i've never met a k-star, i think it b/c i live in such a boring city that none of them come. But it would be cool if i could meet jang nara.

Wooot, first post. Anyway, I've met BoA.
It was during the first part of her rehearsal for her "Over the Top/Girls on Top" performance, and purely on accident. I was with my uncle, who works half the year in Korea, and he said he needed to see how one of his colleagues was doing in setting up some of the stuf at the festival thing... and that i might be able to see some stars rehearsing but not to bother them, lol.

Well we were just walking around where the seats and arrangements were being made in front of the stage, and I saw BoA leave the stage... and I said "BoA!" and she turned.

I didn't get to speak to her that much, since she was super busy because she had to learn the whole dance in one night, but she took the time to say hello. When I said I was visiting from America she gave a little squeal and her eyes got big. lol! It was so cute. So she said "thank you" for coming all the way out to Korea to see her and that she hoped I enjoyed the show the next day. (Which I didn't go to but I didn't say that, lol.)
The choreographer then asked for her and she had to go... she bowed, said it was nice to meet you, and -again- to enjoy the show.
Surprisingly, she seemed shy and a little anxious/restless.
But I thought she was so sweet. <3

We stayed to talk to my uncle's partner or whatever and then we left...

Maybe because you treated her cool so she did not freak out.

IMO the best thing to do when you meet big stars is not to oogle or squeal or scream...
Just remain calm & polite so they we will not freak them out lol

Yea i did meet some K-stars. I was in korea for over a month, saw some stars & i went to the YG family concert. I can't go into detail cause my sister wants to use the computer. but yea, i met 1TYM, BoA, Lee Dong Wook, Lee Da Hae, & more.

i've never met anyone nor has ever left california but i recently heard that KWON SANG WOO likes to visit US especially california.... now i'm wondering where cause i would luv to met him!!!

i'd definitely love to meet jang nara she is so pretty n cute n seems nice in person..n i'd love to meet kim tae hee too,lee hyori more or less n hyun bin too...but i would be the happiest person if i could meet jang nara...but thts jus possible in my dream haha because im in the uk too far frm korea

Yes, I saw him at the airport, very near distance, no security blocked and the fans are
very well behaved.

I also spent pre X-mas time with him together with the fans members plus individual
autograph. We also took group photos

No, he looks young and well in dressing too. We wore the same colour (White)!

He is a friendly person, from there I like him till now, even got his few Cds.

The other actor LBH is also friendly and can speak good English! He is my no. 1 favourite actor!

i know quite a few people who have met her
who say she's a real sweetheart.
but she's not very talkative.
(those are the two things that seem to be most true about her.)

even if a singer or actor is a jerk or whatever,
they won't be that way to their fans.
their labels, SM entertainment especially,
train them to always be gracious no matter what.
ESPECIALLY to their fans... because if they step
one toe out of line, bye bye fans, hello antis.

that's the reason i don't believe that boa's really rude.
it all those stories were true, it would be much more publicized,
and it wouldn't just be people on english-speaking forums saying it either.

Well, I've only met Lee Young Ae who is my fav korean actress...she's not old like the previous 2 people said...she's mature and feminine...I'm not into young female idols so I don't think she's old at all!! Her skin is fabulous, its the nicest I've seen on any person. Her voice is also very soft, gentle and quiet! She is also very polite and shy but smiles at lot!! Her eyes squint when she smiles which I think is very cute! Also, she is very well mannered, she will look you in the eye when you talk to her and when she talks to you, like she is really listening, I find that very respectful!

I'm very glad that you like BH too!. Yes, he looks young, manly and charming too!

I love his voice too! From those I have seen, he is the only one that can speak English.

I even bought something and personally presented to him. I have two group photos with him.

Sorry for Won Bin, he doesn't give me a very good impression, not so friendly.

I've never met a K-star despite the fact that a few of them have already visited the Philippines including Eugene, Lee Dong Wook, Lee Dong Gun and a few others. But Kwon Sang Woo is coming over to Manila next week--hope I could at leasr get to see him!

i saw se7en,danny,bigbang,gummy,lexy,stonyskunk,and bigmama after the yg concert. me and my friend went to a resturant to eat and they just so happen to walk in. i was glad cause no one else was around.( you know those crazy girls ). we told them that they did a great job at the concert and they said thanks. i almost could have took a picture with danny but then thier manager said no T.T but we manage to take a picture with one of the guy from stonyskunk. man i would always remember that day cause tempo had the MOST ADORABLEST face when he said thanks ;D

.....manage to see them do 1 MV......the manager were mean and keep giv mean stares at us and ask us to go away.....but then.....sungmin definately very cute that time.... eeteuk is being very friendly....others...are okie too.... but 1 thing i wanna highlight...although im not a big fan of him.... EETEUK is very friendly!

Yay, I could finally answer this thread's question properly! Yup, proud to say I've seen Kwon Sang Woo in person just today, for the launching and promotion of The Face Shop in the Philippines. He's hot, that's all I can say.

People, why bother to meet any of them, these artist are not always very nice, enen thou you are the onec supporting them. I have been in the industry and I am so aware of these false and pretentious artists, Yes, they a very nice ones who really care, then you get the photo ops, and the list goes on.... They are just like you and I the only thing make more money, they are more liable to hurt your feelings.

I have met quite a number of Korean Star and RSW is one of them when he visited Singapore.

RSW cannot speak English, only his brother can! So far the one that I met who can speak well
English is Lee Byung Hun.
