According to TVB's website, Christine's character is somewhat similar to Bowie's (Maybe that's why they fell in love at first sight..).. She is highly respected both at work and by friends. She's involved with some sort of power struggle at the newspaper/magazine that she and Maggie work at.. both are highly trusted by the boss and Christine wants to get rid of Maggie until she finds out that Maggie is her brother-in-law's (Wong Hei's) girlfriend..

She and Bowie have been married for 16 years and their marriage is on the rocks.. There is a lack of communication between the couple and both put their careers in their first priority. They have not get divorced for the sake of their son.. but when he leaves for England.. it might be a different story..

It sounds like there might be hope for their marriage though..

Hmm.. this woman is quite pretty.. but shes being a clever person this time? its the first time i seen a person who always plays silly to be clever... but shes pretty so i dont mind.. in most series i watched with her in it.. its usually her being a character being stupid..

oooohh sounds so interesting. what caused they marriage to be so bad? i want to see if they fix their marriage problem. cant wait to finish this series

i quite like christine. her acting is ok. she is good so far in this series. just hope their chemistry will improve

her appearance is just like her average performance. her character isnt a new type for her and neither is her look...

i think that christine is doing very well in this series. i like the way she acts and all, and i also think that her acting seems a bit more natural than maggie's.

oo like her in this character. her eye contact is good. likes her costume and her handbags are fantastic

i think she's too self centered in this movie, always thinkin she's right n everyone else is wrong. even when maggie helped her out by telling her their boss's g/f is a druggie she still think maggie did it to make her look bad. she can never be satisfied with anything.

The way she plays it like other series is well done. Her acting is great and it reveals the sinister in her behind her pretty smart face. I like her, but not the character but is playying a very good role.

She's playing a superb role, her acting is great but I don't like the character.

I like Christine's acting skill and the way she portrayed her self-confidence, how she dress up, her costume, and especially the scene where both Maggi and Christine stepped out of their individual office to meet in the middle and greet soooooo superficially with that fake smile. I had a good laugh on this.

I was so used the Christine playing "airbag" characters that, at first, I found it hard to accept this smarter Christine. But as the series went on, I grew to really like this new image. This girl can do a lot with her eyes, especially in the scheming scenes..

After watching just 8 episodes, she tried to be the ideal wife to Bowie. She had a career and wanted to be a housewife although she wasn't too good at it. I respected the fact that she never took any information from Bowie for her magazine stories.

I think that christine ng did a really good job with the character, she seems so evil sometimes and sometimes can be funny. She was one of the highlight in the series

I don't like Christine's charater in this series. She seems very evile. She always thinks of herself first, and she 's better than everybody. She always fights against her co-worker and get them in trouble.(especialy to Maggie).Also she had a bad realships with her husband.( Bowie)

I think Christine did a fantastic job here. She could be nice one minute n evil in the next minute. It was real fun to watch her. I don't think i have seen her acting like dis in any of her other series. I have to say her evil acting is really good, i was amazed by her in dis series.

i think her acting skills are excellent......the gestures, the way she speaks......
but then i really hate her character in this series.......always think of ways to hurt samantha........
i'm on episode 15......so i dunno what she turns out like at the end, but hopefully she knows she has overdone and stop being mean

she thinks too much about what people do....thinks too complicatedly
I really dislike her character and feels sorry for samantha
But Christine plays this character well and is really into it

Chirstine's acting skills are great and she can play so many diff characters. SHe plays this character very well especially when she is at work. Also she has such beautiful full and long eyelashes.

I think Christine Ng did a fantastic job as Emily in CIB. IMO, the character of Emily is complicated, and while she was scheming, i never thought she was EVIL. I love how they portrayed her as cutthroat at the office, but she tries the best to be a good wife at home. While it was kind of sad during the mid eps where Emily wanted to break up with Tony, i felt that it was a natural progression for a character like Emily. She's so strong and the competition finally completely changed her..but the fact that she was never had that independence was an interesing pt. she went from babysitting her siblings to getting married & pregnant.

Great jo on christine's part to show both the strong and weak, vulnerable side of Emily! it's her best job/character since working at TVB!

She's done a very good job of the character... She's successful in the sense of acting the character well..

And, within the series, she's a successful woman in terms of her career. To begin with I think she was a respectable woman who never stole stories from her husband, but I started to reallly lose respect for her when she started to change. Her competition with Samantha had switched her from someone with good ideas to compete with her to somebody who used dirty techniques in order to just get rid of her.

Let's hope the ending changes

Christine is just great in this series. She made it so naturally her in this smart, independent, aggressive n somewhat arrogant role as Emily. I also don't find her evil when she have bad plot on Maggi. Not bad at all Christine.

i find dat d mushroom hair dat she have really look nice on her its been a while havnt seen her in tvb series but yeh she still d same skinny but yeh she did a good job in acting as emily just not a good mum i guess n wife.

Chistine Ng, she's an amazing actress, she can take on any type of characters. Love her fashions in this show, everything looks really good on her. Her role was kind of mean & b*t*hy at times but then she got better later on. I can't believe she plays mother with such older son. That was strange..

Its kinda wierd to see her in such a stern and vengeful person in this series. I have just watched this series together with Welcome to the house, wehre she protrays a "weaker" side.

I got quite frustrated when she was in one of the scences where she suspected everything that Maggie did were for one reason, to topple her. I guess this is what good acting is. I have to admit she did well here. To me, she is also mean becoz whatever Bowie did to save their marriage, she pushed him away. arghh... but nevertheless at the end of the day, they are some sort like got back together, which is good.

It is wierd also that in one of the last few episodes, when bowie called here when they were in their respective car, she wasnt listening to what Bowie said but kept saying ok ok "I heard you" and she "hogged" the traffic to look for her ring.. How can she do that, lol.

I love Christine's character, she's really smart and the rivalry between her and Maggie is great to watch. She's a great actor as well, it's funny how she she walks into her room and automatically turns on her foot massager. Also, that picture of Christine is quite pretty.

I really like her character. She can't cook. Lol. That's funny and I like her evilness.
"Captain Tea" Only sold in British. That's part was so mean.....and cool. LOl.
