Episode 1
Hyun Woo (Kim Rae Won) goes on a plane to attend Harvard Law School and meets Jin Ah (Kim Min) on the plane. She tells him that she knows the book that he is reading. Hyun Woo is curious but doesn't talk much and is not able to find out who she is. With the help of his future fiance, Seul Gi (Jung Sol Hee), he stays at a motel before he movies into his room at the dorms. He meets Soon In (Kim Tae Hee) at the motel. He mistakes her as a prostitue when he sees her going into a room with a middle-aged man. Hyun Woo goes to Professor Oh (Oh Young Jae/Kang Nam Gil) for advice on school. He is surprised to see Soo In helping the professor take his clothes off in the office. Hyun Woo follows Soo In to figure out what was going on. He is introduced to his dorm people at a dinner that his roommate John Ford takes him to. They all have incredible backgrounds and he also meets Jung Min (Lee Jung Jin) at that dinner. Jung Min tells Hyun Woo tho study a little more before going around telling everyone that he's from Korea. At the freshman welcome party, Hyun Woo sees Soo In again with a famous lawyer, James Yoo (Johnny Yoon). He also sees the woman he saw on the plane. During the party James Yoo faints grabbing his chest and Soo In does emergency procedures..
Episode 2
Hyun Woo is confused by Soo In. Soo In goes to a small run-down restaurant with no customers to meet her father Yong Gu (Joo Hyun). Yong Gu promises her daughter that he'll recover and lets out a sigh. Soo In goes to the library because she has nowhere to sleep and meets Hyun Woo
Hyun Woo still mistakes her for a prostitue and threatens her that he'll call security. He stays up all night preparing for Professor Keynes' lecture but Keynes purposefully does not let him participate. Hyun Woo tries to join a study group that John Ford is in, but they don't let him in the group. He wanders not being able to join any group. He ends up hiring a tutor through Seul Gi. Soo In walks in as the tutor. Hyun Woo is bewildered. He finds out that Soo In is a medical student and that the middle-aged man was her father.
Hyun Woo also finds out that Soo In was simply checking up on Professor Oh because his health is in poor condition. All of his questions are answered. He is also surprised that Soo In studies, holds a part time job, and volunteers to take care of an Aids patient. Hyun Woo goes to lecture and formally argues with Professor Keynes that he is being purposefully excluded from the class. After the argument, Professor Keynes finally gives him the right to participate.
Episode 3
Hyun Woo and Jung Min argue to go on a date with Soo In. Soo In tells Hyun Woo that she already arranged to go with Jung Min and disappoints him. Hyun Woo joins the volunteer group that helps aids patients to get Soo In's attention. Professor Keynes announces a mock trial competition. He says he will choose two teams based on the pleadings they submit. Jung Min recieves help from Jin Ah's law firm and prepares with his study group. Both teams submit a pleading using the same case as the subject. Keynes chooses both of them. Hyun Woo finds out that Soo In was depressed recently because the football player aids patient passed away. He cheers her up on the football field, and attempts a surprise kiss...
Episode 4
Jung Min is mad at the sight of Soo In and Hyun Woo. Jung Min prepares for the mock trial competition with Jin Ah's help. He also hides all of the case study books so that Hyun Woo's group can't find them.
Hyun Woo gets mad and goes at Jung Min but Jing Min hits Hyun Woo. Jung Min is confused when he finds out that Hyun Woo is the son of a famous layer. He is even more determined to win the competition. Hyun Woo meets the victim's family but to no avail. He finds a clue while playing around with Seul Gi.
Finally the mock trial begins. Jung Min argues based on the facts that Jin Ah and James Yoo taught him. Hyun Woo wins by stating the crucial reason. Hyun Woo and Soo In celebrate their victory, and Jung Min tells Jin Ah that his father committed suicide because of Hyun Woo's father...
Episode 5
Soo In decides to help a patient despite Jung Min's warning. The person starts to breathe again but remaing unconscious. Soo In and the professor are accused of treating a patient without a medical license. Soo In is put in a dilemma. Hyun Woo tries to help Soo In but the situation doesn't get much better. The patient then finally regains consciousness.
However, Hyun Woo is shocked to find out that the patient's guardian is preparing a lawsuit after being persuaded by Jin Ah. Jin Ah asks Jung Min to be a witness and puts him in a tight situation. Hyun Woo looks up other case histories to help Soo In and tries to meet the patient despite the visitor restriction. Hyun Woo looks at Jin Ah and Jung Min when they run into each other in front of the patient's room.
Episode 6
Jung Min receives an opportunity to work as a clerk at the federal court as Jin Ah planned. Jung Min feels held back because of Soo In's problem, but he heads for the interview anyways. Soo In attends the disciplinary committee meeting. Hyun Woo finally finds a way to help Soo In with Professor Keynes' help. Right before the final decision is announced, Hyun Woo gives the Good Samaritan as an example and the committee decides to not hold Soo In responsible. Jin Ah notifies Hyun Woo and Soo In that the patient's guardian decided to drop all charges. Soo In and Hyun Woo are excited, and Jung Min who left the interview to come help Soo In is disappointed at the sight of the two.
Soo In and Hyun Woo don't have much time to spend as Soo In leaves for her volunteer trip right after. Soo In and Hyun Woo borrow a beautiful vacation house and go together. Soo In tells a playful Hyun Woo that they mst part. The next day, Soo In leaves Hyun Woo...
