WOW, I didn't know that she did other series like Love of May, The Story Of A Noble Family, and The Love Winner. Maybe somebody can post the series in the download section. I agree, I can't wait till ROCH comes out too... I just finished watching her in Swordman & Fairy as Ling er and I thought that she did a good job. She was crying when she was sad, smiling when she was happy and most importantly ALWAYS lookin' angelicly beautiful all the time.
I don't know why there are ppl hating on her because she's still young and she's definitely improving. Her main job is to look beautiful which might I say that she's doing a damn good job at it. I have not seen her in any modern series all all as most of the series I have seen her in is ancient series. I like all her series which I have watch which is the sword n fairy and the demi god n semi devils. I am looking forward for new series which is the return of the condor hero. LYF is overrated. Sorry. That's just how I feel. I completely agree that she's very pretty, but so far, that's all she's getting from me. A lot of her pics are airbrushed heavily to the point where her skin is like powdery smooth, which is not how normal people's skin is. She looks very good in gu juang though. Her acting is mediocre. Didn't do that great of a job in TLBB, didn't get realized in A Story of A Noble Family until TLBB made her famous. As for ROCH, she doesn't seem to fit the role. XLN requires an icy demeanor, something that I can't see her as. LYF is more of the cute, quiet, whiny, lovable warm type. XLN is not....that.

Never said she wasn't pretty, just that she probably doesn't deserve the roles that she's getting. If there's one thing that is a real pet peeve of mine, it's people getting things that they don't deserve. Yes, she is pretty. But does that make her a good actress? Did her acting in TLBB show that she's a good actress and deserves high publicity roles like XLN for ROCH? IMO, no.


True, but just from observing her acting style from her other series, doesn't seem to fit XLN, esp the one portrayed by Carmen Lee in ROCH with Louis Koo. Also, isn't XLN supposed to be older? But LYF is 10 years younger...true that she can pull off the eternal youth part no problem, it's just looks, but the other parts are not just from a pretty face.

Wow...didn't take her long to get into the music industry. Almost all of those stars now go from acting to singing or vice versa. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're not. Ruby Lin is terrible at singing.

I'm currently watching this series now, and i do think that if there's a China Version of this series, I meant if China has a planing to adapt this series then reshoot with using chinese actors & actress, I wish to vote for Liu Yi Fei who casts the lead girl - 長今. I think she really fits this role. Don't know why, I just think Yi Fei really fits this role , she's pretty, and her 氣質 really good!!!! What do you think?
