In fact the incident was never made known to Yu Hao "Victor" until the last few episodes...

i really got attached to it because while i was surfing the channels and i couldn't find anything good i watched the outsiders... at first it thought it was boring but the story is really very catchy!

anyway, i really like the tune of the intro and ending song. i hum the song cos' i still don't know the lyrics.. haha!! now i always sleep late because of this series. ' it's shown at 10:30PM and it's and hour long.. but aside from that it's all good!

i absolutly luv dis series one of my fav, i heard the sequal is done shooting can't wait to see, though my fav character won't be in it. I just bought the dvd for it, but it doesn't have english sub, so i hope there will be one out soon, so far i know is that in d-attics only the first episode is english subbed.

OMG! I'm also getting hooked w/ this series!! blush I saw this first on cetv but I can't understand it but it seems that it was really a nice series... then I learned that it will be shown in abc5 at 5pm, much to my disappointment because I have classes until 6pm!! then one time I was reviewing for my exam late in the evening and I was watching tv, then I saw it!!! right there and then I was hooked!!! I can't keep my eyes off the tv screen! I fell in love w/ Ricky's character blush from then on, I never missed an episode even if I stay late in the evening just to watched it!!! it was really a great series

like you, i always sleep late because even i have work the following day, i never missed this serie... im happy that this is shown during 10:30pm to 11:30pm because i can watched it.. hehe... ...even if its too violent, the story was really nice...

Hey, i've finished this series awhile ago but i still love it! lol, and for those who havent watched it yet, i stongly recommend it.

SPOILER! if you dont want to know what is goin to happen, skip this!!
At the beginning, theres a girl who is innocent and plays the piano and a guy who's father died and mother left him. When he grew up, two friends of his and he was "protecting" others that was picked on. and when the main character guy, Yu hao, got beat up, the gurl saved him and he wanted to thank her for helping him. she thought he was a bad guy and all he was a gangster, but he wasnt. They soon fell for one another, but on of yu hao's buddy also liked her, but he didn't say anything. There was another girl, hong dau, who used to like yu hao and was threatening Tieu yen tu(the innocent gurl) but soon they became bestfriend. One of yu hao's buddy always pick fights with hong dau and they hated each other, but in the end they ended up together. The innocent gurl's parent didnt approve of her relationship with yu hao so they decided to send her off to america to go to skool, but she dint want to go. she ran away and eloped with Yu hao. When they eloped, they found a little place and lived there. Yu hao wanted to buy her a piano so bad but didn't have the money so he joined a gang. Things started to go bad and The innocent gurl got raped but one of the bad guyz. she dint want yu hao to find out so she told everybody to not tell him. Becuz she got raped, The guy that likes her, yu hao's friend, went to jail for killn the guy that raped her. he got out 4 years later and during that time, the innocent girl was no longer innocent. she changed her appearance and became a "big sister" type. Later, when the bad guyz were up to no good, yu hao helped a girl from another place that had been tricked, and she reminded him or the innocent gurl that he fell in love with, so he helped her and she fell in love with him. one night, wen yu hao and his gf got in a fight, he got drunk and slept with the other gurl, thinking it ws his gf. The gurl that he slept with wanted him to her self so she told his gf that she was pregnant, only so he would stay with her. later on, there was trouble and Hong dau and the gf was gunpointed and hong dau was kidnapped. she was later killed by the bad guyz. Ah Qi, her boyfriend was crushed and wanted revenge, while doing so, he got shot in the leg and was paralyzed. He went to her grave and brought two rings, and he said that he wanted to marry her. Later on, when the "pregnant" girl told the truth, she was to leave and go back home, but the bad guy told her to call yu hao and tell him to come out, she did as he told her and when he came out, he was stabbed by the bad guy and was rushed to the hospital. When he was dying, all he was thinking about was his gurlfriend. he died in the ambulance. later on, his gurlfriend went to the hospital, becuz she was weak and they found out that she was pregnant! and then it was 5 years later. she had a boy and was a teacher at a preschool. and that was about it!! hope you enjoyed my summary! lol

Iron and Ady really did a nice job in this serie. To bad Iron died at the end. I've seen this movie awhile back and can't help but record it to add to my collection. The part where ady ride in the back of the ambulance with Iron is really touching. It almost had me crying. The the song "Breathe Again" is really good.

i saw a poster of part II it had the faces of iron and alan on the cover, on the bottom i saw the numbers 9/29 so...i'm guessing i could be wrong though ...that might be the date it will be showing in taiwan.

there is one thing i don't understand....the fish logo. i know yu hau (iron) gave the girl the necklace, and it has the fish on it, and also, before the girl was about to leave for the airport....he made some fish thing outside her door......and her tattoo and the fish on their patio balcony place. i don't really get what it stands for?.....is it because of yu hau's name?....and also, just wondering. does part 2 have any link to the f.i.r. - my love. mtv or is that another show?

i read the online story from which this show was based 3 years ago...and it really touched me..but when this drama came out i didnt' want to watch it because i knew the ending was going to be so sad =(

this is one of the best series i saw..... i finish it in 2 days.... the topic is interesting...but i don't think it's that really realistic......anyways.... there are unexpected things in the movie....such as "red bean" died and the girl was rape.... the second one is coming out...can't wait to see it...

its definately one of the better tw series!! i loved it !!!!!! i was so obsessed with it for a long time after! it deals with real issues, sheds plenty of tears, its pretty bleak at times, but the end is fulla promise!!! a real brotherhood type drama with plenty of angst, beat ups + love.

I believe part 1 would be the classic one like it always do for movies or dramas. But part 2 would give the different atmosphere including a fresh new comer for this series !

has anyone read the original short story that the outsiders was based on?????

u mean the internet short story, well, it's the story that the outsiders was based from, kind of like how meteor garden is based on hana yori dango..... the short story is called ?? flower, it was really touching, but there were some difference between the story and the series, like in the story the girl is only 14 and the guy was 18, whereas in the series, the girl was 17 and the guy was 19.

This is probably the most touching serie i have ever watched!..i love THE OUTSIDERS!....its really cool and the story is really sad...but im happy the ending is good! Does anyone know where to download episodes of THE OUTSIDERS 2?...i have to watch it!..... After I watched it once i had to watch it for the second time....!..The male actors are really kool and very good looking and the female actor is really pretty and sweet!...I didn't liked she beeing raped and Yu Hao make love with the mainland girl, it makes the whole story a little bit weird!...And that mainland girl really pissed me off...she dont look like Xiao Yan Zi, hate her!.......And Hong Dou was the coolest girl in this serie...why did she die....but anyway this is the best serie beside Meteor Garden 1/2!....and it's also the sadest one...this serie made me cry all the time...really sad stuff..very touching!...i cant wait to see THE OUTSIDERS 2...!
