Joey Yung, Sun Boy'Z, Kathy Yuen, Gladys Fung, and Emily Leung were filming a clip for moon cakes yesterday in Central. When speaking of Gillian Chung's recent incident of being filmed while changing, Joey expressed that she had called Gillian two days ago to console her, she said, "Gillian is still quite upset at the moment; she's been sighing frequently. I've asked of how she's going to handle it. Personally, I think this tabloid should have a suspension of publication. It's not a good magazine; it's complete rubbish. To film someone changing is shameful. It's no different than molestering and raping. Artistes are at the front of the line, so we can rarely predict things. It's great pressure. There's no use in talking about this anymore, we should be out there taking action!"

When asked if there are any ways to avoid similar issues, Joey expressed with regret, "We can only do what we can to protect ourselves. Sometimes I cover my face when changing. These techniques should be published. Or we can shut the lights off when changing, or buy a sack to put it around yourself while changing. My little brother is a fan of Gillian's, and he went to the concert in Malaysia; he is very angry when finding this out, expressing that they're hurting the goddess in his heart. He's been telling me to doing something. (What do you think should be done?) We should sue their pants off! I hope the public won't be forgetting about this incident because we need to investigate until we get to the bottom of this!"

As Jordan Chan, who has always been a target of the paparazzi, when he was notified about Gillian being filmed, he seemed to express strongly with reason. He was quite agitated while criticizing the tabloid and feels that it's a disgrace to chinese people. He said, "I'm telling you, this is not something that a chinese person would do. He shouldn't be known as a chinese person! Chinese people wouldn't do something like that! We have a sense of honour and pride! It's a hard job being an Hong Kong artiste, and they're out there degrading us! I saw the news this morning, so I know that there are about 800 complaints right now. Don't you see how serious this is? What do they want?! Do they want to degrade us until the HK ET industry ends? Do they want us all to leave the ET circle? What would he do if his daughter was the one who got filmed while changing? Gillian's out there to sing and perform, not for them to secretly film!" Jordan continued by saying that this is directly effecting the society, and people responsible should be prosecuted, and he will not even take a look at that tabloid. He said, "Looking at it is going to damage my eyes!"

Jordan feels that HK's ET Industry has already been having a downfall during recent years, so everyone should unite together. If the ET industry comes to an end, then the media really won't have anything to report on. When asked if he thinks that passing a new law would help, he expressed that if the media doesn't set boundaries for themselves, then it still won't be much help. Even having social meetings isn't going to work because he's been talking about it to the point that he's being sick of it!

Also, Kelly Chen also shows support to Gillian, "I've filed a complaint as well, and I've complained through the media. They didn't put any thought of morality in it at all! It's damaging the society! It could lead to a direct impact on the thoughts of youngsters. The thing that I'm most afraid of has happened. Now that cellphones are able to take photos and pinhole cameras have been invented, I'm very much afraid of being secretly filmed. It's absolutely scary!"

As for Eric Tsang, being the chairman of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, towards Gillian's incident of being filmed while changing, he expressed, "Tonight, I will send out an urgent call for a meeting to discuss this matter. The perspective of our group is definitely strong condemnation, and we are very concerned of how the victim, Gillian, is feeling right now."

Eric continued, many members such as Simon Yam, Lawrence Cheng, and Anthony Wong will be coming to the meeting. Even John Shum, who is in Beijing right now, will be rushing back to HK. Using his personal perspective, Eric said, "Secretly filming is definitely wrong, and I definitely don't supporting. I've never agreed to these actions and expressions of these tabloids. This time, having Gillian be filmed on private property, I really think she should call the police." At the same time, Eric is glad that the Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority is highly aware of this incident. He said, "Those involved with news broadcasting should have some conscience. They've handled the 903 incident very well earlier. All DJs are needed to take classes to understand morality and personal integrity. This time, we can arrange classes for the editors and reporters, and those being an owner to media corporations should have responsibility towards the society." Eric then expressed that the reporter who took the photos and the editor responsible should receive a suspension immediately. As to whether Gillian has sought help from the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, Eric said, "At the moment, I haven't received a call for help, so we'll be having the meeting tonight for prepartion. I do hope that the victim will be able to step out and tell us about the crime because being secretly filmed in a changing room is the same thing as someone peeping. She should really call the police." Will there be any boycotting? Eric responded, "I'm not able to represent the whole group. We need to vote on it, and if the majority agrees, then we will take action."

Eric was on a radio interview of Cha Siu Yan's yesterday, and he feels this case is very serious. Even if the photos were taken from the internet and then published on the tabloid, it's still wrong. Right now, it's secretly filming and then publishing it. The police need to be notified. Cha Siu Yan agreed by saying that even though secretly filming isn't against the law in HK, but peeping is. Right now, it's using the format of secretly filming to peep. They have also published the photos on a tabloid. Whether or not they should be punished, she is sure that we all know.

Soler also feel that it's a big pity. "We are also very preserved people, and we know that there are many people waiting for the chance to take snapshots, so we've always been careful. We do feel that it's a big pity to have something like this happen. We hope that the owner of that tabloid will use their conscience to think about it!"

Also, the Protection of Female Rights Assocation held a press conference in the middle of the busy city yesterday. They also ripped up all the tabloids they had to express their dissatisfaction. The representative expressed, "We hope that this action will show the government how much their attention is needed. We also hope that citizens will understand and boycott this tabloid! Most of all, we hope that this tabloid's reporters, editors, and even the owner will be ashamed!" They then expressed that they will have more actions taken if necessary.

The company should know that once they published the photos a lawsuit is inevitable. They might gain a lot of money from the initial sales and printing of the publication. But in the long run, theyll lose money from a lawsuit. Additionally, I'll bet in the near future (maybe its even happening now) there would be a huge boycott of Next magazine products and publication.
Whether it is as a fan or just someone with morality, everyone should boycott Next magazine.

WOw, I haven't been on asianfanatics a few days and something like this big hits. It does put a damper on HK entertainers and the industry itself. People will be too fearful to become an artist, thus talented individuals cannot help revive HK entertainment industry. Isn't Gillian still a child in their eyes? This is beyond wrong, I would never let my loved ones enter this circle if such popular artists are exploited in this manner. I really feel sorry for these poor artists and I hate the villain behind the camera.
