you are going to miss out on such great drama just because they have bad english? heh.. this is one of the greatest dramas!! considering that they are koreans who probably haved lived in korea all thier lives thier english is not that bad..
OK i take back what i said...the series isn't as bad as i thought it was going to be, the second episode was much better than the first...appalling beginning might i add. The english is horrendous 
...i cringe everytime Rae Won and Chong Jin speak but Tae Hee's english is not bad...not as good as Full House though. Aiii...taking YONKS to download, only on episode 4...

Just finished watching this one. It is good. The story was interesting. Interesting and really cute lead actors. Yeah the actors who supposedly were raised in the USA spoke really not passable English. Kim Tae Hee's English was good though. It is fun to watch and nice ending.

I've watched this series a while ago. Liked the story line...but the English is definitely pretty bad...
Currently,Malaysia television channel,8tv is airing 'Love Story In Harvard'.I have watched up to episode 10.At first,I did not have the intention to watch this series since I thought the series was not that good,however as I watched the episode 1,I found that movies was good.It was a touching story.
I love the movie 'Love Story In Harvard' because the love story is so romantic and humourous as well.I like the korean actress 'Kim Tae Hee'.I think she is very fair and pretty.

i'm curious how this story goes cos if i'm not wrong, i think i've seen the sweet pretty actress acting as a really mean girl in stairway to heaven as Yoo-ri.

i have seen a couple eps of the serie. it's a good serie and also its great to see the girl being on the good side for a change. i think that acting a "good" character suits her. (o^ ^o)
I've missed the beginning, and managed to watch one episode only, where Kim Tae Hee got suspended. I think this series has its interesting parts, eventhough I've only watched one episode only. Gonna get the set. I'm starting to adore KRW after watching ...ing.

They look very good together in this drama, look forward to see them together in future. But, the chances for it to happen in real life would be very slim.

Hyun Woo still mistakes her for a prostitue and threatens her that he'll call security. He stays up all night preparing for Professor Keynes' lecture but Keynes purposefully does not let him participate. Hyun Woo tries to join a study group that John Ford is in, but they don't let him in the group. He wanders not being able to join any group. He ends up hiring a tutor through Seul Gi. Soo In walks in as the tutor. Hyun Woo is bewildered. He finds out that Soo In is a medical student and that the middle-aged man was her father.
Hyun Woo also finds out that Soo In was simply checking up on Professor Oh because his health is in poor condition. All of his questions are answered. He is also surprised that Soo In studies, holds a part time job, and volunteers to take care of an Aids patient. Hyun Woo goes to lecture and formally argues with Professor Keynes that he is being purposefully excluded from the class. After the argument, Professor Keynes finally gives him the right to participate.
Episode 3
Hyun Woo and Jung Min argue to go on a date with Soo In. Soo In tells Hyun Woo that she already arranged to go with Jung Min and disappoints him. Hyun Woo joins the volunteer group that helps aids patients to get Soo In's attention. Professor Keynes announces a mock trial competition. He says he will choose two teams based on the pleadings they submit. Jung Min recieves help from Jin Ah's law firm and prepares with his study group. Both teams submit a pleading using the same case as the subject. Keynes chooses both of them. Hyun Woo finds out that Soo In was depressed recently because the football player aids patient passed away. He cheers her up on the football field, and attempts a surprise kiss...

Hyun Woo gets mad and goes at Jung Min but Jing Min hits Hyun Woo. Jung Min is confused when he finds out that Hyun Woo is the son of a famous layer. He is even more determined to win the competition. Hyun Woo meets the victim's family but to no avail. He finds a clue while playing around with Seul Gi.
Finally the mock trial begins. Jung Min argues based on the facts that Jin Ah and James Yoo taught him. Hyun Woo wins by stating the crucial reason. Hyun Woo and Soo In celebrate their victory, and Jung Min tells Jin Ah that his father committed suicide because of Hyun Woo's father...
Episode 5
Soo In decides to help a patient despite Jung Min's warning. The person starts to breathe again but remaing unconscious. Soo In and the professor are accused of treating a patient without a medical license. Soo In is put in a dilemma. Hyun Woo tries to help Soo In but the situation doesn't get much better. The patient then finally regains consciousness.
However, Hyun Woo is shocked to find out that the patient's guardian is preparing a lawsuit after being persuaded by Jin Ah. Jin Ah asks Jung Min to be a witness and puts him in a tight situation. Hyun Woo looks up other case histories to help Soo In and tries to meet the patient despite the visitor restriction. Hyun Woo looks at Jin Ah and Jung Min when they run into each other in front of the patient's room.
Episode 6
Jung Min receives an opportunity to work as a clerk at the federal court as Jin Ah planned. Jung Min feels held back because of Soo In's problem, but he heads for the interview anyways. Soo In attends the disciplinary committee meeting. Hyun Woo finally finds a way to help Soo In with Professor Keynes' help. Right before the final decision is announced, Hyun Woo gives the Good Samaritan as an example and the committee decides to not hold Soo In responsible. Jin Ah notifies Hyun Woo and Soo In that the patient's guardian decided to drop all charges. Soo In and Hyun Woo are excited, and Jung Min who left the interview to come help Soo In is disappointed at the sight of the two.
Soo In and Hyun Woo don't have much time to spend as Soo In leaves for her volunteer trip right after. Soo In and Hyun Woo borrow a beautiful vacation house and go together. Soo In tells a playful Hyun Woo that they mst part. The next day, Soo In leaves Hyun Woo...

It is showing in Malaysia now!!! it is driving my friends crazy... I think it is a really romantic and sappy drama... it got me all teared up while watching it wiht my boyfriend... ALTHOUGH they came up with cancer scheme again..
Well, cancer or not, luckily it doesn't follow the usual typical sad ending where the female lead will just die.

Episode 7:
KRW is fighting against a strong and well known law firm but he is able to obtain a surprising evidence that becomes a big help to his case. His father introduces a well respected lawyer, Hwang yoo mi (jung lyuh wohn) as a candidate for KRW's future bride. KRW, who has forcefully met her, couldnt reject her so he makes her walk an hour long walk and buys her chicken feet for dinner. Yoo mi, understanding KRW's meaning, cleanly turns around without hesitation. The next day, KRW waits for a lawyer that he is suppose to work with. Uneventfully, Yoo mi shows up. KRW mouth drops open and he isnt able to shut it. Meanwhile, LJJ and Jina (Kim min) returns to Korea. KTH, who is also going to Korea in order to see her father, ends up meeting them. KRW, who was walking around with Yoo mi to fix things for his case, sees KTH....

KRW wildly runs around the subway station looking for KTH but in the end isnt able to obtain the miraculous reunion with her. KTH starts working as a volunteer in a hospital for foreign workers that her senior colleague runs. KRW ends up going to that hospital as a substitute for his senior colleage Sang Ho, who is working as a lawyer for foreign laborers. KRW and KTH end up meeting. KRW slaps KTH really hard. KRW and KTH are unable to say anything to each other and show an uneasy relationship. Then the two end up talking about how they really feel, resulting in heightened emotions, and causing them to shout and cry at each other. Meanwhile Sang Ho gets hit hard by LJJ and Jina (Kim min)'s law firm. Sang Ho, who was in a state of deep worry, dies of overexhaustion. After seeing Sang Ho die, KRW decides to overtake his case. Hearing that LJJ is part of the law firm that KRW is fighting against, gets infused. KRW, who was getting ready for this case, meets face to face with LJJ....

KRW concentrates soley on Sang ho's case. KTH goes to see KRW because she misses him, but he treats her coldly and talks to her formally. KTH isnt able to say anything and leaves after staying there mindlessly. Feeling bad and having heartache, he follows her out but is unable to meet her. Few days later, KRW goes to the victims village/town and sees KTH and Jason (the german guy). KTH and Jason opens a volunteer event to help the villagers. After seeing KTH angelic actions, Jason goes to the clinic that KTH is volunteering at and shows interest and promises to donate money. Jina (kim min) and LJJ leaves for the environmental pollution asia company after getting a page from them and jason, with a cold voice and expression, demands that they settle the case immediately.Meanwhile, LJJ calls KTH and makes cozy time for her at a nice, luxurious restaurant. When Jina finds out about this, she purposely lies to KRW that she needs to talk about the case with him and takes him to the same restaurant that LJJ and KTH are in. LJJ is startled and KTH, not knowing anything, is highly uncomfortable. Jina tells KTH that her and LJJ are engaged and harshly tells her not to see LJJ anymore. not being able to see KTH being treated so badly any longer, he takes KTH's wrist and stands up. KRW punches LJJ, who had followed them outside..

Hyun Woo would like Soo In to help him, and he tells Soo In that he will pay her for her works. Soo In reluctantly accepts Hyun Woo’s offer after consideration. Hyun Woo and Soo In work together and reminisce things happened in the past. Jung Min and Jin Ah investigate how Hyun Woo changed people’s opinions. Jung Min is surprised at the result showing that Hyun Woo’s overseas law suit is for large amount of compensation money.
Hyun Woo’s father and Yoon Mi locate Hyun Woo’s office. Yoon Mi immediately leaves the office after she nervously says hello to Hyun Woo and Soo In. Outside of the office, Soo In tells Yoon Mi that she and Hyun Woo were lovers. Inside the office, Hyun Woo and his father have nice conversations.
With complicated mind, Soo In takes Jason’s suggestion to travel abroad. As soon as Hyun Woo learns that Soo In is leaving for the airport, he rushes to the airport. At the airport, Hyun Woo and Soo In embrace each other. When Hyun Woo turns around, Soo In weakly faints …

Jung min finds out that Soo-In has a terminal disease. Hyounwoo does not know the results of Soo-In's test so he goes running around looking for important materials to help out his case. However, Jungmin has already found the important witness and turned him around. Jungmin threatens Jason that he found out all of the dark secrets of his company and that he hire the most expert doctors to cure Soo-In. If he will do so, then he will make sure that he wins the law suit for Jason. Jung min returns the ring that Jina gave him.

Soo In knew from Jung Min that Hyun Woo was accused of bribing a witness of the case and his lawyer qualification was deprived. She went to find the witness but couldn’t see him. She left with disappointment.
Soo In told Hyun Woo’s father that she would separate with Hyun Woo. She asked him to help Hyun Woo with his difficult situation.
Soo In and the witness’s daughter stayed in the same hospital ward and had chemotherapy together. The witness told Soo In that he was bribed by Jung Min for he needed money badly…

Hyun Woo was wrongly accused of…Soo In begged Jung Min to help Hyun Woo. Jung Min asked Soo In to leave Hyun Woo. Soo In was angry and slapped his face hard.
Hyun Woo was taken by the police. He begged the police to have a day’s time and then he would go back with them.
Hyun Woo hurriedly took Soo In to a wedding dress salon. He let her wear a wedding dress. Hyun Woo looked at the beautiful Soo In with great admiration.
On the wedding day, Hyun Woo’s father appeared and Hyun Woo was very pleased. Hyun Woo apologized to his father and they hugged each other.
As the bride walked into the hall, the little girl (witness’s daughter) identified the murderer of her father. She screamed and pointed him out. The murderer was arrested by the policemen who accompanied Hyun Woo to the wedding venue. At the same time, Jason tried to run away. Hyun Woo and Jung Min caught Jason at the airport.
After the longest wedding ceremony, Hyun Woo and Soo In finally had some sweet moments together…however…

Hyun Woo was very worried as Soo Yin looked very sick. Jason called, asking him to give up the lawsuit.
Hyun Woo was glad to know from Soo Yin that there was a suitable match for bone marrow transplant. He sent a message to the potential donor, asking her to help Soo Yin. Hyun Woo and colleagues had many meetings to prepare for the lawsuit. Everyone proposed that Soo Yin be a witness for the lawsuit. Soo Yin accidentally heard their discussion and knew that Jason had connection with the voluntary medical organization. She was very shocked. She also understood that Jason used the organization as a shield undergoing illegal activities. Soo Yin, though very sick, helped Hyun Woo and others to gather evidence and asked to be the witness at court.

Jason caught Anna, the marrow transplant donor, to force Hyun Woo to give up the case. Hyun Woo gave up the lawsuit to save Soo Yin. As Soo Yin prepared to receive the bone marrow transplant in the hospital, she saw Jason and Anna together. She left the hospital for Yin Yue.
Soo Yin was sad that Hyun Woo gave up the lawsuit for her. She asked him not to give up. Hyun Woo was convinced and went on with the lawsuit. Jung Min was sad that Yin Yue gave up saving Soo Yin. But Soo Yin talked to Jung Min and he cried in her arms.
Finally, Hyun Woo, Soo Yin and Jung Min appeared in court. Jung Min became the witness instead of Soo Yin. Everybody was shocked.
Hyun Woo explained to Jung Min that not only his qualification as a lawyer would be lost being the witness, he might be subjected to legal responsibilities too. Because of Jung Min's accusation, Jason was arrested.
Soo Yin got well because of Anna’s help……

What can I say.... "Love Story in Harvard' is one of the best Korean TV Dramas after "All about Eve".. of because not forgetting it must have break records having the most kiss scenes in Korean TV Dramas... hehe... ^-^
Having watched the serial several times, I was very captivated by the screen chemistry of Kim RaeWon and Kim TaeHee. They were so natural and loving towards each other. I guessed they must feel very comfortable with each other to be able to act like this. Otherwise, they must really be very professional actors.
The storyline is interesting, with the first half of the serial focussing on studying in Harvard and how KRW & KTH love story progresses. The latter part was similarly good as all of them have graduated to lawyers and doctor and how they handle working and love life.
Was so happy that this drama did not have the usual soppy ending where the actress died of some incurable diseases. At least KTH recovered to give birth to triplets.... yahooo.... that was the best way to end this wonderful drama.

The original korean version has a total of 16 episodes but the one shown here at the local tv strecthes to more than 16 episodes, around 20+, if i'm not wrong.
I agree that their English is poor, but I believe there is one actress that can speak that is the second leading actress. The leading actress is so pretty.
im only half way thru the series... english sucked.. it would have been absolutely perfect if they had perfect english too... so they got married? wow! i cant wait to finish this. im also interested because of the parts about the law study being a law student myself. i can relate to the hardships of studying it..

erm.. jung min wanted to teach kth a language i forgot wat language though. but kth is not paying attention.. she thking of krw.. so jung min just throw the basket ball to kth... head.. GOSH I THK IT'S MUST BE REALLY PAINFUL..

and did you notice how KRW was throwing KTH around like in the football scene & the beach scene? i was thinking, ouch, that must hurt! especially since KTH has such a small frame
I think that Lee Jung Jin did an outstanding job portray his role…matter of fact, he’s a lot better looking and more attractive than KRW…and act a lot better than KRW….sorry to all KRW fans if I defended you….! I just feel bad that on all the websites talked about this series….all they mentioned are all about KRW and KTH……but no one mention or give any credit to Lee Jung Jin……the only reason I finish watching the whole series just because of Lee Jung Jin….matter of fact, this is my first time seen his work…I wish there will be more of his works coming out soon.
The story would be more interesting if the writer show a little more of the bonding or fun times for KTH and Lee Jung Jin together… but the writer fails to do that……..the love that LJJ has for KTH are just as much or even more than KRW has for KTH…the only thing is he is just one step behind KRW……he willing to do or give up anything just for the sake of KTH life…even his soul…..wow what a real man…….but too bad that KTH doesn’t realize that….and he not even has one good meal together with KTH…well, I take it back…actually they did have one nice and romantic meal together while they were still back in the US….the 2nd meal he is so excited and looking forward to it because KTH called and invited him to the dinner….but then Kim Min shown up & ruined big time.
Oh he express so well for his role….especially the part that KTH cry outside of KRW office…he took her out for a drink, play football on the street w/ her and give her a piggyback ride on his back…and all KTH talked about is KRW, how nice and how good kisser he is etc….everything she talked is about KRW…..I can really feel his pain by the way he acted……..and the ending part…when KTH shown up at his office……he cried like a baby…….and he actually get to lead his head on her…while she is rubbing his shoulder.

kim tae hee is gonna be hot on our screen verysoon , i hope she will be given more chance to act , she's so pretty , it will be a waste of her time if she doesnt have a chance for her career. good luck kim tae hee, i support u 100 percent

yeah.. he's quite under rated with this series. he did a great job portraying his character and he's a great supporting actor. he's a very effective 'other guy'. hehe!
and about how KTH's character ignored LJJ's character in the series. its basically what 'the other guy' do... to be there for the main girl in times of need and sorrow although the girl still longs for the lead actor.. Endless Love, Full House, Meteor Garden, Attic Cat.. its all the same! its just how its is.... sad but true!
overall, i dont think that LJJ is 'the main key' for this series. i still think its KRW. im not saying this just because im his fan.. but because he really is.

I just ordered the DVD of this because of all the rants and raves about how good the series is, so far I have not heard 1 bad thing about it...so Im hoping I get my moneys with since the last Kdrama I watched was STH, and that was just like the ultimate drama.

Anyway i love the story and also the actress and actor matching. i like the first half of the drama it acted in state. I'm interested in the story and spent 2 days to finished the film. I'm glad that it's fantastic and happy ending.

it a happy ending...suyin make in-vitro to get the baby...then before kim rea won go to over sea she talk to him at airport come back faster because she have a good news... after a year they show their fimaly potrait with twin if i not mistake
omg is this another sad drama?? The guy (not the one w. the fat face) looks ok...i still think SongJoo (From Stairway to heaven) looks better though...hmmm...Is it me or does the girl in this drama look like the evil sister in stairway to heaven??
