Its pretty difficult to sing while dancing in a very fast pace. Like, Usually they lip-syned for Rising Sun. But "O" is a much faster and techno-ish song so its even more difficult. I don't really care if they lip-sync or not, as long as they're healthy and fine i don't mind

about the lip synching and smoking...
as a singer myself, I know it is MAD difficult to sing and dance at the same time - and with the routine the boys do for 'O' theyd be out of breath, and it would sound bad (regardless of their stamina). as well the mic would pic up the rustling of thier clothes and breathing. its not a matter of the boys not being able to sing or that SM is trying to force them not to sing by focussing on perfection and visual.

As well like Fairytale_Angel said, if u sing too much it will damage ur voice, and ur vocal cords. You have to let ur voice rest, We don't want anything to happen to the boys' voice do we?

I don't think smoking increases your vocal range...if anything i think it would deepen your voice... but I have no knowledge of this so ill find out for sure. and let you all know.

about the SMMF,
hmm i don't really know what to say about this really. I think like one of the girls said, maybe MFMT should do a 50% judge and 50% fan vote. When u think about it SM artists have HUGE fan clubs, so it's no wonder they won all the awards. But other artists won as well, so I don't think it was monopolized. I think SM is very good a promotions and giving fans what they want, and that's why SM artists won so many awards.

Ah... I think JaeJoong meant that he wanted to marry a fan of DBSK in general. Since they're all close friends, marrying a fan would ensure that at least the girl would like all of JaeJoong's best friends... and enjoy their singing.

But I don't think he would marry an !obsessed fangirl! type. He'd probably stick with the "Yeah, I like listening" to their music type. But hey...! No need to make prejudgments anyways. It's his life, after all. I just cringe at the thought of DBSK getting married at all their !fangirls! going mad! It almost NEVER works out like it does in dramas where like the entire world supports the couple. She'd probably be getting death threats night and day and need more security than DBSK themselves.

...As for the smoking increasing your range... I heard Mariah Carey actually confess that she was able to hit those higher notes only after she quit smoking. So maybe it's after you quit smoking that your voice changes? I do notice a difference though. Sometimes, cause I sing in church, even when I'm sick... but I really feel like singing, I'll still push my voice to sing. Then when I recover from my cold, I'll notice that I can hit higher notes than I can before (usually not that much higher, usually just up a step, or sometimes a full note).

Xiah confessed that because he did all that screaming during puberty to try and get his singing voice back... that's why his voice is the way it is now (all high... with a lot of breaking).... so maybe it's if you sing WHILE you smoke that you're really pushing your voice. BUT NOT RECOMMENDED. It's not smart to do that. You have to let your voice naturally adjust while going through puberty. That's why Xiah has a voice that is a higher pitch than to be expected of males his age. He strained his voice too much during puberty. He still sounds fine (and not like a little girl or something)... but it is... unique, to say the least.

Xiah and JaeJoong (and Micky too, I suppose) were lucky that they didn't do permanent damage to their voice (Especially Xiah with the whole 'screaming during puberty' thing).

About DBSK lip-synching and all that...
personally, i think that singing and dancing at the same time is practically impossible. even in the beginner's dance class that is offered at my skool, i find it difficult just to learn a simple dance combination that is less than a minute. yeah, DBSK doesn't sing live during most of their dance performances, but they do sing their ballads live. and for their dance performances, it's not like they're just standing there and doing nothing; their faces & bodies are drenched in sweat after the dances. but i do think that they are trying too hard to appeal to the audience's visual senses (like with the fireworks and stuff like that). if the audience wants DBSK to sing and dance at the same time, i don't think that their performances will be as extravagant and fancy. you win some, you lose some..right?

MKMF=SMMF? hahax Probably ^^; Because come to think of it, many of the winners are either currently in SM Ent or they were in SM ENT before. But that doesn't mean that I doubt the talent of DBSG, Li Yin, Shinhwa, FTTS etcs.. but that is just a thought ^^; About Lee Soo Man abusing the artistes under SM TOWN, I think 50% of it are rumors because SM ENT does held events for SM artistes; like a outing..... Not only DBSK , but many other boybands or girlbands of Korea also lipsync when they perform a dance song ( H.O.T , Shinhwa , G.O.D , S.E.S , Baby V.O.X , FinKL , ...now DBSK , SS501 , Paran , Super Junior ,...) , except some music programs don't allow them to lipsync .Some reasons can't be explained obviously ... Maybe the lipsync is very familiar with K-fans . Of course they don't always lipsync and K-fans accept it as long as they know those groups can sing live well . But I still think it's a weak-point of K-pop

But anyway , like I said before , some reasons can't be explained obvioulsy and the important thing is the fact that we knows DBSK can sing live well even in a dance song ( watch O live performance in Music Bank or in Japan^_^ ) , so we should end this problem



Beside the good relationsip of SM & Mnet , Junsu is also a factor that created ZRI's success . U know , that's not surprised if Cassiopia voted for her because of Junsu !!! And of course she won , because DBSK has a huge fanclub . When she thanked Junsu in MKMF , the fans shouted like crazy . I must say that she sings live really bad and she just has a single . If I had voted , I would have choosen Brown Eyed Girls .
She need time to practice more and maybe she will improve in future but now , her win doens't persuade me

Forever Charmed: Heroine6 is a gameshow as well. in the show, there are these 6 ladies who will appear on the show. and they play games like Catch the Mouse...and this other game which i forgotten the name. as for Xman, the old concept of the game --> guest artistes are invited to appear in the gameshow. and they are divided into groups headed by Kang Ho Dong and also Lee Hyuk Jae. and one person is selected as the Xman. but no one knows who is it. every invited guest will have to guess who is the Xman in the end of the show. the Xman will be the person who will try to make his/her team to lose in games. however, now they have come up with this new concept of the gameshow. i don't understand the new concept though. so i can't explain it to you. maybe someone who understands the new concept can kindly explain it.

Heroine 6 is a gameshow where they played the 'mouse' game [the one where they wore the cute mouse ears ] the stage resembles a classroom and there are 6 girls on that show [regulars] hence, Heroine 6

On the last heroine 6 episodes [there were 2 of them], all 5 members were present. you can do a search on youtube. I'm pretty sure there are uploads on that episode. It's pretty popular ^^

okay i got the latest news update. their 9th Japanese single is yet to be named. but you can pre-order it from yesasia.com and it's actually a single+DVD version. and it's expected to be released on 24th Jan 2007. yesasia.com provides the description to the "yet to be named" single. but i can't read a single Japanese. so i can't translate it for you girls. sorry.
