I come from a non-Chinese background, but I came to watch Biter Bitten and I liked it.

I would like to have some ideas about modern HK series ; I am not really interested upon Kung Fu shows.

Which modern series do you recommend?

I recommend:

Revolving Doors of Vegeance
Love Gauranteed
La Femme Desperado



and I could go on forever and ever with Modern Series. But yes Bitter Bitten is a good start because that series is really good! >.< But I recommend trying to watch some ancient series as well because some of them are actually pretty good for example

War and Destiny
War of the InLaws

i would recommend: revolving doors of vengeance, life made simple, to get unstuck in time, to catch the uncatchable; as modern series
ancient series: war and destiny, war of in-laws, eternal happiness

hope youll enjoy those series.

for modern, i would recommend aqua heroes, nice plot and i like the celebs, even though they r newbs at acting.

for ancinet, i would recommend twin of brothers

i really dont kno if Au Reviour shanghai is a kungfu series but i liked it and you should also watch Forensic Heros its nice =D intresting to be exact..and Revolving doors of vengence thats really good too love the plot! enjoy..!

Mmm All of you reccomended good series to him. Hope that he is already out and about renting these series! >.< Is Man's Best Friend any good? I havn't seen that one before. That is the one with Louis Koo right?

I recommend 'Survivor's Law', its a bit older 2-3 years but it's one of the better modern series TVB has produced in recent memories.

There are soo many that you could watch. Alot are good and everyone has different taste. The above mentioned are basically all good with revolving door of vengeance being one of my favorites. The storyline is well planned with a bunch of twists, once you start you can't stop lol.

uhm .. under the canopy of love / love guaranteed / Aqua Heroes / Forensic Heroes .. Aqua Heroes is old but it was nice too watch at A Taste Of Love is also okay .. but also old .... gosh they made better once in the old days .. The Academy .. Survivor's Law .. Bar Benders .. White Flame .. Burning Flame .. so much gosh .. can continue like forever

YOU have HAVE HAVE to watch revolving door of vengenance (sp?) yeah, I grew up watching canto movies and it is by far the best one i've ever seen! 32ep of thrill and excitement because unlike any other tvb series. it's not Predictable!!! the only bad thing is that the setting of the plot doesn't really work for me. But seriously THE BEST

Are you looking for new ones or old ones?

So far, there has been no new modern comedy series that can beat WAR OF THE GENDERS. It is HIGHLY recommended. Why? Because it's hilarious. It is sooo funny. The series is pretty old though - about 6 years ago.

and there are so much more, but I can't remember, lol. Watch the older ones. They're a lot better than the newer ones. In my opinion, at least, lol.
