I LOVE THIS SERIEEEEE, i watched it again, lolll, Park Si Yeon is so annoying sometimes lol . i like how Lee Da Hae laughssss, she soo prettyyyyyyyyy !!! ><, i swear i have never watched a whole serie over and over again, this is serie is the besttttttttt ...

This is the best Korean drama I have ever watched. It so funny.I really love the scene where Yu-rin is telling Jung woong the key to become a convincing liar. She picks up a spicy pepper and starts crunching into it with no reaction. She looks at Jung woong and asks, "Is this pepper mild or hot." I couldn't believe she actually lie....

Sweet_Gal -this series is actually worth my time. I also watch this over & over again! Cant stop my self from watching this just love Gong Chan & Yoo Rin most specially LEE DONG WOOK & LEE DA HAE the most awesome & perfect couple ive ever seen in my entire life!

pngo -lol! Yoo Rin is the best liar ive ever seen. That scene where he was lying about that pepper not being hot gave me a big laugh. How can she do that pretend its not hot when the truth is its super hot!

My Girl is so full of funny scenes but my most fave funny scenes are:
-The part where Gong Chan & Yoo Rin were left home alone & Yoo Rin has this crazy & dirty thoughts running in her mind, saying she cant trust herself so she locked the door blocked it with a chair. Love Gong Chan's reaction, i bet he already know what yoo rin was thinking. The "RAWR" thing? Just crazy!
-My 2nd most fave part is the part where Yoo Rin was drunk, she even thought the big rock on the street is a mushroom. Love the way she would get mad on the street signs & punching & kicking the street sign coz they act like seol gong chan & then the accident kiss happened. Just love it!

I watched episode 8 a while ago & my fave funny scenes still gives me a big laugh!

I LOVE LEEDONGHAE -yup! the reason why i always rewatch episode8 its bcoz my fave funniests parts are in this episode. In this episode too Yoo Rin's lying was excellent the Mazinger Z,the hold your breath until elevator reached the ground to grant your wish, the step on the white line on the pedestrian line to have good luck & the count to 5 & the person you love will appear & apparently gong chan tried & just went crazy after seeing yoo rin. Yoo Rin is just so great in lying!

Miss......Funny too but sometimes a bit of over-doing on her part. But I recommend you to catch her in her wild clownish antics in HM. hey all.. i think i'm the slow one. hehehe was reading through some of the pages of this thread and there are lots of nice pictures!!

omg i am seriously addicted to this show.. so far i'm just up to Epsiode 13 cos i really don't want to see the crying scenes in the upcoming episodes but yet i still want to see the sweet ending.. although i half-suspected it is going to be too short for my liking! (as usual) haha.

so far there are some scenes that i really like which i want to rave about!!

there was this scene where Gong Chan was already battling within himself (although i should think it was a losing battle from the start) whether to let Yoo rin go or not.. those words that he said.. oh.. u can almost see that he's really being driven insane by his growing affections for yoo rin.

and when they first went to building 63.. that was quite a funny episode, where he just keeps getting tricked by yoo rin and yet continues to believe in what she said.

then... when they got the "couple rings" and he didn't want to return it to yoo rin he was smiling so happily and cheekily when he ran away from her.

and many many more. haha.

and the kiss at the end of Episode 13! That was so sweet!!!!! OMG!

but as much as i think Park Si Yeon might be credited with being convincing as the "villian" when she tried to break them up, and i really empathise with her character, i think she can't really act. Cos like many said, her expressions are always one and the same. And the way she plays tennis is quite... erm.. stiff, i might say? Do people play tennis like that? I mean i don't really play tennis but from those matches that i watch, it's really quite weird. Hahaha.

ok enough ranting... shall come back here again after i watch the rest of the episodes..

actually i had a question which i'm not sure was answered way before in the earlier pages, but the scene i mentioned before when he was thinking of whether to let her go or not (sorry but i can't remember which episode was it and where), so at that point was he already like in love with her and having an internal struggle?

And when he always say to himself/her/others that he doesn't want to be her cousin, is it bcos he likes her and so if they're cousins or their "official" relationship is that of cousins, then he cannot be with her? hehe thanks in advance for any answers. these must have been hot discussion topics before.. but i was just late.. ooops.

oh! and i liked the part when he was supposed to leave for Jeju island, and he was at the airport and it snowed, and although Secretary Yoon told him that it had stopped snowing he said to himself that it will never stop snowing! then he ran to yoo rin and told her that he "can't lie to himself anymore" hahahaha. oh i am so gushing over gong chan!

Park Si-Yeon......I'm a tennis player since school days. I would not say she is completely off-colours here. I heard she picked up the game while preparing for her role here. Of course she is a far cry from the Maria Sharappovva, currently on world's top spots. I'm not too sure abt. the title given to her as the Korean Maria Sharappova.

She is doing well in terms of ascending on to the silver screen. Recently she is cast with one hottie leading star in a movie called 'A LOVE' acting opposite the key guy in 200 Pounds Beauty. He is none other than Joo Jin Mo. I WAS REALLY SURPRISED THAT SHE IS IN THIS MOVIE. It sold 1 million tickets after 8 days of screening in Korea in September, 2007. I don't think she can really achieve that feat but it must be Joo Jin Mo's acting there. Sorry! Gomenasai! Hahahaha........

I didn't hate her that badly in MG except for the part of leaving Seol Gong Chan when he desperately needs her the most and come running to him when things shape up for the better. Eh......I'm spoiling a lot for you since you have not finished the drama yet.

It's my pleasure. I think by then love has made inroads into him. It's like the best of the two evils in the sense that keeping the 'lie part' still hidden or intact for the sake of his grandfather who is recovering from his illness, and he cannot really confess or rather reveal his feelings for Yoo Rin as she is supposedly disguised as his cousin. I think this is the internal struggle rearing its ugly head. Love is too overwhelmingly strong for him to handle at that juncture!

Some say that the ending was too abrupt as in too brief of both Seol Gong Chan and Yoo Rin being together after what they have gone through to come to the point of falling in love and finally resolving the lie that affects ppl. around them.

Back to Park Si-yeon.........I think the kiss at the party with SGC was very very stiff; like a pair of lips 'planting' on another. Hahaha..........Anyway it's a scripted arrangement so we cannot argue with MG's director how it should be executed. Maybe it needs Eric Mun's permission. Btw., Eric is PSY's current boyfriend. Just thinking aloud. But it is really not the reason nor excuse. SGC has lost that bit of feelings for her after her return from many successes in the tennis courts. Love gets betrayed, and maybe SGC wants her to feel the pain of her own doings. Off-topic.........I will definitely see 'A LOVE' with such a rich storyline, just to be convinced whether she has improved on her acting since the days of MG. She got an award last year at SBS' as one of the potential upcoming K-actress.

Come to think of it...........Lee Da Hae's Hello! Lady has not really performed as great as MG. I bet it's the cast that constitutes MG that gives it that extra boost to being ranked as one of the top ten dramas last year.

Would he succumb to his illness and be forever gone without seeing his real grand-daughter? I guess for the sake of keeping 'things' orderly at that time the lie must be guarded at all cost! Yet SGC knows that he has fallen for YR so how can he revolve the situation. Without putting too much pressure on YR. But they are 'cousins' and they cannot be found falling in love with each other.

i think in the drama, gong chan basically looks happiest only when he is with yoorin cos u can see him smiling, acting goofy, looking embarrassed, etc. it's just so cute, the things that transpired between them.


maybe it's a family "face" issue? i'm not sure, cos i talked about this with a friend and we thought actually it's not such a big deal, i.e. the lie about her being the grand-daughter cos it was well-meaninged. And grandpa managed to live only because of the lie!

I've a whale of time cos' I'm back home on holidays. I think MG peaks last year. This thread was pretty busy last year. Thanks for getting it back on its usual page and position in this Korean series thread. I only jump into the band wagon of MG last year. So you are not really that late. MG chalks high ratings when it was aired in Korea. It also puts LEE DONG WOOK on a different footing in K-Drama scenario. He is now more popular after this drama. Lee Da Hae and Lee Jun Ki are also great players in the K-entertainment circuit.

Watch YouTube if you can to see the NGs. And you will certainly agree that they speak great chemistry even off-set. Your DVD version of MG should carry those NGs scenes. Mine has. My English sub-titles are ok. No complaint from me.

SGC and YR act a bit off-colours in some scenes cos' LOVE probably causes them to be childish to each other esp. the naughty Yoo Rin. SGC assumes a more serious character throughout. That's also the LDW in reality. I like the ring part at the mall. It's my favourite scene too. Both are really naturally. Did you see the expression of SGC when Lee Jun Ki appeared? SGC quickly returns the ring as if nothing actually happens between him and YR. His facial expression easily gives his love game away! LJK would not 'buy' his demeanour at that time, that's for sure. See LJK's agressive eyes, and how he immediately calls for a get-together of the 4 parties in a kill-joy party!

Yepp.......I agree too. I think it boils down to family 'face' issue on the part of SGC's grandfather; what he did to his own flesh and blood will be sort of exposed to public scrutiny, as SGC's family has high standing in society as the owner of the hotel or rather an impt. shareholder of the hosipality business. Must also save face no matter what.

Yes yes i think SGC's expressions always give him away, and then he was still commenting to himself that he never used to let anyone know what is in his heart (until of course when YR comes into his life!) I think his "shocked" expressions are really cute. E.g. when Jeong woo tells him he likes YR and is going to propose to her, or when he and YR were going to "elope" and she asks him if he really likes her so much. Hahahaha i found it really funny and sweet. He's so.. innocent in that sense... caught off-guard by love.


And the SGC-Kim Sae Hoon kiss was really quite stiff like you said, totally lacklustre!

He probably sort of was quite angry with her for leaving him like that 2 yrs ago and sort of still pining after her. I think actually when she returned, he still loves her right? Just that at that point when the relationship was undergoing an endurance test, YR comes along. It's quite sad that a relationship is unable to withstand a shock, but then again KSH was quite selfish in leaving just like that to pursue her dreams.

I really hope I'm not infringing on your work time. Hope you get to see more of SGC-YR extravaganza, if I may call it, when you get the chance to log on to YouTube. Mind you.........there are plenty of them cos' MG is a much loved drama by many across Asia particularly. People are still ranting abt. it tho. its airing time is well over a long time ago. Japan caught the fever much later. It ascends national TV only in September, 2007. LDW went to Japan to do some ground-breaking, I speculate, in August, 2007. Response was good. He is gonna be a 'yonsama' to them soon esp. the older Japanese. I learnt that he is gonna be in Japan on 16th December, 2007. Maybe to do some follow-up work after MG being aired there. Cannot lose such an important market esp. if he is going to enter military service soon.

I like the endurance test you mention. True, Park Si-Yeon thinks that she can reign supreme in both loves ie. tennis and SGC. I also think that SGC still has that dustings/sprinkles of love for her when she returns to Korea to seek him out but too bad, poor timing wrecks that 'plan' by Yoo Rin just coming along and sweeping SGC off his feet a little bit at a time. Blame it on bad timing? Maybe yes or maybe no. Are we reading into the situation too deeply? Hope not. Anyway PSY does not seem to rub on the right side of the old patriach of the hotel/home. If bad timing is not the scapegoat, I think other factors would have inter-played here. Poor PSY!

I really feel for SGC esp. in episode 15 onwards when she gave him a very cold shoulder treatment which he doesn't deserve. I was thinking of how kind SGC was to her in her pre-entry into his household like saving her from her pursuers due to her father's doings. But YR will not be so ungrateful, and I believe is the love between them that stood the test of time that they must face up to it with or without SGC grandfather's approval. And they did and they won the battle!!! Am I spoiling it for you by mentioning episode 15? Hope not.

Oh i found this clip on the DVD which is "The Making Of" of MG and yah it's really very funny! hehe but the one i watched was on the last disc so i'm not sure if this clip is only on the last disc or are there more on the others (that i doubt though). And i am done with the show!! It was such a climax to the ending.. while watching the last 3 episodes it was really quite sad that yoorin had to deny her love for gong chan when he found her again. but after the 2 episodes of chasing done by him, she had her part in chasing after him as well, albeit a really short one, at bldg 63. awww it was so sweet at the end... hehe.

Ya....That denial part of YR was really a no, no for me. But somehow when I reach that part, I know that something will transpire for the good of SGC and YR. And it did! The kiss in the elevator was quite something, not quite usual in Korea drama. Guess it was also out of public view! Hahahaha.........At least it survives the 'censorship knife' when it was played over national TV. Okay I better stop here before the failure to post for you to read hovers over me!

Hai............R & R must have stand for rest and relax? Right? To me, it's nice to rest and relax with romantic comedies like MG and others. I notice your username in Fantasy Couple. It's also directed by the same person in MG. To bad it does not fare as well as MG. I have watched a few episodes of it but gave up half-way cos' the plot went a bit un-interesting at a later stage. It has some elements of MG in FC esp. the catchphrase line uttered frequently by the leading lady, Anna throughout the drama. gomenasai for the off-topic. I'm currently watching QUEEN OF THE GAME. Excellent drama!

Pretty quiet here but it's fine. Ardent fans like me pop in here once in a while to 'cheer' up this little corner. Hahaha.........

I think it's strict and stringent when it comes to 'kissing part' in most K-dramas. Their lips do not really move so their kissing scenes are off-colour and lacklustre kinda of. Gomenasai! Sorry. I pitch my reason as such that K-dramas can break into national TVs in countries. The Korean drama wave is a force to reckon with. Not all countries would really want to show too much kissing part so to speak. I could be wrong. I guess the ball is in the K-drama's court in the sense that without the 'too much kissing' part, it can also break into prime time viewing hours where the masses can be targetted irrespective of the age groups.

The 2nd and 3rd kissing episodes between SGC and YR in MG is quite a departure, I would say, in K-dramas. Your DVD of the Making of My Girl should carry the part where SGC and YR kiss in the park. Some funny comments by the director. I think LDW as SGC would have some real feelings for LDH as YR. THE LOVE CHEMISTRY is definitely great! That's the reason why both of them are well-loved by many, and it's a frequently asked question in interviews where both appear separately in various events they were in. There is always that sweet answer that 'they are good friends'. Well..........Let's wait and see!

I see... true true, the kissing scenes in korean dramas are usually not as.. explicit i should say, as compared to taiwanese serials that i've watched. e.g. when i watched full house even though i liked the show i felt that the kiss at the end of the show was just so... unrealistic. But there were those with not-too-bad kisses, e.g. Lovers, Goong, etc. Perhaps these were the more recent dramas where the directors/producers are more radical? hehe. ok veering a little off-topic.

yes! the NG of the kiss in the park.. i think the director did it on purpose to not shout "cut" and just let the 2 of them continue kissing until LDW pulled away.. and the 2 of them were so embarrassed.... haha that was quite funny. And i am also reading the thread on the 2 of them! hopefully something good happens for them

That in addition to the general great chemistry between LDW and LDH and the rest of the cast as well. I'm glad i made the choice to watch this afterall, even though i had heard about it sometime back from my friends, and it was shown on tv but as usual i missed it...
And yup the part when they first went to Bldg 63 was one of my fave parts... haha but there are actually many favourites for me!! That particular one is funny, and at the end of it, we can almost be so certain that SGC has fallen in love with JYR even tho he wants to fight that feeling in him.. awww...

i can't get enough of the show so i am rewatching parts of it! when i was watching episode 15/16 (can't remember which one), where GC was 'confronting' YR at where she was staying, just next to the x'mas tree, at that point when she was going to fling the star away.. during that scene, when the 2 were talking, i though i saw at the bottom of the screen what looked like a "microphone"? that was when the camera was focused on GC. Hahaha initially i was thinking what that was but after that i thot it spoiled a bit of the scene for me cos i started laughing out loud.

Fantasy couple.. i think it's not bad. BUT disclaimer: i only watched parts of it so can't really comment, although i caught the episodes of how they met and what happened in the end.

it's still quite ok where i am now. i think abt... 10? heard from a colleague it'll snow here next wk but too bad i won't be ard to see it anymore..

The curious me also wants to check it out! Come to think abt. it.......There was a scene of SGC and YR at the foot of the winding staircase hugging each other, and both were caught in this misdemeanour red-handedly by PSY and LJK on their way to attend the announcement and celebration of YR as the official member of the family. I like that scene so after a few times of re-playing it, surprisingly I saw YR giving her smile away instead of crying while hugging SGC and the camera 'revolves' around SGC and YR. I laugh too!

Tell me more about the staircase thingy if you can really see it. It might just come in a split second, and you need a pair of very alert and careful eyes to see it happening. It looks like YR is between crying and smiling, not really laughing, that would be an exaggeration. I'll try to get hold of the 'staircase' picture.

From the way I see it, I think he stays more on course as to the script arrangement; trying to catch his breath appears more plausible than letting out a giggle or rather a slight laughter. YR looks serious here so I don't think in any way would SGC acts out of script. In fact I thought he almost missed his steps thru' the running towards YR. Well.........It's a pair of lovers eloping episode right? I would certainly excuse them for any slight 'mishap' here! Hahaha......

Still hot on Park Si-yeon. Just pop over to her thread here, and lo and behold, I have an astounding find.

Remember the scene in MG when YR went over to her place at the hotel and PSY gave YR an invitation to her party to celebrate her success at the Kremlin Cup's? I remember PSY showing her gratitude towards YR for helping her patch up things between SGC and herself.

Yoo Rin said something abt. not daring to hurt someone of national standing or a national treasure equivalent to Korean version of Maria Sharappova, currently a top-notched world tennis player. PSY is definitely a national treasure in reality. She was the reigning MISS KOREA 2000. I can't believe it! Still trying to let that fact sinks in! Hahahaha.........

Now I begin to see why and how she ascends so rapidly in the K-entertainment industry. Certainly a no. of big players here in MG. Remember the secretary to SGC. I call her SGC's loyalist who answers to his beck and call anytime. She is also one stunning lady. First Playboy magazine's model for Korea.

yup i was online that night while re-watching parts of the drama so i thought i'd just load those pictures. hee.


regarding YR's 'giggling' in that scene, it could be either an almost NG kind of scene or maybe like u said, she's so blissful at that moment at hearing GC's confession on love. i just wonder how the NG scenes for that would be like, cos when he was running towards the staircase he was sliding towards her... Lol.. i would think at some point maybe he would really have crashed into her!

PSY.. yup! i think i was browsing her thread too and saw that she was a Miss Korea. OMG!! That pic is like.... hahaha even though you were talking abt her nose but well i wasn't focusing on that. haha. and the Secretary Yoon is the first Playboy model for Korea? no wonder her figure looks so great! She has this stern look on her face, but as the show progresses i kind of felt she was rooting totally for GC and YR!!

Yepp..........a lady with a 1000 noses. Something to the effect of like she treats her nose like an accessories. Gosh......I really hope she doesn't 'alter' it according to her whims and fancies.

At some angles, PSY is not so bad looking except her mouth. True, SGC's female loyalist has that no-nonsense kind of disposition. Hardly smile at all. I've seen her other photos; she really looks better than the ones in MG. She never questions SGC's affection for YR but is just following his orders and instructions most of the time. Work is work kinda of attitude and never interfere in her boss' personal matters. So she is really a person any employer should be interested to hire!

Hope your search has not been in vain. I usually buy these OST CD's cos' I'm a music lover. My collection is enormous of K-dramas but only the ones that I've watched. I bought MG's CD without watching the drama actually. Love the rapping tune so I decided to give the drama a try. See how addicted I'm to the drama esp. Lee Dong Wook as Seol Gong Chan.

In fact, I notice that k-dramas like to choose the hospitality industry usually as their prop background on which the managerial acumen of the actors/actresses are cast. Don't know why? I've been watching a no. of these drama series and can actually count how many have used this prop.

Must watch the elevator scene again. That was the capping-off-scene to seal the love between SGC and YR isn't it? Someone even made a slow-motioned gif. out of it! I've chucked it somewhere in my archive of MG's pictures. See whether I can retrieve it, and post later.

i was trying to download the OST unsuccessfully.. so was thinking of maybe going out to find a copy of the soundtrack although i wonder if there's anywhere in SG that sells them. yes the rapping tune is actually quite catchy ya.. but for me, it's the drama first then the music.. usually that's the case.. and the musical arrangements are typically well-done! so far, most of the korean shows i've watched, i got addicted to the songs, even though i don't understand a single word of what was being sung...

hospitality.. quite true too i think. but i haven't really watched many k-dramas.. haha... oops. but seem to recall my friends talking about some of them too.

Yes elevator scene! generally this show has got a lot of scenes that i can call my favourite so it's kinda hard to choose!! hehe. Spoilt for choice..

I finished the drama not long ago and so far, it's the BEST I've ever watched. I fell in love with MY GIRL almost immediately and this obsession lasted till the end. I was so glad that the drama turned out perfect from the beginning till the end but sadly, I feel at lost now that I finished watching. I can't seem to get over it at all even after watching another drama. It left me an incredibly deep impression. I remember everything rather clearly and really, it was heart-felt. Also, I'm happy to see many loyal fans here that finished watching long ago but still support MY GIRL all the way. What should I do now, honestly? I'm so sad it finished, I don't think I could ever find another drama as good as this. I can't get enough of Joo Yoo Rin and Gong Chan; haven't heard any news about their apperance either. I miss seeing them together but I guess Lee Da Hae and Lee Dong Wook are both individually busy.

Sorry to hear that you could not download. I know some links do not work anymore cos' it is over the 'valid' period if I may call it. Same here as to what on earth the lyrics are all about. In fact, I managed to catch up with a friend tomodachi who mingles a lot with Koreans in her dealings. She mentions it is not a difficult language to master. Never mind..........enjoy the tune without the understanding of it.

Haha.........Another addict of MG added to the pool. There is ample room for more to join the bandwagon of MG. It takes a while for that powerful addiction for MG to slowly make an exit. I'm not saying that I've lost touch with it tho. It's the BEST ROMANTIC COMEDY for me as well better than Full House and Goong (I did not complete watching the latter). There was quite a lot of 'huha' last year cos' both were spotted together in a number of functions. By now the 'dust' over them is quietly settling but not 'game-over' yet cos' many loyal fans are still rooting for their partnership in another drama hopefully. I would really prefer a movie with both in it! THEY ARE JUST IN EXCELLENT TANDEM whether in-the-set or off-the-set.

You are right, MG is a really powerful addiction. Good dramas like MG is very rare and I almost had to watch again immediately after I finished. Still, I was afraid I wouldn't like it as much as the first time. Well, first time watching is always best. Yes, I think it's better than Full House and Goong as well. In fact, a lot of patience was required for me to actually finish Goong. You must have finished watching MG a long time ago, I assume? And you still keep in touch and are as excited as the new ones here after so long! I'm really impressed and somehow at the same time, glad. I really do hope they would be in another drama or movie together someday. I totally agree with everything you said! I am so happy you share my enthusiasm! Btw, which is your next best drama? I'm curious.

Domo Thanks for replying. You are right too abt. the rarity of good dramas like MG. Ehmmm........I agree the first cut is always the deepest but sometimes I do a re-watch to get the BEST out of it. I've to rely heavily on the English sub-titles to understand the gist of the drama. I believe some meanings are actually lost thru' translation; nothing is better than the true language of the drama itself ie. Korean. Kinda of sad that I did not take up Korean in my tertiary studies cos' I was busy acquiring English.

I completed Full House but not Goong. Both are also popular K-dramas. I am also considered a late-comer to the MG popularity bandwagon. Don't know whether there is a possibility of LDW and LDH working together in future dramas or movies cos' LDW is gonna served his national service soon.

Domo...........Your reply is equally prompt. . Yepp.........The miliary has decided to 'cart' away this guy soon. It was actually revealed to his fans during his last BD celebration with his fans in November, 2007. He is gonna be away for 2 years. There are a no. of other popular celebrities serving their national service notice too. I guess there will be a void in the K-entertainment, I mean that excellent actors are making exit for the time-being.

Hope LDW's fans will not forget him. Wish him all the best then. He has just completed a movie with Kim Eugene someone he worked with previously in a drama called LOVING YOU. He was so young then with that 'blondie' hair colour! . The movie will be shown next year.

Hope you will watch the 2 dramas I have suggested. Both dramas have some relations to New Zealand esp. QUEEN OF THE GAME. Just came back from a fren's place, and I was 'touring' around NZ in her albums of photos! BEAUTIFUL..........Super-duper beautiful! . Snow Queen's sad also esp. when a person seems to turn against himself when things fouled up, and not working to one's expectations. Gomenasai for the off-topic!

hehe i've been away for a few days and a new page! icPeace62 i managed to get my hands on the MG OST! But quite sad that somehow the version i got, i can't 'rip' the tracks out of the disc to load into my ipod.. sigh, can't bring it ard with me and can only b content (for now) wif listening to it on the dvd player. But listening to the songs all over again really remind me of the drama as well.. haha i will rewatch it again when i have time!

and yes i think if given the chance i would really want to pick up korean so that i can fully grasp the meaning of their conversations!

OT: i watched a bit of Snow Queen but stopped cos i knew roughly what the ending was going to b like and usu i just prefer comedies. haha. As for Full house and Goong, watched both and liked them, but had to FF parts of Goong cos it was a bit too long..

You are right, it reminds me of the drama too and some scenes were too sad. LOL. I finished Goong very quickly because I wanted to get over the boring parts. Still, I was disappointed--didn't like it much. On the contrary, I finished MG quickly because things were too interesting that I needed to watch the next episode.

I haven't done that yet.......maybe I should give it a try when I get to do it. Procastination sometimes gets the better of me! Always fighting against time sort of!

You have watched SNOW QUEEN??? Hmm.....Sound like you do not like it right? Ya.......It has a sad ending, and I guess that could be the reason why it has not been that well-liked by many. Agree that some parts of Goong is a bit draggy.

Share your same sentiments too about LDW missing in action somewhere in the military for 2 years. Well, what to do as it's mandatory for all Korean males reaching 18 and above. A few of my Korean friends were compelled to leave imediately once they completed their studies (UK's 'O' and 'A' Level) to answer national call.

LDW should be 26 or 27 years old based on his birth year ie. 1981. Like Chinese, Koreans also add one more year to their age. That's the usual practice. When a person is born, add one year, and when a person dies, add 3 years. Sometimes I just cannot buy that idea.

He will be off soon........Maybe beginning of next year. I read somewhere that a few popular stars are also going to serve their 'national service' sentence. Most of them are at their peak of their acting career which they really work so hard to reach. After national service, I really wonder how many of them can regain their pre-national service status and popularity. I hope LDW will continue to get his fans' support. Loking at his fan base in some countries, I think THAILAND is his stronghold. That's why he went there at least 3 times for fashion shows and promotion of ARANG, a summer hit in 2006. Sorry for the off-topic.

Hope you will watch the dramas suggested. Snow Queen might not really get you 'hooked' on it like what verena amber mentions about the predictability of it. Then give Queen of the Game a try. You might like it better.

icPeace62 i watched parts of Snow Queen but i heard from my colleague about what kind of ending i should b expecting so i wasn't too keen on finishing it.. hehe. i guess that part spoils the drama for me but well, there are always the dramas like My Girl with good endings that i love! when it comes to watching dramas, i guess i still like the cliche "happily-ever-after" kind of ending. kekeke.

icPeace62 and Magneto X7 thanks for the tech help.. haha actually the disc worked for me the 2nd time i popped it into my pc's cd-rom drive. It's quite weird but it works ok now, like a normal audio disc. Usually i just convert them into MP3 format in iTunes and they can be copied directly into the ipod. Yay!! I'm quite happy now cos of that.. haha...

it's really quite a pity that LDW (and others) will have to take a break from their careers to serve the country... cos it seems like he is only just getting the kind of recognition from his work after toiling so hard and now it's like 2 yrs! he will need to be away. Hopefully the 2 yrs will pass soon enough!
