TVXQ to release 10,000 copies of second album’s showcase VCD
October 25, 2005

The music group TVXQ will release 10,000 copies of its showcase VCD, entitled “Rising Sun Showcase VCD,” on Oct. 29.

The VCD, comprising two discs, features the group holding a showcase of its second full-length album on Sept. 11 at the Jamsil Main Stadium in Seoul.

The VCD is expected to explode in popularity among the group’s fans as it contains a full-version video of the showcase, a screen saver, three versions of background screens, the music video of the song “When We Promised,” and a making-of documentary.

The group’s agency, SM Entertainment, said it decided to produce the VCD at the request of fans who could not participate in the showcase as well as those who wanted to relive the memories of that event. The agency added it had been flooded with such inquires recently.

The 10,000 copies of the VCD, which are expected to be sold out immediately, will hit record stores nationwide on Oct. 29.

TVXQ will also make an appearance at the “I Love Jeju” concert slated for Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Jeju Convention Center to mark the year 2006 as the “Visit Jeju” year.

On Oct. 29, the group will stage performances on the new MBC music program entitled “Show! Music Center” and at the 2005 Korean-Japanese joint tsunami response benefit entitled “To Our Asian Friends.”

^^ jaejoong is fine now. the doctor says he jus need a bit more rest. but a few days ago he went on stage and perform with the guys jus that when he sang his part he was sitting in a chair... but he's fine now. he will be bak on walking soon but for now he's still resting

TVXQ to release third single in Japan
November 2, 2005

The male music group TVXQ will release its third single album in Japan, entitled “My Destiny,” on Nov. 2.

The group’s agency, SM Entertainment, said on Nov. 1 that the album contains three tracks, including the ballad songs “My Destiny” and “Eternal.” The song “My Destiny” is featured every Monday on Tokyo TV’s entertainment show “Monday Entertainment.”

TVXQ’s third single album, which will go on sale concurrently in Korea and Japan, will be released together with 501 lottery tickets. One of the lottery winners will receive seven CDs, including a DVD featuring an intervew with the group, while the remaining 500 lucky purchasers will receive the group’s posters.

TVXQ will soon hold an audition in China for selecting a Chinese member. At an award ceremony of a Chinese music festival held by Dongnam TV on Oct. 30 in Fujian, SM Entertainment producer Lee Su-man said the audition will be shown on the program entitled “Hot Asia,” during which TVXQ and the female group Chunsangjihee will select the Chinese member.

The exact airing date of the audition, whose preliminary round is currently being held in China, has yet to be announced.

The music group TVXQ is taking Japan by storm. The group’s third single, entitled “My Destiny,” took the ninth spot of the Oricon daily chart in the single category on the day of its release on Nov. 2.

This is the group’s second single album in a row to break the chart’s top-10, following its second single album, entitled “Somebody To Love,” which finished seventh on the chart on the day of its release on July 14.

During the first week after its release, “Somebody To Love” also took the 14th spot of the Oricon weekly chart, making TVXQ the first Korean male music group ever to make it to the weekly chart’s top-20.

The same-titled title track of TVXQ’s third single album, “My Destiny,” features a gentle melody perfectly harmonized with the group’s impressive vocals. It has been selected as the theme song of Tokyo TV’s popular variety show “Monday Entertainment,” which airs every Monday and is hosted by the famous Japanese emcee Mino Monta.

But the success of TVXQ’s third album cannot be ascribed solely to its title song. The album's other tracks--the ballad “Eternal” and the Acapella version of “My Destiny”--also gained enormous popularity among listeners.

Asia's Stars to Hold Joint Concert for APEC
November 4, 2005

PUSAN (Yonhap) -- Asia's star singers are to gather in a South Korean port city to add to the festive mood of the 2005 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit to be held on Nov. 12-19, organizers said on Friday.
The pop stars will be brought together in Pusan to perform for the ``Asian Song Festival,’’ which celebrates the upcoming opening of the APEC summit, according to the organizers.

The stars include Tong Fang Xien Qi, a popular South Korean boy band, Hong Kong singer Kelly Chen and Thai singer Lanna Commins. Aikawa Nanase, a Japanese rock singer famous for her hit albums in South Korea, will also perform at the event.

More than 12,000 people are expected to attend the event and the show will be aired in different countries in Asia, the organizers said.

The tickets are available on the Web site of Asia Culture Industries and the Korea Foundation (http://www.ikoface.com/asf).

The APEC summit, launched in 1989, is mainly designed to boost trade among its members, for the ultimate purpose of establishing a free trade area by 2020. In recent years, however, the global forum has expanded its scope to discuss issues such as terrorism and corruption.

yes hero is recovered but he is still walkin around with crunches. the doctor said he is FULLY healed by next month. He came on SBS ingiakyo to perform Rising Sun with the guys but he was sitting on the couch though singin not dancing the doctor said he needs more time to recover.

Lee Soo Man [the head of SM entertainment] decided to still stick to that plan called the "blue ocean strategy" where he will pick one chinese male singer to be in the group. He says that he wants people to know that SM will go national wide and is open up to other music such as chinese, japanese etc. So now he's deciding whether or not he would do that since there is also a new female group in SM that is pretty popular these days along with DBSG. Lee Soo Man is deciding to put a chinese female singer in the girls group and a chinese male singer in the boy's group. The decision is still undecided.


man I swear Lee Soo Man is making a stupid mistake. If he does this one more time, he would create chaos among those fans. Those DBSG fans are not good to mess with. Few weeks ago during a fan signing a fan kiss yunho on the lip and later she got up by 30-60 fans and is still in critical condition. if he make a stupid decision boy... I wish him good luck

Hi, everyone! I'm Spanish and I have known Dong Bang Shin Gi for a short time. Although I've only listened to three or four of their songs, I think that they're pretty good. I've found they have a deep voice and their voices are very armonical, which I like.

There's one of their songs that I specially like - it's called "Trust". I don't really know what is it about - I haven't found an English translation yet - but I like the music anyway, whatever they're saying ^ ^U.
When I listen to them singing "Trust" and "My little princess", to some extent... they remind me of Backstreet Boys... ^ ^

I think the cutest of the band is Hero.

TVXQ, Kimg Jong-kuk and Buzz to give benefit concert
November 17, 2005

The music groups TVXQ and Buzz and singer Kim Jong-kuk will give a benefit concert entitled “Voices For Children” on Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul. They will donate all proceeds from the concert to the St. Severance Hospital of Yonsei University to fund the operations of seven children suffering from heart diseases.

The concert is being co-organized by the online music site Muse and entertainment planning company Instars.

Buzz visited the hospital on Nov. 10 to encourage the sick children and their parents, and promised that the performers would do their best to bring them hope and joy.
