I'm a big fan of hers and I don't really favor her much here lol but I like Sunny. She's sophisticated and professional in here [= She's funny too with her smart comebacks. I love the scenes where she's like at war with Sunny.

I much prefer Melissa's role as Hazel than in Fantasy Hotel. She's just hilarious in scenes with Sunny, they seem to make a good pair...

Her acting is quite good...but I find her character very annoying..sometimes she goes abit too far.... lacks of "yan cheng mei"...always full of herself...but it is still better than her character in la femme..where she has a really dumb character.

Her character is a little annoying because she always gets away with everything, but I'm a fan of Melissa and I'm glad they've turned her away from Fantasy Desperado roles. At least Hazel has some spunk (and her name is Hazel!), I'd rather Melissa play someone who's full of herself than play another clumsy ditzy being picked on.

I'm usually a big fan of Melissa's.. but I must admit that her roles lately have been kinda sucky.. Into Thin Air, Fantasy Hotel, Femme Desperado..

So far her character is not THAT likable.. but hopefully she'll redeem herself later on..

I have never really like watching her until HH3. She was so pretty in there and I have taken notice of her ever since. I like to see her corporate look and once again, she looks so beautiful in here. I prefer to see her acting stronger roles like this rather than weaker ones like those in Fantasy Hotel and La Femme Desperado. As usual, can't find any flaw in her performance here.

ooo... gotta admit i used to dislike her alot!!! well mainly becoz of the roles she played in
series some years back... she's starting to take on lead roles and she's becoming more likable... lol... yup.. ever since HH3 and esp la femme desperado, she's became one of my fav actress... on top of that she's pretty versatile... and i love her role in LG lol

I can't decide which type of role I like her in better...she was great in HH3 as a doctor, but she was also great in LFD as kinda a very feminine female...both were great....

I've always liked her...very glad that she's getting more leads now! time for her to shine!

I agree as well. I hope to see her more in those kind of roles, but Melissa seem to want to stay away from corporate professional roles (as she has said in various interviews)!

I was wondering about mellisa's mom and dad in this serie. I've watched up to episode 15 now and they it's only about her aunt and cousin, but never mentioned her parents??

I like her better in this one then La Femme Desperato. The character in LG is better suited for her.

Melissa is a pretty good actress. She performed well in this role as the professional insurance sales person, Hazel. Hazel's relationship with Ken was very funny, especially at the beginning when they were forced to camp together and had to cooperate.

I love melissa ng, mostly in every series i see her. she plays a smart intelligent girl who always get dumped for something. thats why nobody usually dates her.. so funny.

She is so cute in this series. I think she is quite different in this series cuz she is very funny making joes on Sunny. I love Melissa since into thin air and she improved a lot lately and prettier!!
