What are some disturbing or gruesome TVB scenes that you've watched before? Those that make you cringe or think...that is very wrong or disturbing.
One for me was in The Final Verdict when Tsang Kong (Roger Kwok character's dad) buried his relative's whole family under the stove or cabinet of a restaurant...to this day...the music and everything about that scene was extremely disturbing for me.
What do you think?

For me it has to be the scene in Secret of the Heart when Sunny's character went to Kelvin's (Nick Cheung) room and saw the whole room cover with Diana's (Ada Choi) blood.

I agree. That episode of Secret of the Heart scared me: when Kelvin found that Diana was trying to get information off him...
but nowadays TVB series arent very grusome...

There was this scene in Armed Reaction (I can't remember which one) where the gy who works at the cha chan teng killed this other lady and when they came to investigate the case they turned off the lights and shone black light and there was blood everywhere and there was like a flashback of what happened.
Until today that scene just spooks me out, Iono why

TVB is too SOFT, there is never any grousome scenes because probably a lot of kids like to watch it.
the blood is so fake, the acting is so fake, i dont know i totally lost interest in TVB because these new actors/actresses are so exagerated when they act.
more cute then actual acting.

i think "kay wan chiu" has a lot of gruesome scenes!!
the episode about the mahjong, the scene where the man is in the lift; the top and the sides of the lift starts to close into him and blood starts drooping out of the lift's walls! >.<

OMG that was seriously disturbing and freaky! Especially knowing how Kelvin is so cruel and that we don't
really
see him finishing Diana off but we do see the result of all the bashing! *shudder* so sad for Diana!

I don’t remember the name of the TVB series, but it came out around the mid 90s. I just remember there was one part where this psychotic lady killed someone and cut him/her up into tiny pieces. Of course, they didn’t show her actually cutting the person up. However, the disturbing part was she took those pieces and used them to make “gu lo yuk” aka sweet and sour pork. The next day, she took the plate of “gu lo yuk” to the supermarket and served it as samples to the shoppers. lol. Yeah, it was pretty freaky.

axerine: I agree with one. The scene of how Evergreen Mak died in "Forensic Heroes I" was pretty gruesome. He was like kneeling down in the bathtub and when I think it was Yoyo or Frankie opened the water and the hot water foamed up the words and including the background music was pretty scary.

i think most of tvb's series are soft now, nothin too gruesome. i can only remember Anthony Wong's (wong chow sung) movie w/ the title going by something like Human Meat Bun (yun yolk cha siu bow). now that one was phenomenal. killing ppl, dismember them and make them into a bun and feed it to customer. hahah

I remember when I was younger DIF scenes used to scare me . But now TVB series aren't really disturbing or gruesome at all . They won't make any that're disturbing because they'll get complaints ! They got complaints from Last One Standing and I didn't find it disturbing at all .

I think there are so many gruesome endings in the shows, esp when they show dead bodies, or when they are very aggresively beating eachother up. But I guess that is what makes a show more interesting.

There was a scene in Once Upon a time in Shanghai where Gordan cut off Sunny's little finger off, it was disgusting at the time cos I was having my dinner and I had to look away cos the fake finger looked freekishly real!
In Cold Blood Warm Heart. It was disturbing to watch Gallen giving a blinded Nnadia a beating of her life and putting her in a coffin, burying her alive!

Oh my gosh, I read about Anthony Wong's movie where people were murdered and their meat was used for pork bun. Eww, even though I didn't saw it, it already sounds disturbing as if. It kind of makes me turn away from meat. But anyway, as a child, DIF4 really, really freaked me out. I remember watching it under my blankets and with my parents. I couldn't even watch the whole thing without peeking through the blankets. I don't know why it was scary, but it was for me. I can't quite remember which case it was, but it gave me a gruesome feel. Oh and, that case where they were locked in that 'street' thing...I got scared because of that. Hm, I rewatched it and it's even scary at all. But I think it was because I was a kid and the whole trapped in a place you don't know and can't be rescued, the atmosphere seemed so eerie, it scared me. Okay, I think this is DIF4 also but I'm not quite sure; it's when the younger version of Charmaine (?) walked into her room and saw her mom dead with blood all over. I only remember DIF4 scaring me; it left the longest impression. I can't think of anything else haha

oh yeah. that street case was kind of eerie and it freaked me out to think they were trapped with the murderer.
i think the most memorable one for me is the one everybody is talking about...the one with Ada and Nick Cheung. it was crazy. there was also a scene in another TVB series i don't remember where these gangsters were beating someone very badly. i was especially freaked out when the bad guy used a chair from the restaurant and repeatedly smashed him with it. that scene made me feel uncomfortable.

DIF used to scare me too! Especially when someone dies.
These days:
Forensic Heroes I- most of the cases were quite disturbing. I got really scared by the electricution scene towards the end and how Evergreen Mak died
Healing Hands-They just look too real
Last Man Standing-The last scene with Roger getting up really scared me

Um...does anyone remember this show which is kinda like the X-Files? It has Gallen Lo in it (not W files), it's like in the 90s so it's pretty old. And something about his father, there's this guy who looks like his father except if he didn't age at all but then overnight he aged too much and was dying. And doctors was like, it's just alzheimers or something. There are alien things in the show as well.
That story creeped me out, I thought that it happened in real life! And I couldn't finish it.
