Here is what I understand about the "love insurance" concept that Sunny and Melissa introduced --- A couple would buy this insurance and they would get the proceeds if they get married. It was mentioned that the point was to "force" the couple to give each other a chance, in case they want to separate.

My question is this -- The bad side to this is the couple would get married EVEN THOUGH they don't love each other anymore so they can get the money. Also how long do they have to stay married? Can't they get married, get the money, then divorce? I also don't see how this is profitable to the company if every couple that bought the insurance gets married and they have to pay the couple.

Am I right, or am I missing something here unsure.gif

It's profitable because not every couple would be willing to get married JUST to get insurance money..

i think this is great if there is such insurance policy. this would let the girls know if the guy really want to married them and be with them always. if not then the guy probably not commited to the girl.

In the series, Melissa mentions that this type of insurance is available in some countries.. Anyone know if this is this true? And which countries?
carms
is it real?
is there really a love insurance??
it seems pretty cool~~~~~
so they couple would get the money if they really do get married.. but in one scene i saw melissa handing a pamphlet to a newlywed couple..
is there more to it?

i think if they get separated, they gotta pay some kind of fine, cuz anyone can just buy a new insurance, marry and then divorce

agree with that .. but if this insurance does excist, never heard of it .. then it wont turn out good, since there really ppl who buy insurance to take their advantage of it .. which is not fair to others, who really need money an didnt lie..

they explained a bit of how the insurance works in the series in ep 15
on their radio show
this is wot i remember that they said:
you get like an amount of money after a certain amount of years of staying together
and although it does sound like its too good to be true
the whole idea is that if things go wrong ppl dont just leave and run away
buh they try to sit down and work it out together
and like also the amount of money is larger as the yrs are longer and you have signed the insurance for longer

how it works.. will onli depend on if sunny n melissa get married tongue.gif keke
that'll b wat all their fans, audience, ppl in the show would want..

I was wondering, does this insurance really exist?!
If it doesn't , this concept might have attracted some insurance companies.

i think the type of insurance is not realistic...like i think that anyone that needs to buy insurance to guarantee love is just not thinking straight.....i think insurance companies would lose money too

hazel had said in the series that this love insurance actually existed in Korea for many years already. I remember Sunny and melissa saying this in individual interviews as well.

This love insurance has a bit of bonus, after everyone finding out about the super coool love insurance, the insurance company gets more visitors and clients too.
