L DIED!???!!!

I was kinda expecting it, since he died in the manga, but after watching the trailer and reading an article in a magazine, which said that the ending is different from that of the manga, I had my hopes high that MAYBE L didn't die in the movie...well that could at least make me feel better after reading the manga. I was so sad, I cried!

but he died!!!?? ARGH!!!!!!!!!

I guess the sole comfort is that he managed to get Light. Its all the fault of the death gods!

I LOVE THE MANGA & MOVIE!!!! It was soooo good! I didn't get to watch the first or second at the movie theatre (unfortunately, so I haven't watched the second one yet T-T) but I watched the first one on tape that my friend in japan taped for me when it was out on television! it was soooo good.

I loved L the best!!!!

In the beginning of Death Note movie, I didn't like it that much. It was way different than the anime, but near the end of the movie, it started to get interesting, esp. at the part with the male FBI.

Death Note is super cool..love L alot...the way he loves to eat sweet things

well i think the complaint is kinda stupid...like...it worked for him to act is raito.,...he was actually quite good come to think of it...but i just hav to say matsuyama was so KAWAII...lol i LOVE his lolly kebab...

wen i first watched it (cos like i havent read the manga or anything, first time) it was kinda confusing but i kinda got it...the preview just makes me so anxious to watch the nxt movie!!! out in 2007 DVD right or something...i found wen raito used to chip packet thing quite smart but L actually found out...smart...cant wait til nxt movie!!!

This is a great movie, I recommend it to all . You shold also see the manga and the anima. Is much different from the movie.

Initially i was rather skeptical about watching japanese manga made movie...since i am not a good fan of jap. manga....but after i was dragged by my friends to watch this...

i was really happy that i have watched this....i cant wait for DEATH NOTE 2...!!! is coming soon...

There is going to be a "Death Note Gaiden". This time, L will be the main character, taking place before the events of Kira. The release date is approximately 2007.

If you remember the story, about the ex-FBI agent, Naomi, L once mentioned working with her on a mass murder case. The movie will be revolving around that story. This was never elaborated in the manga series, so the story will be new to all fans.

i really liked Death Note 1 but i have never read the manga or watched the anime.
the preview made me so excited to watch the second movie... i wonder for how long i'll have to wait because it won't be airing where i live.
