Asian is not an ethnic group so it is remotely impossible for all of us to look the same. You are probably a non-asian for saying that.
East and some SE asians have similar physical features(search for Mongoloid), this doesnt mean they're the same people though. Asians are the minority in the US and we tend to live in communities.....I don't have time to explain all this but your question was too vauge. Before you ask this question, please notice the Arab countries and the SOuth Asian countries(India) are also Asian.

of course not all asian girls look the same because there are many asians such as chinese, vietnamese, korean, japanese, etc that have different facial features and skin color.

I understand what wallace411 is talkin about. I think that a lot of Chinese girls look and dress a like. Esepcially those who are from certain parts of China. Of course culture plays a huge role on what people wear and how they style themselves but the strangest thing is the stature does appear fairly similar.

I dont think they all look the same. Usually I am pretty good at telling the difference between a Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Filipino. When it comes down to Vietnamese, Thai, Burmese, Cambodian, Indonesian, Malay and Lao people though, it gets a little more difficult for me. But they certainly dont all look the same.

i think this esp applies to hong kong girls.

last time i went there --- nearly all of the teenage girls looked the same practically! the hair (layered) (almost mullet like), the clothes they wore were of same fashion, their height , their body shape....

i guess it's the media and the trend in hk --- but even my family and friends said they agree with me.

there ought to be more variety in fashion in hk me thinks.

NO!!! Definetely NO!!! I mean, people who look alike is quite normal, it doesn't just happen with Asian girls. But most of the time, they're all different. Sure, they may have some similiar facial features but doesn't mean that Asian girls all look the same.

i really don't think that all asian girls, umm or guys look the same. of course there are some people that look a bit alike but this goes to very race.

If you mean you literally cannot tell Asian girls apart and think they look the same a la how some non-Asians view Asians, then I'd say no. However, if you mean it in the sense that many Asian girls have a similar look, then I agree. Many Asian girls are petite with fair skin, long hair, and dress in a similar style. It's the epitomical Asian girl look. Although they don't literally look the same, they all kind of start to look the same after awhile (if that makes sense). To make a comparison, think of an epitomical Caucasian girl look: tanned with blond hair and blue eyes. Sure, not every white girl with this look is literally going to resemble other girls with a similar look but if you see a sea of girls with this look, they do seem to look the same after awhile. It's like seeing the same thing over and over again.

There's a scientific reason why you believe "some people" look the same and it applies to everyone.

If a Chinese person saw a "white person" for the first time, what do you think he/she is going to notice? Her blond hair, her large nose, large mouth and her deep-set eyes (because the traditional Chinese has black hair, small nose, small mouth and shallow eyes).

So if this Chinese remembers the "white person" by "the difference that makes her who she is" and encounters a GROUP of "white girls". He would see almost the same features in EVERYONE of them (and guess what? they all wear short skirts !). How would the Chinese person react? He would think all "white people" look the same. Why? Because:

I know quite a few asian girls who don't have black hair and don't wear jeans. There are some obvious differences in the asian races (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)....so no I do NOT think all asian females look alike.

Teachers always call me different names. I find it offensive. I can tell the difference, no one looks the name.

I personally think it has more to do with respect for that particular culture. As an African American I can tell you that it was said many times that all black people look alike. This was back in the clan killing days. They didn’t want to see us for who we were so it was easy to just see us as one.

It has with the mindset in the way of thinking "It’s all the same to me, so what if one has smaller lips, or thinner face" they all still look alike" Kind of a "I don’t care to take time the time to get to know you for who you are..It`s easier to lump you all together mentality"

I mean. Everyone knows that even real twins, though they look alike, still look different no matter which ethnic group they belong to.

I think once you get to know different ethnic groups the more you see the difference in the people and their features.

The features can even be similar. Jackie Chan doesn’t have a small nose; Rosamound Kwan doesn’t have shallow eyes. Turbo (from the movie Break dancing) doesn’t have big eyes.

Most features are pretty typical though.

Well, in my school, all the Asian Girls tend to dress the same: tight shirt, tight jeans that are semi low-riding. They all have highlights in their hair and wear some makeup. They all wear the same brand of clothes too. It's like they are all clones.
