Sharon Chan Man Chi and Rain Li Choi Wah's features look very much alike. For people who do not know, they appear to be twin sisters.
Sharon's goal is to become #1 Sister; hopefully she will be able to realize this goal in the near future.

It is Rain's first time interviewing someone and she chose good friend Sharon Chan. Since meeting on the set of "Dream of Colors," Sharon and Rain have gotten along like sisters.

Their lives share certain similiarities as well, such as both Sharon and Rain's fathers dying early and leaving both women in financial hardship and emotional sadness.

Sharon faced life's hardships with even more strength than Rain. Despite overcoming her struggles, both Sharon and Rain said the extreme hardships were difficult for outside people to understand.

R= Rain; S=Sharon

R= Both of us started out as models; at that time many people said that we looked alike already.

S= When you became a model, I was already modeling for several years. At the time I found you to be very pretty. Many photographers mistakenly called me "Rain" at the time. Did you have people mistake me for you too?

R= I never had the experience.

S= Now it happens even more frequently, since [you] have a lot of exposure and many people realize that we are good friends.

Meeting for the First Time

R= The first time I met you at the radio station, we were both singers. I praised you that you had your nails nicely done.

S= I was taking music lessons from my music instructor at the time. We started our singing careers at the same time, but despite our encounters, we did not exchange phone numbers. It wasn't until we filmed "Dream of Colors" that we got to know each other better during 3 months of filming. Since we were good friends in the series too, it improved our real life friendship too.


R= It's hard for me to warm up to people. Usually after filming a series, I will not stay in touch with my co-stars. For example after filming 《九龍冰室》, I did not stay in touch with Ekin Cheng as it is difficult for men and women to be true friends.

S= Actually I didn't do anything special to [stay in touch with people] but I am selective in choosing my friends. My friends say I have an undescribale attraction, but my mother insists that my passionate nature places me at a disadvantage.

Hurt by Love

R= During the filming of "Dream of Colors," your father passed away and you broke up with ex-boyfriend Matt Yeung Ming, did it affect your temperament?

S= Everyone knew about my father's death since the press covered it. As for breaking up with Matt, I did not publicize it, but if anyone asked, I would honestly reply. I knew that after acknowledging it once, then no one will mention it again. During that time, I was very depressed, but I am happy to have a friend like you. You are like a little angel, always so happy. You had a chubby and rosy face and you always liked to eat, which balanced my moodiness.

R= I was scared at the time you refused to eat.

S= The 2 of us ate 4 [dishes], but you ate the most of the food! But because I was with you, I was able to eat a little food. You dropped by my home often then, making our friendship grow closer. It is hard to find a close friend like you even outside of the entertainment circle. Our friendship is very special and it is easy for us to read each other's minds, although sometimes we only see each other a few times during the year.

R= Earlier when I was filming overseas, I felt very lonely. Luckily you wrote me letters to keep me company, which I still kept.

Goal: To Become #1 Sister

R= You started as a model, then became a singer and finally joined TVB. What was your original goal?

S= I prefer singing, so was hoping for a good music career.

R= It's different from your current goal?

S= My path was not set on a specific direction; I took it a step at a time (as it has been with my life). Aside from love, many things may change unexpectedly. But heaven has treated me well. Although I was focused on singing, it doesn't mean that the results were ideal. At the time, I was extremely disappointed, but luckily my family & friends supported me and I was able to bounce back. After becoming a host, my income and financial stability improved.

R= Your goal is to become #1 Sister?

S= Yes I have thought about it. Especially since I am aging (I'm 27 years old)...but I know there is still a long distance from becoming #1 Sister.

Rumors Flying Everywhere

R= Aren't you afraid of rumors, since the press loves to report on the competition between actresses? Do you think that's true?

S= You have known me for so long, you know I am not that type of person. I have many friends who are #1 Sisters. (Don't you think sometimes it's a bit superficial?) I don't care if they are being superficial, as long as I treat them with sincerity.

R= Your most publicized romance was with Matt Yeung Ming. Afterwards, there were rumors with Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, Raymond Lam Fung and Timmy Hung Tin Ming....

S= The only real relationship was with Matt. We were together for 4 years and we shared many happy and unhappy moments together. Since breaking up, we are still friends now. (Matt had a lot of problems recently?) I understand Matt's personality very well. He needs to help himself because other people can not help him. Each time, I will call him to talk because I want him to realize that there are people who still care about him, that he should not give up on himself.

Relying on Own Efforts

R= You're a very tough person?

S= People think I am tough, but I am a weak person who easily cries. (Without your father here, it must have been very tough?) It's not the financial hardship, but emotionally it's been very difficult. But without doubt, without my father here, we have less income. There were financial obstacles, but I have overcome them. You also understand that when times were tough, they were really tough and no one could help you.

Epilogue:

Sharon has been busy filming "Welcome to the House" every Monday through Sunday. But since Rain wanted to interview her, Sharon took 2 hours out of her busy schedule to meet up. Sharon kissed Rain goodbye, upon which Rain thanked her for her time. Sharon said, "Don't be silly! No need to say thanks!"

When Sharon left in a rush, she indented her car accidentally, leaving another mark of the deep friendship between the 2 sisters!

No Feelings Passed Between Ron and Rain
Ron Ng, Rain Li, Stephen Fung and Rosemary took part as models in a fashion show held for Columbia Outdoor Technology Show. Ron and Rain modelled the new matching outfits on the stage and held hands with each other, but when they were asked to hold hands for photos off stage, they bluntly refused.

Afterwards, they denied that they were worried about rumours breaking. Rain said: "Before it was because the job needed it to create a feeling of lovers on the stage. I have known Ron from when I started in the industry. (Did you meet through Raymond Lam?) You could say that. (Are you worried about rumours so you aren't holding hands?) No, there will not be any. My mother says he is very charming and I find him quite handsome too, but he is just a handsome friends, there are no romantic feelings. (Only with Raymond then?) What? I have been filming all night and you have just woken me up with shock!"

Ron explains: "She is a girl, of course she wil be embarrassed. I don't mind. (Afraid of rumours?) No, rumours are not up to me, I have known her from when she filmed 'Lofty Waters Verdant Bow' and at the time she was a leading part and I was a soldier standing to one side. (Now you are level?) Don't put it like that, it is thanks to the opportunities the company has given me. I was still learning at the time."

As for his series "War and Destiny" being criticised for beautifying the Japanese invasion of China, Ron says that he does not agree and supports the script for being realistic. He also adds that his character will turn against the Japanese in the end. When Rain was on the catwalk, the zip on her jacket got caught and she had some problems taking it off, leaving her a little embarrassed. Afterwards she says she was a little flustered, but fortunately she managed to compose herself and appear calm.

Rain Li: I Have a Better Figure Than Fala Chen

Fala Chen and Rain Li were hot on the catwalk as they modeled various bikinis. Despite having a less fuller figure than Fala, Rain was first to hit the catwalks as she modeled two different bikinis. The two young actresses were both definitely competing against each other, which resulted with Rain unable to accept her loss as she made snide comments about her opponent.

Fala Chen, Rain Li and top models Rosemary and Cara G modeled at the 'Speedo Make Waves Party'. Fala, Rosemary and Cara G stole the spotlight as they looked extremely sexy while modeling different bikinis, causing male onlookers to look on eagerly, take photos and let out whistles. But on the other hand, Rain, who was first to hit the cat walks, not only did she lack sexiness but was also covered up by a shawl and so, could not be compared with the other three.

After the show, Rain firmly stated that the outfits had been planned by the organisers and denied that she was afraid of having her figure compared with Fala. Rain said, "Why did I not model 3 sets of bikinis? This was already organised. (Do you feel like you have lost?) People will get bored after seeing it too much. (Are you afraid of being compared to Fala on the spot?) Why? I did not purposely want to wear those bikinis. (Spotlight was stolen by Fala?) I don't think so, the most important thing is that the end result looks beautiful. I am not use to wearing bikinis in front of so many people but Fala has worn them during beauty pageants. She is very natural when she wears bikinis, while I am a bit scared. (Will you dare compete with Fala again?) Do not call it a competition, the most important thing is that everything turns out pretty." Rain then praised Fala for having a good body structure and was surprised to see that Fala was as tall as her. When asked who she believes to have the better figure, Rain expressed that it is best if it looks natural and that she believes that her figure is slightly better than Fala's.

When the show finished, Fala immediately went to change before emerging fully dressed to do interviews. Fala said, "Yes, I was afraid of accidental exposure! That is why I have changed. (You were the most sexy today?) Everyone looked amazing, Rosemary was so calm! (You stole the spotlight?) No no! Rain Li is also very beautiful, I really like her hairstyle. (She said that her figure is better than yours!) She is slightly taller than me, so I have lost a bit height wise." Regarding reports saying that she has been cheaply hired to attend functions, Fala expressed that she is not aware how much other people are paid and that her jobs are managed by TVB.

Thanks for the news dee-lush. The reporter is trying to promote Fala while degrading Rain. so sad, they twist the words and everything around it. I don't think Rain would ever say that to ruin her image.

anyway, have you guys seen any new series of her. Where's all of her new movies and news? The last movie I saw of Rain is On the Edge, and it was so good, she's so cute wih Nick Cheung.

I went around on Internet and saw a page of Rain in it, she's in some of kind of movie, and it looks funny, I think it's kind of about sex or something, but she's hilarious.

Beside, I believe Rain play in "Death Forest" with Ekin Cheng and Shu Qi which had been released for awhile. It's a suspense and thriller story and movie. It's pretty good and Rain has many screen too! Here's a few pics:

Thanks sweetrain. I want to watch Forest of Death too since Rain is in it, and glad to know that she has a lot of screentime, because I would have thought that she has the cameo role since Shu Qui is the main leading actress. But I'm scared of scary movie.

Yeah! I agree with you. I heard only some news nowadays, not much recent news anymore. Anyway, "Forest of Death" isn't that scary and it's mostly about the forest bringing justice and if you're not scare of it or have a pure heart than you won't fear or something like that. There's not much thrilling scene.

she's so skinny. I know she tall and has a somewhat longer face instead of a rounder face like most actress but she is way too skinny. I see her bones popping out especially in the pix with her and ray. I am watching her newest movie called "the single blog" and she is so skinny. Raymond's becoming a singer and signs with entertainment, he's probaly going into filming and movie, so hopefully, they'll get to cooperate in another movie, since Stolen Love is Raymond's first movie with Rain, and he hasn't acted in move since then.
