So...I don't know how it happened, but over the week I became a gigantic DBSG fan. It was odd; I was just listening to "Rising Sun" for the second time in about half a year (when I first heard it I didn't like it), and then I began to play it over and over again because I decided I love it now. Then I started searching for their performances/MVs on YouTube and now I'm looking for a forum to join.

Are there any active DBSG forums out there? I can't seem to find any using Google.

this is just a personal wish, it has quite a bit to do with the kind of person i am, but...i think what i would love most, is to be able to meet with the members and just...hang out with them. not be a fangirl, not go crazy over them, not treat them as celebrities, but just like regular people.

i want to hold ordinary conversations with them about extraordinary things. i want to talk with them about what they feel is most worthwhile in this life. i want to talk with them about religion. i want to understand them as people. as much as i love their image, their looks, their voices, i want to know them on a deeper level...and it's depressing to think that that can't happen.

i had this problem with daniel radcliffe as well, sorry if this is off topic or anything, if so, just kick me or something. i have seen a little of his personality outside of acting as Harry Potter, and he seems like such a rich, deep person, yet i know that i will not have the opportunity to ever truly get to know him.

what is it that you most value aobut these young men? they're growing up and they have dreams. they have emotions. they have goals. they have lives and personalities beyond anything we, as fans, as outsiders, never have the opportunity to see. it's a truly depressing thought.

i feel that i would very much love to go down to virginia, which is barely a twenty minutes' drive from where i live, and find micky (pahk) yoo chun oppa's family and ask them about who he was before he became a singer, what kind of person he was, what kind of son he was, what kind of brother. i want to know what school he went to and talk to his friends. i want to find out what church he went to and what kind of christian he was.

i sound like a stalker. what do we do with this desire to know them as people, though? if not ask the people that knew them personally, because we cannot touch them personally? is there simply no way to ever truly know these people that seem so untouchable? but that's such a depressing thought. at least through family and other connected people, you get a glimpse of their life and their thought-process and who they are underneath the make-up, smiles, acting, and image. as young as they are, and as innocent, honest, and readable they seem to be, they're celebrities and very aware of their image.

i admire the members of DBSK for their apparent earnesty, hard work, honesty, and compassion. they're so heart-wrenchingly sweet, and all i can do is stand by and watch with this uncontainable emotion welling up inside of me, without being able to convey any of it to them, without being able to express anything, without being able to touch them as they have touched me. the strength, the happiness, the calm, the soothing that their music and some of their antics on tv programs have given me is something that has moved me from somewhere deep inside of me and yet...i have no way of repaying that debt.

i'm a very physical person. i'm also, apparently, a very motherly person. when the members are sad or like when yoo chun oppa was sick, or jaejoong oppa hurt his leg, i wanted to hold them and tend to them and pray for them and make things better, but all i could do was sit and watch. what do you do with overflowing love and concern?

this is getting to be far too long, sorry, i'm just pouring out a bit of my soul that hasn't been expressed to anyone, really. i find it slightly ironic that i do it here, to basically anyone in the world who wants to read through this long, convoluted mess. ^^;; but to wrap this all up, i ask again, what is it that you most value aobut these young men?

I'm from the Philippines too. Yeah.. you're right! Lucky are those countries that they got to visit.

I wish they'll have a concert here someday... but unfortunately chances are very few. they're not really popular here... I don't know why!

And oh! I'm glad knowing someone from the Philippines whose a huge fan of dbsk too... (because i thought i'm the only Filipino who knew DBSK exist!...hehe...)

How I wish they'll be famous here... Oh well... if Filipinos got to know this group?... I'm sure they'll go crazy for them too! ayt?!

Nielenon: wow, what a very nice, heartfelt post you have there..........hehe.........i actually read through all of that..........hehe..........i get what you're trying to say tho..........i would also love to do the same.........just get to know them as individuals..........regular people.........hehe........and to answer your question: "what is it that you most value aobut these young men?"...........well, first of all, they are like the only guy group that i've really gone obsessed over.........no group has ever touched me the way that they did.........i love them not only because of their talent and good looks..........i love how they can just touch the hearts of their fans..........they probably don't even know how deeply their fans feel for them..........and even tho we speak different languages, i feel like that i can understand them..........by the way they sing, through their performances, i can feel what they are trying to convey through their songs........and that's what really touches my heart.........that's what i value about them.........that they give it their all every time they're in the public eye..........for their fans..........it's their hardwork i guess.........some of them have been through many hardships before entering the group and have come a long way to get where they are now.........so maybe that's why they work so hard eveytime..........for themselves and for their fans.........and thanks to them for that..........did i even answer that question right?? haha.........did it even make sense?? ..........but yea, they will always be my #1 guys...........
