I watched Episode 1 of this series. It's kinda confusing and borring actually if people says this is the second best after all about eve then I'll continue to watch it then

the drama gets better later on. I wasn't too interested in the first few episodes either. I don't think it's the second best after all about eve, but it's a good drama.

I watched the second episode today. And you're right...I started to like the story now. Even I think the plot of one story to the next sort of too fast.

even if they say that the storry line and the plot and artists are not that remarkable,what makes this series so beautiful and unforgettable is that kim rae won,kim tae hee and their supporting colleages here justified their roles in general. they did all a great job! aside from the fact that krw and kth was a magical couple to convince their viewers that the whole story is like for real...seems everyone watches it wants to be inlove and inspires us with the message they want to unfold.

This is a really good drama. its been over 4 awhile but u can probably download it somewhere. this is a romantic drama with a happy endng of course.

I watched episode 3 last night and it surprises me Prof. Keynes - the old & serious proffesor could give hi 5 to his student - student who he hates at first haha...
Then after I refreshed my memory back, this proffessor looks like my business "law" professor @ college. Old, skinny and looks so rude but actually he is nice

lol, i love this drama , i have been watching it over and over. The chemistry that they produce felt like real . I thought they are real life couple, but according to press, they are not. SAD!!!

I bought this dvd not knowing much about it. I have four episodes left and am really impressed. I think the story was well written and the Korean actors did a wonderful performance. I mean how many times can these people cry? When they're happy, in love, confused, and heartbroken their tears spill at the perfect moment.

I'm from and live in the US. I have to say the "American" actors really stunk. I don't know where they found these people, but they're either OA (over-acting) or just crappy. But who really cares? I'm so hooked.

As far as the Korean actors, the two main rivals' english isn't very good, but C'MON! They're Korean! The ladies have pretty good, especially the really b*t*hy one. Is it me or is her face crooked? Aside from that, I believed she was a b*t*h.

Most importantly, this show is refreshing. It had some pretty cool scenes (like the Bus Window where he writes on the window and she's reading from the inside) that are original. And I'm so glad the female character takes the initiative and is not so prudish. Good for her!!!! That's more realistic than the other Asian dramas I've seen (although not many).

It's so romantic...I can't stand it!!!! I have to finish this now!

I feel that this drama is really good. They played this series on national tv in my country some time back and I got hooked to it after one of my friends recommended it to me. I was so impressed by the drama that I bought the whole series and the OST too! It costs me a bundle but I feel that it was worth it. I love the chemistry between KTH & KRW. They both acted very well, very professional, considering they are not real life couple . Both KRW’s and LJJ’s (especially LJJ’s) English are terrible. I had a hard time understanding what they are trying to say. Thank goodness for the subtitles! After watching the series a few times, I noticed a flaw: When John (I think that’s his name) asks KHW whether he (KHW) would like to join their study group he (John) said that they are going to look through past year questions from the “ten last decade” instead of “last ten decade” . Haha. Anyway, it’s just a minor blooper. Just thought of sharing it with you guys. Overall, I would give it a rating of 4.5 out of 5

There's a mix of romance and comedy at the beginning till somewhere nearing the middle part.
But towards the end, the show tends to be a bit more serious (when they are back in Korea).

Well actually towards the end the movie can make you cry

i loved the show more n more as it progresses, but every1 will haf differing opinions abt the show. some pple say the parts when they were studyin were best, n they stopped at the eppy when they were back at korea, but 4 me, i say watch the whole show till the end, i didn't regret watching the whole show n i really love it, it makes me feel good.

I think it's pretty realistic when it comes to the mechanics of a relationship. There is some very cute dialogue when they are just talking and picking on each other. As far as originality, it's rare to see that kind of story telling (since I'm in America), so it was very refreshing. For example, I mentioned the bus scene earlier. Another cool part is when Alex Hong realizes his football is smaller. That scene alone defines his character and the actual love triangle. Also, tying American cases with Hyuan Woo's difficulties was very clever dailogue.

Who wrote this series? I read the English subtitles (I'm not Korean) and even they were excellent. I watched this other show with really crappy translations after so many people raved about it, and honestly, I know it could've been better - way better. So good subtitles make such a difference.

I think the lead actress deserves an Oscar for her performance. The show is really about her, because her character ties all of the stories together. Her presence in the scene really determines how the other characters react. I hope this elevates her career. She did an outstanding performance.

I also watched the behind the scenes disc which weren't subtitled, and have more respect for the actress who plays Jina. She was behind the camera for a lot of it and helped with a lot of the English speaking parts. She seemed very professional, and then turned around and act like such a "you know what" on screen.

very well said, first timer. just finished watching this series. at first i said im gonna watch it one epi at a time. but after the 3rd ep, i can't stop!! man, i just had to finish it in one day! so i did. yep, their english was kinda bad, specially for alex hong who was supposed to be living in the US since he was 11. but i really loved this series. touching and a tearjerker!

i agree wif u tht this show is realistic, for me, it wasn't as draggy as some other korean shows i've watched, n i've watched quite a lot.

i like the fact tht soo in also made it clear earlier on to alex tht if she has time to be in a relationship, it will not be him. she said tht at the staircase of the house they all lived in. some other shows, the females don't make it clear enough. i also like the honesty b/w hyun woo & soo in after they got married. when her condition was getting worse he did tell her. n when he may be charged wif the murder of a witness, which he din do, he told soo in tht they shd get married n go thru their problems together.

i also enjoyed the parts when alex & hyun woo played bball together, esp when they were back in korea after hyunwoo won the case against jason. hyunwoo also told alex to stop loving his wife n find a gf for himself hehe.

I know of a site where u can get some of the behind the scenes, but it's not complete n jumbled up. hurtwou frm soompi forums got it frm his dvd but he din put up all the vids, so if u wan to see parts of alex hong n kim min etc, there ain't much of them on the site. i got the dvd but i duno how to extract them..

Eh, I'm at episode 8 now and I'm contemplating whether or not to continue watching it. It's getting kind of draggy. Episodes 1-4 were really thrilling though. I really, really, really, really don't like Kim Raewon's character. He's SO annoying. XD

I also didn't like KRW's character in the first few parts, but towards the end I was won over by his love for KTH's character & his determination. He was in trouble himself yet he knws how to make KTH feel secure & safe being wif him, it's like they fight together towards the end. he fights for her by takin up the case, n she fights for her health. the after sch parts when they get together are sweeter than the in sch parts imo. but i also like LJJ's character. Alex Hong sacrificed his lawyer's license to help her fight for the case with KRW in court.

The good thing is that there is translation so they speak cantonese which is good so i dont have to look at the sub title but i wish they would translate the english at the start as well!

kim rae won has an excuse why his english is crap because he was born in korea but Lee Chong Jin has no excuse because his character is born in America.His english really annoyed me.

the only person who i understood was the second actress( forgot name)when she spoke english.

I thought it was one of the best korean series. cause kim tae hee is so hot and the setting is fresh and new. But they always end up having blood cancer n shyt. But good that da ending was a good one
