yeah, loll.. but i really think the benci jadi cinta copied my girl really badly..

it is part of their marketing anyway. Since korean dramas are sooo popular. movies are even more popular, they need to market their dramas in order to make the audience watch it..... well... i don;t think only in Indonesia that copies korean shows.... i think if you really look around, maybe you can even see your own country copying a little part of the korean dramas into their own dramas... just like my country,.,,

Well, no matter how small it is, stealing should be considered as stealing. Especially when the scene remind people of another movie or drama. I'm pretty annoyed by the fact that those production houses steals other people's stories.

I don't mind if they do the adaptations. Everybody did that. But with permission. Lake's House asked permissions to copy Il Mare. And it is written clearly.

Did the Indo's production house do that? I believe there are many that are made without permissions.

Geez, I hope the original maker read this and sued them.

Indonesian entertainment love to copy foreign shows, doesnt only happen to korean shows but also taiwanese shows, and american shows..

basically i just hate how they kept on copying.. its like they dont have any creativity.. and if its 'adapted' but have diffferent storyline then its alright.. but theyre copying it completely.. *sighs*

and honestly i'm shame on those PHs who always copied taiwanese/korean/chinese dramas...
it began when they copied "meteor garden" back then then they seemed never stop making those productions although many people already complaining about it..

but it's the television production and just some of PHs who did that..
i have to admitted that indonesian movie production is getting more big and creative now, since indonesian people are sick with those copied dramas...

well, we can't blamed them...

hehe if you are able to watch sinetron then you will know that all the sinetron they aired "everday" are the copied one. and the funny thing is: there are 2 tv stations aired 2 sinetron which is another copy of devil beside you. the sinetron made by different house production but with the same storyline. ?

i think i dont care if they<indonesian> copy another countries drama <maybe i just laugh> but why they copy a dorama which is based on a true story and make it more and more meaningless. they also write a note in the end of the drama "hanya fiktif belaka" <only fiction>

and for your note this drama is a special drama for christmas. it will end in the christmas so for the ost they use some christian song.

one of the indonesian magazine interview a director who make a copy of the drama. he says that he realize that he is copying the drama but cant help it because he got no fresh idea anymore.

Everything seems to be perfect for Nayla, she’s always a bright, diligent,always happy, basketball talented. She is also very devoted to her religion. In school, she is the class leader and meets this handsome senior (Senpai)
But despite of all this perfection, actually, Nayla suffers a severe disease because soon she will be totally paralyzed. She hasn’t found out though. Dr Fritz who examine her asks her to write a diary (actually Dr Fritz wants her to do this so he can always monitor Nayla’s health development)

A couple of days later, Martha sees dr Fritz in order to take the Nayla’s examination result.. Martha is very surpised when knowing what disease Nayla has to bear. She let Nayla know nothing about this. One day, Nayla meets a patient who has the same symptoms like hers.

Nayla asks her doctor. Dr. Fritz refuses to tell her because he thinks he doesn’t have any right to tell her. Nayla’s health becomes worse. Martha, unwillingly, tells her what is happening to her body. Nayla isn’t surprised anymore, she already know about her condition and what will come to her.

Nayla,now, has to be sat on electric wheel chair. Fortunately, Nayla has good friends who always be there for her. She also has Moses who falls in love with her and always take cares her. But there is also some of her friends who finally start to feel annoyed being in the same class with Nayla

Time goes by, Nayla successfully graduate. Her friends start to think about their future plan, entering university. Nayal is sad. The only one that makes her feel better is to write. She keeps writing eventhough her hands start to be difficult to move. Meanwhile, Moses managed to enter medical school-which wasn’t his dream at first. He wants to become doctor so he can heal Nayla.

Nayla realizes that her existence might be not long anymore, and it will hurt Moses badly. Nayla determines to call their relationship off. But secretly, Moses never takes his eyes from Nayla

Nayla’s disease grow stronger and faster than Dr Fritz’s preidiction. There are times, Nayla almost die because of choking and difficult to breath. But Nayla always fight for her disease and not forget to pray. She send her writings to some magazine. People who read is moved by her strong will.

In the Christmas eve, Moses reads Nayla’s letter. At the same time, Nayla is struggling with her disease.
There are many people who becomes stronger in facing their lives because of Nayla’s writing. That proves, even Nayla’s physic so weak, she could still do something on helping people, the way like she dreams

Nayla smiles happily. There is no other thing she wants to find in this world
Anymore.

I`m Indonesian too.....and i dont watch "sinetron" that much, my roommates do, haha, so i know some of them. Yes i agree mostly of those "sinetron" just copied by lots of korean, taiwanese, even indian etc i dunno. And as for me, i just look for the original ones

I'm indonesian and i'm so ashamed of my country because many movie maker copied korean, japan and taiwan drama. Not only benci bilang cinta and benci jadi cinta, there are also buku harian nayla(japan series),pengantin remaja, kawin muda, pengantin kecil (three of them copied my little bride),penyihir cinta (aqmfs).

I don't mind remake of series and dramas. It happens all the time, for example, The Condor Heros by Jing Yong in China or Hana Yori Dango and Meteor Garden. What pisses me off is the copying without permission that gets to me. I just finish "1 Litre of Tears" and found out that "Buku Harian Hayla" is a copy of the story without permission. This series was based off a true story. The events that happen in the show was lived through by real life people and the fact that they don't acknowledge it, show me the the filmmaker have no respect. They should be ashame of themselves and I have no respect for them. I wish there was a way to get how angry I am across. I think if it was not a true story I would not have reacted so strongly. I wish there was a way to let them know how disappointed I am in them like boycott any copied drama without permission, protest or something. Unfortunately, I am in the US and I can't walk up to the production company office and let them know what I feel.

I had no idea until today how many Indonesian dramas are copycats without consent. I have seen some of the title but back then I assumed they was just Indonesian version of the title of the drama not actually a copycat.

Eyerybody see that they are from the Southeastasians Islands XD~ It' s very difficult for Indonesians to 'looks' like Koreans, but it's okay that they copy Korea.

But Thailand makes the best films of Southeast Asia XP~ corporate with Korea, HK and Japan ^^

I agree with Orchid i sometimes like to see remakes of things to seee how they turn out in another culture and language but it gets silly when they do it none stop. I mean 1 litre of tears was one of my fav dramas and with its true story is not some romance idol drama that should be remade just for some profit. Also i think they should lay of taiwan dramas since taiwan had just started to get alot of fame for their good dramas (no they do not rip of K drama their style is different) so its not fair to take their hard work just because its famous. Korean dramas though have been around for longer so.

Its fine to remake things, but nothing worse than seeing something u love get made into a cheap remake because its like its insulting it.

i agree thats what makes countries remembered for being orginal for their drama ideas, like korean making some of the best dramas from their own ideas, and japan. Taiwan came up with the making manga into dramas idea on their own and its great!

i believe indonesia has the good actors they just keep ripping off other dramas, worst id they take the most popular ones that are going to be hard to copy the orginal and try and scrape of that.

That is no good in order to make a name for their dramas they need a good idea, i mean your right loads of fan stories on the internet, or just copy the themes like love but not another dramas story line.

i`m really sorry for all mistakes that indonesian have done.. like.. always and always copy Korean, Taiwan, and Japan`s drama. i know this is fault, and i hate them too. but.. PH in Indonesia.. dont wanna hear what we talking about their drama.. they have so many reasons to attack us.

As many other sensible Indonesians, I'm ashamed that now our production houses keep copying K-Drama or J-Drama.
I don't think it is true that we're running out good stories. Check out our teenlit industry, it's booming. Not to mention some serious novels. Look at the amount of people joining those writing classes or writer groups, such as Forum Lingkar Pena (FLP). Seriously, these writers have produced many good stuffs (I befriended some of them). Why don't those PHs buy their stories and make them into Sinetron. Remember when we only had few novels with good drama stories to offer, from writers like Mira W, Marga T and few others; still we produced dramas with high quality stories such as "Cinta" (oh, it's a classic, one of the best ever), "Karmila", "Pernikahan Dini", "Lupus", "Siti Nurbaya" and many others. We also have comedy Drama with strong moral message, originally Indonesian, like "Kiamat Sudah Dekat", "Si Doel Anak Sekolahan", and "Bajaj Bajuri". Now, with these booming of writers in Indonesia, we should have more to offer.
So I think those PHs were lying when they say they're running out stories. They just wanna get easy money, that's why they copy Korean or Japanese Drama without even asking permission. Shame on them.

Its ashame they do not use those writers stories then! since i bet thats alot of good ideas gone to waste......hate to see talent wasted.

Its bad because they always rip off the most popular dramas i noticed..which is going to get alot of fans annoyed since it willl be hard to replace it whether japanese, korean or taiwanese.

the worst thing of this 'copy' story thing is they just make the beginning very exact the same, and then as time went by, they got such a great rating, they just wouldn't stop the story there..
thay was like continuing the story by their own idea, which is very annoyed cause it will ruin the whole pure story line!!

I have watch the some of the drama being copy and yes they're almost similar, but there are some twist to the story also. anyways
