i think the cast is an okay .. but its like this combination ive never seen actually .. i mean moses, steven and sonija i can imagine .. but i thought tavia was like younger than all of them .. for so far i think moses with tavia would be more interesting ..
i dont really care about the minor roles .. except john chiang .. i just started disliking this actor .. hes not even that good so i might wanted to see someone else .. cant think of anyone yet but ..

like i mentioned in the initial thread, i think it would have been nicer if Charmaine was in this.. she matches both Moses and Steven well. and she looks great in Qing Period drama.

Tavia's ok, but just not a fan. She was good in Prince's Shadow but her character was too annoying (prefered Sheren and Joyce Tang)

Sonija was horrible in PITNOL and Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion and ok in Lok Sun.. and she does look pretty good in the pictures. lets hope she's improved.

and I hate John Chiang. his face and acting annoys the hell out of me.

if the producer think tavia is the best choice for this drama, that means charmaine is not even in their consideration field and i would say, that is a good choice they made. its not a question of who will play the role better, it is a matter of she's not even considered. and 2 claps worth for the producers' choice.

i think the only person i like out of all the main cast is prob tavia yeung....as for the rest....i'm not really into them..esp sonija kwok...she kinda pisses me off

I actually want them to mix it up just a lil bit...I mean Moses with Kenny (WAB and DOP) and yeah it has the same atmosphere as DOP...but I can't think of a better cast right now (besides a short outburst of RAYMOND anywhere near Tavia haha....) But Steven and Tavia is cute...must keep. Sonjia is pretty good for this role, I mean she improved. Who else can they use besides Moses?

woah what about Chi Lam? I wanna see a Chi Lam- Tavia- Steven triangle! That would be awesome.

I like all 4 leads although I'm kinda indifferent towards Tavia. She looks really pretty in these ancient costumes but her roles in the past never impressed me. She is always playing the same types of characters (not her fault though) and it seems like it's going to be the same in LOW.

I do like Steven and Tavia but then Steven isn't even the first choice for his role, it was Kevin Cheng. I've seen Kevin with Tavia before in Yummy Yummy so it's good that she is working with someone else.

can you guys imagine kevin, raymond, and chilam being bald... a big no no from me...

i remember there were rumors that said kevin rejected the part 'cause he didnt want to be bald... but then again he said that wasnt the problem...

kevin would be terrible in this series.. he'd be the equivalent of leo ku in Princess Pearl III. skinny and not right for the part.

also seems he's not fit to play a rich character so to speak.

so far, i think steven and tavia looks quitte cute together, despite the age gap...
moses's character has some resemblance to DOP...i think he can do better...

anyway, im tired of moses, i like him and all, but i seem him everywhere now, and this character seems too much like his previous ones...however im excited to see what can happen between moses and tavia and also steven and tavia....maybe some fireworks could happen
also, i kinda dont like sonija, maybe someone else in that role....hmmm

I like steven i think he plays this role really well. i think kevin wld be rather bad in this role. i just can't picture him in it. i don't think iv'e ever seen him in ancient series. moses is ok tho i like tavia with steven more they're cuter. she looks weird with moses maybe bc he looks a lot older. sowie but i can't stand sonjia. i find her really painful to watch so but i guess age wise she matches with moses and john. can't think of who to replace her with cept maybe charmaine. most of the other actresses are either a bit too old or too young.

I agree that steven is suited very well with the role he currently plays. Kevin would have been weird as I only can see him in modern series. Ancient series is just weird with kevin.

Although tavia is younger than the rest but i like tavia and steven as a couple. They actually don't look that bad. Sonjia and Moses is alright as well.

Nah after watching this series a bit I'm glad they put Steven in here with Tavia...(I'm waiting for a REAL good series for Fungyi to be paired up again LoL Stevia has a tragic ending in LOW...I don't want to face another TOB ending!!!! Raymond can take over Bosco's role in the 40 episode series so he can be with his girl LoL)

I just want to get rid of Moses...true I can't imagine Chi Lam bald but I would like to see Chi Lam paired with Tavia hehe um...who does look good in bald? Nah can't think of anyone but I would certainly like someone to replace Moses...

NOWAY I would keep Sonjia instead of having Charmaine! I think Sonjia is doing a pretty decent job...Charmaine always gets those characters!

i'm pretty happy about the casting.. but john chiang is starting to piss me off... he's playing that "i'm really good and i kno it" character again.. but then that's the character's fault, not the actual actor..

I think so far I don't have much complaints on the cast..except for Moses. His acting is almost similar in most of his series and he hasn't improved much IMO. A little exaggeration as well (especially when his family was killed) and sometimes he looks like a duck

Another thing is that usually I don't like Sonija but she's fairly alright in here. Steven the Tavia FTW!

the casts are not bad. the combinations are new and are more interesting as using the same old partners again. couples or partners that work together too many times do not really give surprises and we dont really see sparks anymore.

i don't like the fact that tavia gets paired with moses! it should be tavia and steven

the cast combo is new but i think it worked out good in the series. i agree on the pairing of the couples being weird. Some of the cast were also in dance of a passion so that was bit weird as well but they did a good job.

i dont like the cast in land of wealth. im not sure who the producer is but im assuming that the producer is also the same producer as war and beauty. im tired of seeing moses, kenny and steven's dad in every serie.

i thought the 'love scenes' were rather draggy... i would have prefer more plots with the banks and the family..

I think the cast is great, except I think tvb can find another person to replace Erica's role. Her acting sounds awful in this series. I was thinking maybe Belinda Hamlett or Bernice Liu will fit this role. They have this modern look on their face. Putting them on screen would change the audience's view.

at first, i loved the cast in the land of wealth...steven ma with yeung yee and moses chan with sonjia kwok...but then towards the end...sonjia marries the old guy and yueng yee ended up marrying moses,,,,WTH!!! this is the reason why i stopped watching it....grrr...and i loved it too cuz i was hoping to see those pairs together....

i think the cast was pretty good. i can't imagine any1 else playing the part of fan zi chei besides moses and i think tavia's acting has improved in this series. i thought the tavia-moses pairing was okay.

I think the cast is great especially Sonja. She is looking more and more attractive

I love the cast, I never imagined Tavia and Steven together but it's a pretty good couple. Sonija has improved alot, in the past series, i found her quite annoying...

Moses is pretty good, I've never had a problem with him, but i never liked him either...

BUT I AM A BIG FAN OF STEVEN'S! i think he's adorable in this series... ;D

as for Kevin in place of Steven, i think the director did the right thing by putting Steven in.

I can't really imagine him in a series like this, most of his series are modern time series and it's usually comedy. He's cute and everything, but he isn't that great of an actor. Sorry!
