Hi there. Happy to hear you like it! Everyone says that they never dated, but I think most of us agree that they seem VERY comfortable with eachother and the chemistry is undeniable. Personally, I think they did, but I always think like that. They truly acted like a married couple.

what a complete disappointment. there was so much hype over this drama that i held so much expectation. however the more i watched the more i simply wanted to give up and forget i ever heard of it.
the story was VERY typical and unimaginative. within the first 5 eps i could already gues the entire plot.
the characters were passive and lacking, there was no real depth to anyone. the lovers lacked the intense chemistry that has made korean dramas so popular.
overall a major disappointment.

no chemistry? hmmm...watch a number of k-series already but the chemistry bet. couples ranged bet. cute to funny or to "too melodramatic to be true"...that the actors had to act their best and cry hard to prove that their PLATONIC attraction or fondness for him/her is tantamount to ONE GREAT LOVE already even if there is not much foundation for a ROMANTIC love...

I find LSIH's story simple too...i think its CHARACTER-DRIVEN...i dunno what is ur expectation in this series but i think beside Jewel in the Palace any other korean series cannot claim originality...Almost all if not all of them have simple plot and are predictable...

and IMHO, It may not have the SAME APPEAL IF its too complicated and obscure. plus THEY WERE JUST ALL VERY GOOD IN executing (esp. the actors/actresses) the whole drama thats why it became effective. Wonder why we prefer to associate ourselves w/ our fave actors in our siggy than the series where we fall in love with them...

THe question only is that do you connect with the story or characters? but thats a question of preference or interest. Like for example looking at ur lists i only find KSW and JJH quite appealing...the others are BLAH!

i still find KRW_KTH tandem the best among all...their chemistry is just too much for me...

Love story in harvard was another great korean series, it was so sad though, but it was a good kind of sad!! they look really cute together, are they a real couple? anyways I would definitely recommend this series to everyone and anyone, it's a romantic comedy that will definitely leave you wanting more!!

Definitely agree with you. It really depends on how you connect with the story and characters. the same actor in another drama might not be as appealing to me, in a different drama....

Just like, I love KRW here in LSIH, but not as much in "which star are you from" and definitely don't like him in "say i love you to me", same actor different characters, totally different feel. all 3 characters love the girl of their life so much. KRW definitely make all 3 girls so worth loving, but the chemistry is just different too. lots of people said, the chemistry KRW and Jung Ryeo Won is so good in "which start are you from". but personally, i don't think the chemistry between KRW-JRW was as good as KRW-KTH , i still like KRW and KTH the best.

alo RBR! yeah even if we love a specific actor/actress it will always be a question if we can love or connect w/ all the characters they played. among all KOrean series id watched its only in this series where i really CONNECT with the characters. plus the CHEMISTRY of KTH-KRW can be described in many forms of "romantic adjectives". hot, cute, blissful, naughty and sweet, pure, exciting, candid, strong, comfortable, real, etc...

I went to continue watching some eps of WSAYF today since my net connection was down & i had time to spare hehe.... many pple say KRW-JRW chemistry are the best.... but anyway, after I watched some eps of WSAYF, I went back to watch ep 2 of my LSIH , i agree with u, the chemistry is different. Just gives me diff feeling but of cus this is subjective cus some others don't see any chemistry b/w KTH & KRW at all, my youngest bro joined me in watching WSAYF today.... he told me this as we were watching: "in this drama, KRW's smiles are per normal unlike in LSIH where his smiles were extra bright/excited/glowing" , guess tht's how my bro felt then

Maybe I'm biased cus I still feel KTH-KRW chemistry is really tops, really too comfy together yet I don't think there were gossip abt whether they were dating or shd date? issit cus KTH was attached when they did LSIH? haha, at 1st impression KRW is hotter in WSAYF, but i guess overall, the mature Hyunwoo back in Korea still wins my heart more hehe. I've always wished to see Behind The Scenes for almost all the scenes b/w KTH & KRW especially but a pity we only got a few. Anyway this is pretty random but I love it when Hyunwoo is gonna give Soo In a kiss and she has her eyes closed already waiting for the kiss but he has his eyes open as he leans nearer & i love the way he's looking at her as he's gonna kiss her.... case in point: ep 15 after they got back frm the hospital & 1st time in their bedroom after they married. also another time was at the hospital when they had their beds joined & he was gonna kiss her before they got interrupted ooohhh how i wish they are for real.... never been so into a couple like how i'm so into this 2....

oh my, now i'm hoping KTH & Jung Woosung have great chemistry as well in their movie later on.... frm their interviews a few mths ago, they seem to have it, cus i think even the interviewer said they look like husband & wife n if KTH is gonna do a new drama, i hope the chemistry would be just as good or even better than in LSIH, but of cus even then LSIH will be unforgettable for me hehe.

Watch LSIH few night ago, was at the esp that KRW and KTH get married.
they part when they are trying on the wedding grown..that was so romanic...and my tear
just came running down, when just before the wedding he give his father-in-law a hug..
i thought that was so touch. how many of us can have such good relationship with in-laws.

Yeah. I love Soo-In's daddy. That scene where he thanks Hyun-woo's dad for accepting his sick daughter, never ceases to make me cry like a big baby.

He let his daughter be so independent.

When he talks to Soo-In after the rude run-in with Hyun-woo's dad in the hospital (after his birthday), he later tells her to "cut him (Hyun-woo) some slack". In fact, I don't think there was a time when he didn't support or speak ill of Hyun-woo. He told Soo-In that he has "innocent eyes" and wouldn't break her heart - or somehing like that. He also said that if she dies, he'd die with her.

Through the whole show he sees Soo-In's true feelings about Hyun-woo. Before she was to leave for Africa, she asked him what he thought about her staying in Korea, marrying Hyun-woo, and having a family. He told her he's "always on her side". What a cool dad.

just finished watching this today and it's really worth it... they both look so cute together and I also hope they get to team up again in the future... they acted as if they're real husband and wife and the way Hyun Woo cares for Soo In, waaahhh! can't get enough of them ... they're so sweet!

at first i hated alex hong's role but learned to love it as I saw him sacrificing his life for the woman he also loves same with Hyun Woo ... but the love between Hyun Woo and Soo In is inseparable!

actually for me, i fell for Alex first haha, then later on then I understood why Soo In fell in love with Hyunwoo.... at first when I watched I kept wanting her to give Alex a chance but she knew who's the only guy she wanted to be with and yes their love was unbreakable.... they gave noone chances haha.

Alex Hong's character turned out to be so noble as he gave up all his dreams of being a lawyer because of Soo In and I somehow think that he also values the friendship he gained with Hyun Woo because he didn't pursue his hatred towards Hyun Woo's father anymore... and Alex was a great actor as well, I was so moved with his acting, his crying scenes and the emotions coming from him, you'll really feel how painful seeing everything for him...

same with Hyun woo, choosing between the case and Soo In's life, add her wish for Hyun Woo to continue the case, it was really hard for him and it's also very obvious that he truly loves Soo In, how lucky it is for Soo In to have such men in her life hehehe

well, two thumbs up for Love Story in Harvard, makes us fall in love over and over again, and even inspires people in love more, continue to hold on to that feeling as it will give them true happiness ...

I agree with you tht Alex was acted by a great actor but the underrated Lee Jungjin, can't wait for him to be back frm the army so tht we all can see him again. I believe he & KRW have become good frens since LSIH.

I like how Soo In can influence the lifes of the 2 men who loved her so much. If not for Soo In, Alex wouldn't have done what he did in the end and probably continued living thinking that having power is everything. If not for Soo In's words, Hyunwoo probably would have succumbed to temptation of giving up his principles in life of finding justice for the unfortunate pple just to save the life of his wife.... if he had gone ahead with that deal with Jason and Soo In hadn't stopped him, Jason would have won and Hyunwoo and Soo In would live with a conscience all their lives. I'm glad that after that last slap frm Hyunwoo, she didn't quarrel or fight with him but instead, she reasoned it out with him. She said something like, "There is such a thing as death in a living person, and there is also such a thing as life in a dead person." Even if she were to live to the expense of those villagers, they wouldn't be happy together anymore....

And gotta agree tht Jungmin treasures his relationship with Hyunwoo, tht's why I love those scenes b/w them, basketball & all. All in all, LSIH is truly a great love story which teaches us not to be selfish, inspires us and more. I'm glad I have a new fan of LSIH to discuss this drama with over again!

KRW : I'm very glad to work together with Kim Tae Hee, because she's so pretty and good in acting. But Beauty outside is not too important and i think beautiful inside is way more important compared to just the outside look, but she has got both of it. She is hardworking and loyal. In the less than 3 months we've spent together in the US, we both had many unique and interesting experiences, and because of that, we both got to know more about each other and became good friends. And one thing that I always want to thank from this beautiful project is that now I've become a personality who always never forgets to go to church. Kim Tae Hee always goes to church even in her busy time and she always spends her time for it, and she asked me to do something that I had never done for the last one year because I've been very busy, and now I'll always thank her for that.

Kim Tae Hee: Now we're here for LSIH so my answer is definitely Kim Rae Won, and I've became his fan since I watched him in "Attic Cat" and I was so excited since I got to know I will work with him.

He's a multitalented person and no doubt that he looks so handsome, and he has a good personality. But when i met him, my first impression was a little bit differrent, because the first time, I thought he's just an easy going and relaxed person but then I was so wrong. He's a very serious person and hardworking and has a good sense of humor and very professional.

(But when the Press asked about her typical idea of a boyfriend, with full of smile she just says she likes a man who can give her a safe feeling if she's around him and can look after her and accept her the way she is, then she adds that she likes a man who can always make her laugh and feel happy)

(But she didn't want to answer when asked about her ex boyfriend. She just said clearly and politely, "Now we're here to talk about LSIH and I'm sorry but I can't answer about private questions")

Edit: Oh btw gotta add, in June 2005, 1 mth + before this LSIH promo in Taiwan, KTH just broke up with her bf of 5 yrs.... Tht's why the press was asking her abt her ex.

LSIH is not just a simple story about a couple who fought for their live through thick and thin, we also learned a lot of lessons here, in life we are the one choosing our paths so we better not put the blame on others right? just like the advise of Soo In to JungMin ... it was so manly of Jung Min to follow such decision as he believes it's the right thing to do... at first since LSIH was shown last 2004 I thought nobody will respond to my post here so glad that you are so willing to share thought about LSIH here with me, I just love reminiscing the series and still want to watch it all over again...

the friendship between HyunWoo and JungMin is so touching, after all their friendship still matters to them and they valued each other, the 3 of them became good friends even in real life right?

teenah, yups you're right, LSIH fans of the couple surely wouldn't mind seeing KTH & KRW together in real life, it'll be a dream come true for us all surely. We have been waiting to see more progress and hoping that they'll get to meet each other again since their last work together in August 2005.

LSIH is definitely not just a love story, but not everybody who watched it can see it for something further than that.... but for those who did, we grew to appreciate the drama for the lessons we did learn frm it and kinda have deep feelings for it tht will take us a long time to get over it.... and the chemistry b/w the cast is all really a great bonus as well.... I watched the drama with no expectations but in the end, it was the one which gave me the most memories.

I'm not sure whether KRW and LJJ and KTH became good friends in real life haha.... but for sure I believe KRW & LJJ did for they were sitting beside each other at a screen quota protest in Seoul a few mths ago. As for KTH, she was busy filming in China hehe. But I believe they all had a good relationship while filming the drama. On my LSIH DVD, the Bonus disc with The Making, there was a clip of KTH & LJJ sitting by the stairs with some other crew guys.... well she was saying something.... then one of the guys teased her, then she was laughing so cute-ly hahahaha, maybe blushing also, but well LJJ joined in also, it was kinda fun watching tht.... but a pity there's no Eng subs for tht scene Anyway, also during filming, there's once when KTH & KRW were sitting opposite each other in the dining area of the house, LJJ was standing by the door, anyway, KTH wanted to peel an orange, then KRW saw tht and told her, "Don't bother to peel" and he passed her the orange tht he has peeled .... there was also another time when someone at soompi who got to be part of the LSIH crew in LA, mentioned tht KTH & KRW were sitting together for their meal, they chose to eat western food, and there were mussels, KTH had a hard time with it, and KRW was telling her tht it usually takes 2 pple to get the mussel out or something but he said he could do it on his own, so Ok, she let him do it for her..... but he failed to do it alone and she said this to him, "See?" and I think they did it together after tht .... Kim Min and LJJ had a great relationship too frm what I've seen frm the clips.... but Kim Min recently got married already.

Oh btw I kinda made those 2 gifs myself frm a short clip.... tht interview wasn't really an interview, it was kinda only a few seconds of them talking (but I dunno wat they were talking ) but here's the clip where I made the gif frm.... well it's at the back part of this clip but I'm sure you'll enjoy watching the whole clip cus inside the clip, there's also the Making of the Bathroom Kissing scene.... KRW was kinda cute when he got the crew to shut the door so tht it'll only be him, KTH and the camera in the bathroom for the scene and I also enjoyed seeing how at the end the crew is laughing at them both after the scene but maybe you've seen tht already....

Another thing I like in this clip is when KTH had to cough into the basin alot of times and behind, while she was doing the scene, KRW was looking with such sad eyes with love (in my opinion )

don't think anyone has uploaded it so far, but I was just rewatching the KTH SBS 1 hr special and it's inside the special, I've clipped tht part for you.... in this clip, one part I enjoyed watching was KRW singing happily when he was lying on the bed with his script he looks like he's in a happy mood and can't wait to do tht scene anyway, the director also seem to enjoy teasing & watching the couple together haha.

I also like this part I clipped frm the KTH 1 hr special, the Behind The Scenes of that scene when they went out on a date together the day before she had to go to leave him for the 2nd time.... they took photos at the photobooth. While they filmed this scene, the "Angel I Love You" bus scene (KTH's favorite) was airing on TV in Korea then, and tht shop switched on the TV to LSIH then.

I have quite a no. of videos of them both together, but need to sort them out haha, will share more with you once I kinda look thru my folder But well, when they went to Taiwan, think they took the same flight, cause there was a photo of them walking out together and talking. But somehow at the fanmeeting, seems like they were distant.... like something had happened b/w them, hmmm, when they were cutting a cake together, seems like KTH's hand didn't wanna touch his when holding the knife.... she placed her hand on the knife below his, avoiding touches.... n once the cake was cut, she took away her hand kinda fast.... but maybe I'm too sensitive already haha cus in clips of other promo events in Taiwan, it didn't look like tht situation haha... somehow what I felt when I saw tht clip which was a very long time back... gotta search back for it, hope I can find.... though there's a high chance I have deleted them when my pc was running out of space.... tht time I wasn't a strong KTH-KRW fan yet, I was more a KTH-LJJ fan haha. oops.

someone on Soompi who flew to Taiwan to see them said tht she can feel tht KRW kinda like KTH but KTH not returning the feel.... but I guess it had to do with the reporters asking him abt wooing her since she's already single and her reply of needing time to get over a broken relationship. At tht time, she must still be missing her ex very much & with the reporters' probing abt her ex, it made her miss those times more maybe

this one did mention abt KTH being in a relationship when they were filming LSIH together, cause the press asked her abt it & all & she told them tht they had broken up peacefully.. n erm KRW was just looking away at the translator when it came to her "bf" topic. btw where are u frm? do you understand Chinese? cus this clip is in Chinese.... but I myself am not very good in it, i only can understand a bit. and somewhere around the 1 mins mark, it showed KRW kinda asked the crowd whether they think he & KTH are compatible/look good together.... and they all answered yes and then he kinda bowed and said Thank You in Mandarin to the crowd KTH was just smiling/laughing by his side.... but both looked very radiant indeed. and then the clip also showed the press asking abt KTH & Won Bin together in a drama possibly after they had worked together as the LG Cyon couple and erm, KRW looked serious/not interested then hehe, at 1st he looked kinda sulky like Hyunwoo when HW saw Jungmin with Soo In hehe, but then later he smiled at his fans. haha, I may have exagerrated slightly hahahaha. but really can see the contrasting looks on his face during various topics.

btw, I'm from the Phil, LSIH will start airing on Aug14 (tagalog dubbed though...) everytime I see the teaser they've provided, it makes me want to watch my copy all over again and it's still worth it! I don't really understand chinese, just the basic like saying hello and thank you, byebye, just basics... same with the korean language, basics but a little more than that, still can't converse in korean hehe...

Erm I can't really remember which episode but I think it's in episode 4 when Lee Jung Jin sleeps with Kim Min.

He just lost the mock trial against Kim Raewon and he's a man who can't accept defeats. Before that, Kim Min had kinda hinted to him to come over to her place but he told her he was not in the mood then. But anyway, he was at the pub feeling very down and she came to him. I guess he needed comfort that he asked her whether he can go to her place cause he's in the right mood then. Anyway, that night also, after he slept with her, he kinda confided in her and talked abt his father who was driven to suicide cause of KRW's father and tht's why he's bent on winning him for anything cause he puts all the blame on his broken family on KRW's family.

Anyway, the next morning when LJJ said sorry to Kim Min for what they did the night before, Kim Min told him clearly that, on the night, she needed a man and LJJ kinda satisfied her needs and that's all.

Haha teenah, the bed scene full hasn't got much diff except that the longer one they showed him kiss her frm forehead down to lips before they showed their hands together hehe. Besides, this there are also some other scenes which can't be found in the 16 ep version which is also the same version aired in Korea, for eg, KRW telling the other girl that he only treats her as a sister and that he loves KTH. It also shows KTH visiting the guy she saved at his ward and I believe this conversation she had with him made him & his family change their mind abt filing charges against Harvard Medical school. But in any case, there isn't any complete version out there haha cause some scenes in 16 ep version aren't found in 18 ep version, I kinda bought both official 16 ep version and the other version cause the 18 ep version is the one sold in my country (Singapore) and also this version aired on Cable here last year. I hope the one aired in Philippines will be the same one most other countries in Asia, including Thailand, excluding Korea, are airing.... not the 16 ep version, cause the other version flows much better! I read tht Thailand has just released their own DVDs/VCDs for LSIH and the DVD is the 18 ep version like the Taiwan, HK, Japanese, Malaysian version DVD/VCD.

I am so excited tht after LSIH ended it's run in Thailand just last week, it's now coming to Philippines!!
but I am kinda envious of all of you cause Singapore hasn't aired it on Free tv yet, only Cable... n we may never get it on free tv.... But I am gonna be just as excited as you all and counting down to LSIH premiere in Phil hehe, LSIH was kinda popular in Thailand, hope it will create a wave in Phil too cause it's worth it.

i read some reviews to this series...i heard its not really good and the english is really bad ... i don't know, actually i might give this series a try. there are so many k-drama series i still haven't seen yet. there's loads i want to see

Actually it depends on the individual watching it.
I say give it a try or try and catch some clips of the drama on youtube, and if you like it, it's great.
If not, well it's cool too cause not everyone will have the same taste

But well, I don't really mind their English though I speak English myself.

If you are, erm oops maybe you can clarify with us more things when you watch those clips which has Chinese translation etc for eg the TVBS clip and the 40 mins clip of their press conference in Taiwan. I know when KRW went to Taiwan to promote LSIH, he just injured his leg while filming his movie, Mr Socrates and he told the press that it hurts a lot. Anyway, I'm just wondering what was being said around the 20 mins 30 secs mark, cause KTH was smiling/laughing when she heard the question, and KRW was really radiant when he answered the question, he was like blushing! Haha but of course if there's more you wanna explain abt the interesting things they said in the press conference, it's more than welcomed! Just at your own free time....

Well, actually all the Taiwan promo they did together was on 4 August 2005 I believe~

They brought so much clothes! When they arrived at airport, this was what they wore:

Then the cake cutting thingy was at their fansmeeting on the same night, their clothes:


And lastly at the TV channel promo event (with roses):


And the next day, I believe KTH had other promo w/o KRW and she was in other clothes + KRW also had a mag interview wearing other clothes. When KTH left Taiwan, she was also seen in another set of clothes hehe. They seriously changed clothes a lot!

This is a bonus for all you KTH-KRW lovers, a few weeks after their trip to Taiwan, they did the Andre Kim Fashion show together at KTH's school (SNU) in late August 2005:
