She is a kind girl. she tries her best to do her job. She helps the old man to be health again. she acts like the real granddaughter at the house. Nobody know that she isn't the real one. I think she choose the right one for helping the old man. Some of people may think that she is a person who wants to get money from the old man,but I think she isn't. she just want to help the old man. Why do I say that because she doesn't eat well in the house. She never ask for the money from the old man.

I think she only lied to that old man because she felt sorry for them. the old man and Gong Chan, so she did it.
As you said Christine she didnt ask money from him. Maybe off Gong chan but so she can disguise her feelings. She did a good thing. SHe never did anything to them that she had to pay them back for anything really. She helped them a lot and they liked her a lot.

This is one of my favorite Korean dramas. Although unrealistically predictable, it indeed kept you at the edge of your seats. I nearly fainted with Gongchan and Yoo-rin kissed. Wow. The memories!

The ending was confusing to me and perhaps too abrupt...but it was good to see Gong-chan go after Yoo-rin like that. I like to see that. haha. Oh, as much as many may beg to differ, Seo Jung-woo really annoyed me. haha. Lee Da Hae did a great job portraying Joo Yoo-rin. She's a great actress, one of my favorite Korean actresses.

Only thing I want to know is: where the heck is Lee Dong Wook. haha...

I love this series! one of the best korean drama ever! I was so sad whenever Lee Jun Ki cries over Lee Da Hae. To see a player change his ways for the love of his life, now that is amazing. You know how girls are... girls wants to be the reason why the guy changes.

Never tired of watchg this drama esp. Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae! LDW has been out of action as in dramas for quite some time after MG. Really want to catch him in another one with LDH probably a sad one cos' I really want to see how LDW cries. The only time he resorts to cryg 'badly' is when he thought that his grandfather has passed out of this world without realising that he is only a sleeping babe after finally finding his lost grand daughter in the person of impersonating Yoo Rin. Then Yoo Rin gets a bit impressed by the sleeping or catching 40 winks style of Gong Chan in the sofa outside his grand dad's room. I guess by that moment Yoo Rin has already allowed a little bit of her love to slip through her fingers without knowing it. Her defence has softened towards him and it gets even softer as she has more contacts with the steep CEO Seol Gong Chan! Reprimanding him at times for being a stingy lot but it's just fun getting mad at him cos' love just makes it endurable and sweeter to a certain extent. Well.......Seol Gong Chan won her heart just as much as a lot of fans out there who are rooting for Jeong Woong Junki to be with Yoo Rin at the end of it all.

Really hope LDW has gotten the heart of LDH like the way MG protrays it, in real life! Keep our hopes burning for them!

Just to let you know that the carrot song sang by LDH as Yoo Rin brings a lot of warmth and cheers to Lee Dong Wook as Seol Gong Chan! I like the part when Yoo Rin tries to pull the shadow boxing scene, and the shadows show that both were 'interlocking'. Soooo funny indeed! I guess by then Yoo Rin has already allowed love to flow freely from her to Seol Gong Chan! Like LDW says in an interview of MG, SGC and YR stepped into each other's hearts without realising it............THE VERY ESSENCE OF MG - LOVE MAKES SUBTLE INROADS INTO OUR HEARTS! Before we realise it, we have already being caught unaware! No wonder Love is as strong as death!

gosh how i loved this drama - i am always rewatching certain scenes - like the one where he asks her to be his cousin and pulls her hair down. she looks so freaked out in that scene lol - putting her hands across her chest to form an X. hope the couple in this will act together again real soon.

That guy with the longer hair looks like a girl. He has such girly features and his hair doesn't help him out. The other guy definitely looks a lot better, good thing he's the lead because if the guy with the long hair is the lead, then I probably wouldn't watch it after the second episode.

I really enjoyed this drama. Although some parts were corny, everything turned out so well. Sometimes I wish that in dramas the person who loses the girl ends up finding another one and everyone's happy...too bad they don't turn out that way.

ahhhh!!! i love lee da hae!!! and i love her even more with lee junki. they are so cute together. i love them off screen. oh boy, i wish that LDH and LJ would just be able to collaborate together again but this time them being the main characters. goshers!! i love how they flirt in the BTS. i love my girl. very good serie.

am i the only one that fell for lee junki's character??? at first i didnt' like LJ because of his girly looks and him being a playboy and all but later on in the serie i actually grown on him. LJ's character was very cool and didn't play any dirty tricks like how some others would in other drama. then i started to realize how hot he was setting aside the cool character. ahhh!! i'm so in love with LJ after watching MG and especially aftering seeing him flirt with LDH in the BTS.

^ although i rooted for ju yoo lin and seol gong chan to be together, i have to agree that lee jun ki is very loveable. i thought his looks were weird at first, probably because his opening for the series was a bed scene... however, as the series goes on, i've realized that there are definately some manly features to him.

i still love his character because of the way he treats yoo lin.

I just finished this drama. i totally LOVE it. The story direction reminds me of Goong and Full House...a cute and innocent (but poor and in debt usually) female lead, good-looking rich but passive male lead, hot gf or close-to gf of main lead, good-looking best friend of main lead who is in love with the female lead and is secretly guarding her throughout the entire show. And also like the other romantic comedies, it starts out light and airy, and ends with lot's of tears. I'm not saying I didn't like this drama.

Au contraire, though the plot direction was similar to many other kdramas, I was totally captured by My Girl. For me, I think the cast totally made this series for me. Lee Dong Wook, Lee Junki and Lee Da Hae (hey, i just noticed they are all Lee's) gave such a captivating performance. With Goong and Full House, I think I slightly lost interest near the end when things began to get repetitive and every episode was just tears. With My Girl, when the storyline began to get a little heavy and the tears started to come, I thought I was going to get impatient (as per usual when the supposed comedy just turns into a giant tear fest) but honestly, I thought the 3 main leads gave such a splendid performance, I was actually able to endured and enjoy (for a lack of better word) the tear-jerker scenes. One of the most memorable scene for me was the airport scene with Lee Da Hae crying on the ground, and Lee Dong Wook crying and kneeling down in front of his grandpa. Their acting just made my heart ache in pain along with them. I look forward to every moment on screen with the three because their acting really touched me.

This was the second Korean drama i've seen. It was awesome too. Lee Dae Hae is a cute and funny actor ^_^. Lee dong wook is great too. Lee jun ki and Gong chan's girl friend did great jobs to make me hate them. I was fooled by the end of the drama... I was thinking lee dae hae was the real grand daughter after all, or atleast was the sdoptive sister of the real grand daughter. All in all, this drama is one of the best i've seen, and is reccomended :]

i finally finished. actually started this drama about january but its taken me so long to finish. i had a break from it at about ep 14. although its a great drama with a nice storyline and lots of funny scenes i couldnt take how long the story dragged on for. the amount of obstacles they had 2 overcome to finally be together seemed endless.
but i did really enjoy the ending. haha it was cute

Lee Da Hae did very well here in MG! Seeing Lee Dong Wook is his movie, STRONGEST ROMANCE' makes me perceive him as versatile actor. it's the other side of Seol Gong Chan that you see. He acted as a cop in Strongest Romance not a CEO in the hospitality industry. But he acted very well with his action kicks here and there. He and Lee Jun Ki have been dubbed as good actors in the action arena where the right and power packed flicks make a whole lot of difference to a drama and movie!

Congratulations to ALL THE THREE LEES of Lee Dong Wook, Lee Jun Ki and Lee Da Hae! Omedeteo!..............

Have you guys notice the similarities between Lee Da Hae in My Girl and Han Ji Hye as Jung Sook in Sweet 18?

While watching LDH portrayed the young, tough, sweet and cunning girl... i've noticed that her portrayal of Yoo Rin is almost the same of how Han Ji Hye portrayed Jung Sook. It's like Yoo Rin is the Long lost cousin/Twin of Jung Sook.

From the way they wear their hair and the way they dress, almost the same.
When Yoo Rin is being tough and cunning, she reminds me of Jung Sook always getting into trouble. I sometimes think that Han Ji Hye's portrayal of Jung Sook was the inspiration of LDH's portrayal of Yoo Rin.

AAAWW!!! i luved this series...it was aired in Philippines but i watched it in youtube...i really...i mean really luved the story of this...Lee Da Hae is such a good actress...she was just too funny...but not to mention whenever she cried...it broke my heart...well Lee Dong Wook can't forget him...he is sooo good looking...and in the series he was soo cold to her...but really in the end he fell for her...

This has got to be my favorite K-Drama to date!
It seriously has everything: romance, drama, angst and much more!
LDH and LDW make an adorable pair and their chemistry is really what makes you feel for this series. No wonder it was such a hit.
Everyone in this series fit their characters perfectly. Not to mention the ever adorable (and versatile) LDH. This series wouldn't have been the same without her.

Overall, I cannot express how much I love this series. & I'm sure that I won't find a series as good as this anytime soon (even the recently popular CP couldn't compare to this, although I did enjoy that series as well).

I know I'll be repeating myself about a lot of things abt. this drama. I just love it lots. And re-watching it at times gives some fresh insights abt. it.

This drama gives Lee Da Hae windows of opportunities to showcase her innate talents. This also gives Lee Dong Wook that 'elevation' that he may not even expect as disclosed in his interviews after the drama's rating going higher and higher post-MG. I think the whole cast is really great!

In my re-watching, I can help noticing LDH's clownish antics as Yoo Rin. If I were to be in Seol Gong Chan's shoes, I might just cannot hold my laughters when Yoo Rin acts 'silly' in many scenes. Wonder whether LDW has those moments when he just feel like laughing and thereby causing a halt to the filming of certain scenes. Her facial expressions are just in tandem with her childish antics. Numerous occasions for the cast to burst into laughters. She really has great acting skills.

Oh i remember watching this bts of my girl where they were filming Yoo Rin's drunk scene where she attacks the sings on the street & gong chan was behind yoo rin & he is going to call her name when yoo rin faced lee dong wook he cant stop himself from laughing when that scene happened lee dong wook just run away & all the crew members including lee da hae laughed!
