the only reason i watch the tagalog version is that i want to know how it feels like hearing their dialogue in tagalog. i mean there is more drama with the dubbing rather than the subtitle!

You're right, I don't understand Tagalog but I have always wished I knw Korean so I won't need the subs, I think if I can understand the language, it'll have a greater impact for sure.... Subs may not be complete. But still I'd choose original voice over dub if there's a choice always.

syah ... yup my mother really likes Alex Hong since their Harvard days, aside from his good looks, my Mom fell for his character in LSIH ... he became so noble for he gave up his career as a lawyer all because of Soo In, and he even regained a very good friendship with Hyun woo ... so my mom almost cried when Hyun Woo and Alex was having a sort of serious and funny talk when Soo In was under operation, the scene where they also played basketball .... but I must say this, my mom was really in tears during the trial of their case when he stood up and took the witness stand ...

even though I've finished watching LSIH ... I still watch the one in gma, can't help but watch it, I always look forward to it... as it really drives me so crazy, hahaha

I must say, the more i watched LSIH, the more i appreicated Alex Hong's character, and his love for SooIn.
Knowing that SooIn will never give her heart to him...he still go all out to help her..even to the expend of giving up his career as a lawyer.
I think the best part in the end is you see a happy Alex Hong. not thinking or revenage but truly enjoy his friendship with SooIn and HyunWoo.

hmmmm I've tried watching this series 3 times already but could never get myself to finish it even though I really love KRW. . . I think I'll give it another try. . . even though the english is really bad. . .

Wow ur mom's cool! I think Jungmin definitely felt more relaxed in the end, he has let everything inside of him go. Though he doesn't get Soo In's love, he knw he has gained more than tht, their everlasting friendship and can see he truly appreciates it. I love tht talk he had with HW at the basketball court. HW told him not to think of his wife anymore And they talked abt his future, so funny how HW told him having Keynes at Harvard is already enough. I like tht trial scene too when he stood up and when he talked abt his love for one girl....

agree with you RBR, like the way they created Alex Hong's loving character... you wouldn't even hate him, being the other man involved, because from the very start he's very sure that he won't win Soo In's heart but he preferred to stay beside her as a very good friend ... he's willing to change and be of help to her, and to Hyun Woo as well ... deep inside him is a very good heart, that despite everything, instead of thinking about revenge, he purposely showed the real Alex Hong to his friends, the one who looks at life happily, enjoys a good friendship to both Soo In and Hyun woo...

what can I say, it keeps getting better everyday and makes everybody fall in love as the story goes on and on ...

What I like abt him is.... unlike some rejected male characters, he never did attempt to break the couple up though he was deeply in love with SI. Maybe he did try and hurt HW's reputation but what he had in mind when he did tht wasn't to break them up but because he wanted to win his case for his powerful client. Seeing how money/power seemed to be everything when HW's dad won the case for a big company against his father's small company back then, when he was studying to be a lawyer, he aimed to be a big shot lawyer who only represented those in power even though he knws they may be in the wrong. The old case had a huge impact on him as he lost a father's love & taught him tht only if you have power, then you can win. He had a love/hate relationship with HW, he enjoyed his company I believe but also he hated HW cause HW was born with a silver spoon + his father drove Alex's father to suicide + HW has the love of the woman he loves.... But when he was against HW for the case, he was doing his job as a lawyer and partly he also went on with the case later on in exchange for the live of the woman he loves..... Whatever happens, as long as SI lives, tht's his main concern, even if SI will never repay his love or reciprocate the love. This man never seems to receive much love but he wanted to give love to someone he really grew to like..... I'm guessing when his father died, his mother remarried a Westerner, they all immigrated to USA but she concentrated more on her new husband and didn't give Alex the love he needs as a growing up child....

Yups me too haha, if you saw the Bathroom Kiss BTS also, I think they didn't look awkward at all doing tht scene, it's like they just do it! I LOVE THE DUBBED VERSION TOO..I was really afraid at first thinking GMA might not pull it out and make the scene quite corny...BUT I WAS MISTAKEN! props to them...even the background song (HANGGANG NGAYON OR UNTIL NOW) is better

How are you my friends who are watching LSIH. We share the same feelings to this series and although I'm not active in giving my comments I just would like you to know that I love this series very much and I'm still watching it from Monday to Friday at GMA7 even if I have watched my DVD completely.

I agree with you. Although some of the scene taken in english language, its does'nt look like they only memorized it because they deliver it very well, in a good intonation with full emotions. Even Though they dont know how to speak English, but they tried their very best to make it simply perfect and natural as it was.
