I heard there's going to be a spin-off of the film. They're gona make a film about L. But when is death note 2 going to be out on DVD?

i liked the movie. i can't wait to see part two. the way part one ended made me have the "wait! what's going to happen next?!?!?!" feeling. heehee. i've never read the manga though, but i've seen some of the anime.

The movie is not exactly same as the manga tho. I got so hooked up with the storyline after i watched the movie, made me finish the whole manga in a few days.

No doubt it was a great movie, L is cool.

i think she was Ayase's best friend in Tatta Hitotsu no Koi? or maybe not, they just looked alike. i dont remember her being in NwP though. and i agree she looks like Maki's friend in Kurosagi aswell.

and i really liked Deathnote 1 and 2. the plot was pretty cool but i guess the story is a bit far fetched. and Light and L were both really smart. Light was hotter but i liked L better coz his personality is different. i like the shinigami's the best tho xD

I like this movie, but i still voted for "who cares cute guys= im there" hahaha acutally i saw this movie because i saw the poster in Hong Kong and thought they were cute, haha but i read a litto in the manga too ^^

I prefer L, he´s cute....and smart! i like his eyeliner stuff, haha

and Kira...turns out to be kind of crazy!at first he was like cool. thinking of justice and stuff, but then he killed some innocent polic men.

When I watched it yesterday...the subtitle is so bad so I decided not to watch it...
But now...I realize that it's better to watch it rather than waiting too long...

I watched the first one and I was surprised by how good it was. It was so fitting with the manga. The writer is a genius for coming up with such a awesome storyline. I can't wait to see the second one... too bad youtube took it down, I saved the link and was going to watch it during the weekend and it was already taken down by then.

I knew that there was an anime for Death Note but I didnt watch it. After I found out that the is a live-action movie out and that Tatsuya Fujiwara was in it, I decide to watch it because Battle Royale was my fav. japanese movie and tatsuyawas in it. Watched it. After the movie............................DEATH NOTE IS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so cool, writing names in the notebook and they died. AND AND AND he so clever about how he plans the deaths! It's so cool!! Cant wait for the second to come out!!! My apologise for sounding weird *bows* lol

I thought the movie wasn't too bad. It was really funny. XD I'm pretty sure people who have heart attacks don't foam and bleed from the mouth and then just drop dead. There's some length to heart attacks, right? ^_____^ In the manga, Raito got dumber after L died. That's all I have to say.

i just watched this movie today....i never read the manga nor seen the anime b4, but i liked the movie a lot......now, it makes me want to read the manga...i'm still waitin for the subs for the 2nd movie....i liked Light a lot until he turned evil and killed the innocent FBI's and his own gf....i thought L was creepy at first but then i find him and his habits very cute....loved it wen he had all those sweets and junk food....he's always eatin...heheh....therefore, i like L more...

just watch the first part and i find it pretty good. i notice that Light is a little uncomfortable sometimes (i mean the body when he's standing or walking...) The actor who play L is amazing! so natural!! he has the brain but looks like a psycho, totally love him...it's so exciting to see them fight and determine who is the smartest between them. i can't wait to watch the second part now...

Death Note sure is an awesome movie. Luckily I didn't read the manga or watch the anime yet, so as soon as I watch the movie, I was so hook into it. It made me download the 2nd movie right away xD.

I like L's character. He can talk with a straight face. It's so funny. The funniest part is when L heard of Death God on Sakura TV and fell down his chair. haha

Oh, did anyone notice in Death Note 2 when Light die, you can still see his stomach moving? LOL

I haven't read the manga but I was able to watch the cartoon version and the movie. Sorry but I liked the cartoon version better. I wasn't happy with how Light was portrayed or played in the movie. It seemed to lack something.. I don't know.. depth?
