I don't understand what's the rave about in this thread. I'm watchig My Girl now & i think my Girl was just an okay series. Lee Dae Hae is super cute of course but i don't like the main actor. For some reason i prefer watching Lee Jun ki better, i like his super cute smile & eyes.

honestly, im still weighing which one is funnier, Full House or My Girl... both of them are comedy-love story but their humor is different with each other...

im fascinated with Yoo Rin in MG because she's so bubbly and very smart, she easily portrays any character (meaning pretend or imitate) that she fools anybody around her, hehehe... i came to know Jun Ki in this series, and i also became a fan of his since i never saw before such a beautiful actor, bwahahaha!!!

I'M BAAAACK!!! gosh, i've been gone from this thread for quite some time! i've been catching up on other dramas and school started again . i'm glad to see that my girl is still very popular among its fans though i've watched it 290439328 times already! aaanyways, sorry it took so long to respond to these comments about the snowglobe. thanks to all those that congratulated me

well, i searched for the snowglobe b/c...well....i'm crazy for My Girl! it was the first kdrama i watched, and after this, i was hooked!! (is it me, or is LDW the epitome of korean hoTTTness? ) i thought it was so cute that GC bought it for YR, i just had to get it. i searched eBay for a long time. finally found it under "precious moments water dome". it was only $20, plus s+h. unfortunately, it wasn't sent to me in the original box, so i have no idea what the actual name of the snowglobe is. however, the base of the snowglobe does read, "My Precious Angel filled with love. A blessed gift sent from above." also, it plays "rock-a-bye baby" when you wind it up (i believe in the drama it played an instrumental of the beatles' "yesterday").

so i'm guessing you could look at places where they sell precious moments stuff. i figured eBay was the best. i also googled, froogled, went to shops in the malls, and a precious moments expo here in hawaii. but eBay was the best bet. i'm sure since the christmas holiday is coming up, there should be an influx of these at different shops.

In my opinion, both FH and MG were great series but MG had a more appealing factor. I love how bubbly LDH is while SHG's role was more reserved. FH was funny but it was so annoying when BIKYO constantly argued. I am glad that LDH and LDW don't have to bicker constantly to achieve chemisty as FH did. Overall, MG was livelier and both my niece and I prefer watching MG. I even bought the series. Everytime I watched it, I fall for LDW over and over.

And everytime I read it, I get excited and then i'd then read that it's just a rumor... It's very frustrating you know... True, true, true....so we fall into the fallacy of sterotyping that K-dramas end tragically but I glad that the K-drama landscape has undergone some revamp/overhaul in the sense that more romantic comedies are on the offerings now esp. with FULL HOUSE setting the trend....MG, MLKSS, Let's get married etc... More will be in the pipeline, that's 4 sure...somehow comedic dramas act as natural stress reliever tons and loads!!!

Ya...it's going to be one complicated plot that spells boredom to us...2 me Memories of Bali was a high-cut kinda of love relationship...words just fail me...how 2 explain...the ending where all the leads died was a shocker!!!! Bloody death!!! I'm not too satisfied with that kind of ending cos' it's love wrapped up in obession and violence...I just play along with Ji-Sup more than In Sung!

Yrin did say in the drama that even if he teams up with Jki whoo is persistent in his wooing moves, she would not be able to face up to Gong Chan who fills the vacum in her heart despite the fear of losing GChan if the disguise is exposed....

Too many plotlines may extend or invite unwanted complexities...k-dramas have also moved out of this zone of being dubbed lengthy...I like it that way sort of to do and be done with...MY GIRL staying at 16 episodes deserves a thumb-up nod...the effect has already made inroads...and an immense one alright! To churn out an excellent drama in fewer episodes needs a lot of skills definitely...cos' I'm in the midst of writing one to be done and do with in less than 30 minutes!!!!!Hard going but the LEES are great inspiration!
