There are many reasons why I like Hong Kong. One is that there's a harbour. It's really beautiful.

that we've been to this peak before. I was asleep at that time. So, I'm the only one who doesn't
remember going there.

During our special interview, the five of them who are full of energy revealed many secrets about
each other that not many others know about. Since they're all sitting in a row here, let's ask them

5 members, who eats the most?

Changmin:
Ummm... Compared to other members, my appetite is a bit larger. Yeah... I really eat a lot...

Junsu:
First of all, he can really eat a lot. If he's really hungry, the highest record for eating in
one day is 7 or 8 meals. If he needs to lose weight, he would still eat all 3 meals [breakfast,
lunch, dinner] in a day. Just like what I said before... His consumption level is very high.
[His appetite is very big.] That's why out of the 5 members, he is the tallest.

Changmin:
Yes, it's me. I'm the youngest out of all of them. The youngest, right? So, I like to sleep the most.
Yeah... That's right. I really need lots of sleep.


Jaejoong:
Changmin loves to eat tonics [food that enhances one's health] the most. Also sleeps the most... The
earliest to sleep and the last to get up. He also likes to take afternoon naps. Frankly, his energy
consumption should be the lowest [meaning he should be the least likely member to have his energy
exhausted]. Plus, he's so young. If he sleeps that much and still thinks it's not enough, maybe his
body/health has some problems. To say it bluntly [in a bad/negative way], it must be a body/health
problem. To say it in a good/positive way, it's because he wants to grow taller, so he likes to sleep.
And we all agree that he is the tallest in our group.

(singapore show) this band SOUL sang RISING SUN! it was because soul sang rising sun on another show, SUPERBAND, that caught my attention a few months back. i researched on DBSK and fell in love because Soul sang rising sun! haha.. maybe more people in singapore will take attention of DBSK and become fans! the more fans the better!

Can I share my opinion here?

Well, I'm a freshman studying Film [basically still an amateur] but we had this class where we were taught on how to distinguish and select actors. I quite disagree on Go Eun-ah's opinion stated on DBSK's banjun because choosing an actor is never based on the varying emotions a person will show. You always choose an actor who you think will be closest to the character. It will always be easier to spot potential stars rather than scout potential actors. I think in Yoochun's case, he would totally suit the third party roles. You know, the kind Kim Jung Hoon had in Goong and Lee Dong Gun in Paris Lovers? He is very charming onscreen but something about him simply doesn't give off the "leading man" vibe Won Bin or even Rain show. He surely is dandy to the eyes radiating with a boyish charm, but his presence is not enough to make him lead a drama or a movie. But surely, in every tv/film work he is about to do, he is surely eye candy.

Yun Ho would be a good option as an actor because his stature sorta shows he could pull off both poor boy and rich heartthrob roles, but there is something in him. I mean, he has that very charismatic face and the unique voice. His expressions are honestly amusing. Yet, he lacks that air of mystery many actors have but I think he could pull off being in a drama or movie. But I get this feeling that whenever I watch him is that I never is the character he is playing (ie, the Masked Rider banjun) butthe popstar Yunho is in there. A change in persona is always crucial in being an actor.

Xiah [my hubby], no matter how I love him totally does not have the "spark" an actor ensues. I hate to say this, but even though he is terribly good-looking, adorable, God-fearing, funny [adds 10000 more compliments], he just doesn't have that vibe for you to want him as an actor. This doesn't say that he is not talented or whatnot, but it just seems to me that the stage loves him more than the camera does. Sure, he could go get a project in tv or in film but he won't really stand out. He totally won't stand out. But I somehow have the impression he would do good in a theatrical musicale or something. Just not a movie or tv drama.

Jae Joong has the good lucks, great height and soulful eyes. But something is missing - depth. I can see him play comedic but substantial roles ala Kim Rae-won but I don't think he'll lock himself up as an actor either. I'm not saying this because he is a funny guy. The depth I mean is "the look" an actor usually gives off and this goes whether that actor is hot (ie, Won Bin, Song Seung-heun) or average looking (ie Lee Byung-Hyun, Jang Hyuk). They have that something that totally gives away. But I'm sticking to my opinion that Jae Joong would make a good sidekick lol.

Now, this was a synanymous decision between me and my mates from school, but we all sorta agree that Changmin is Dong Bang Shin Ki's future leading man. He is only 18 but could you actually see "the look" he gives? One of my friends (who first started this and she's not even Asian. She just saw my DBSK vids in my pc) actually said she had goosebumps. And for Film Students to say that is a totally big thing. Sure, people will say he didn't do as well as Yunho or Yoochun in his banjun but did you see how minimal his part was and how he pulled it off? I personally think the screen presence he shows is 5x greater than his stage presence when he is singing. I don't know if it is me or what, but there are times when I feel, despite of his wide vocal range, that he isn't as inclined to the stage as the others. But boy, the camera really loves him. I have seen him in different camera angles and various lightings and the presence and aura he gives off is wow. He is young but it is never a flaw. the only flaw he might have is his lack of experience and exposure but time will surely come whereinhe would be able to compensate for that.

Sorry for the unwanted blabber. Just my two cents.

JaeJoong, Xiah, Yunho, and Micky are all Christians. (The old thread had a poster named Justine who posted pictures of all four boys baptismal services)... Changmin is Buddhist... which is why although his quotes are still all Biblical, they have more of a 'proverbial' ring to them than do ones as obviously Christian as the outher four's. And obviously, the last one (Group) is just some encouraging words... It's not a Bible quote.

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the unholy, not standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful." Psalm 1, verse 1 King James Version.
~ Anyways, this line basically mean that a man is blessed if he does not walk (or take presence) with unholy people (sinners or people who are not righteous), but he also does not try to hinder sinners (that is, actively condemn them), or he just casually sits on the side and acts jaded and cynical and scornful of those around him ("ach. I'm so much better then they are..." etc). If you click the link that I provided to Psalm 1:1, you can read the entire Psalm... and the context helps clear up a lot of things.

*spoiler tagged cause the post is kinda long. But I'll respond because... I like the points that you've brought up. Plus, the fact that you mentioned Xiah was God-fearing TOTALLY got you tagged in my book...! Okay.

I agree with you on all your points. Except for Changmin in the context that he has that "look," but that could be that I'm unexperienced and unaccustomed to recognizing acting skill and whatnot. But that could be because I, personally, like Changmin the least (Xiah, JaeJoong, and Yunho are my favorites... *sigh* such a fangirl)... I can see them all doing silly little dramas like the Banjun films... but I couldn't see them pulling off the roles in a major drama. EXCEPT for maybe Changmin. Changmin's acting skill when he did "Unforgettable [first] Love" blew me away completely! I sat there watching Changmin's part and was just completely "why is he so good? Omgosh he's so good!!!" over and over. So, it isn't any type of stage presence of charisma that I feel Changmin gives, but just pure raw skill that I thought was incredibly impressive. But yes, I do agree, he tends to be a bit overshadowed on the stage. He is the youngest, and in Korean (and most collectivist cultures)... the youngest will generally tend to defer to the oldest, even though he might be the strongest singer (I don't think he is, but his skill is certainly impressive).

I think, in general... the "images" that DBSK released with have stuck with them, and it would be hard for their fans and the audience to think of them as anything but those images. Changmin is the one I can actually see changing his 'image' because he's young and his image has ALWAYS been rather fluid and less concrete than the others. The other four are very very immersed and connected to their "images." Which is a bit disappointing, but I also think that everyone is quite happy with DBSK releasing their 'banjun-style' dramas where they are cute and funny and amusing and charming rather than seeing them take on more meatier roles (with the exception of Changmin)...

I know it's not fair to make such comment (and might even incur the wrath of their fans) but their acting sort of make me cringed. They are actually hilarious in funny skits but it's hard to dissociate their present selves from the characters they portrayed on dramas. Perhaps not using their own names in dramas might help ... I don't know.

Micky's another male friend who wore glasses: I liked another girl when I was in Primay School and Micky had alway teased the girl by saying that she is from Arfica and would lead to the girl being very embarrased. I thus wanted to have some 'revenge'. One day, Micky had grew something on his thenar and he wanted me to pull out that thing. Hence, I took out the nail-clipper and thought my chance I had come. I then began clipping Micky's thenar using the nail clipper
Hyori: Aren't you afraid of the Cassiopeia who are watching this show when you are talking it at the same time?
MC Yoo: Nevermind la.. It was all in the past
Micky's Male friend: I was so happy after taking my revenge and I even wrote it down in my diary. But now that I have come to think about it, I actually felt quite guilty towards Micky
Micky: I remember that incident but I really don't understand why he did that to me T_T

Both O Ji Ho and Micky came out from the room where they began to find their friends.
The first friend whom Micky had found was the female who had kept a dog before.
The female friend said:'In actual fact, there was no fanclub made for Micky but it just somehow occured when there were 3 of us who like Micky. At that time, we felt very lucky that Micky was able to call out our names.

Hyori read the article about the male's feeling after having revenge: I like XXX but Yoo Chun always teased the girl by saying that she was a 'African'. I then wanted to have some revenge. I shall take my time to think of how to make fun of him during tomorrow school time.' Another entry:'Today,something went into the therna of Yoo Chun and he wanted me to take that out for him. I tried to help him by taking it out recklessly which makes Yoo Chun to be in deep pain. I then used the nail-clipper to clip on Yoo Chun's toe. Ahh, he cried out loudly.. Hehe, I wanted to try this again next time!'
MC Yoo: Since Yoo Chun is now here and you wanted to apologise to him, then you might want to do it right now
Micky's male friend: Both of us were very young at that time. I ddi it not because I hated Yoo Chun. Instead, It was because of jealously. I hope you don't mind

I never would've thought that YooChun would be in a gang.. but then again.. I can see it now.. I mean the way he talks and sits and acts.. haha.. you could somewhat tell.. hahah.. but still amazed that he was in a gang.. haha...

Hahah.. same here.. hahah.. but the thing is in my actualy gang there are mostly guys and ONLY 6 girls.. haha.. 3 of them are tomboys.. including me.. haha.. and the other three are real dress up girls.. but we all have well.. I was going to say one thing but we have mroe then one thing in common...haha.. but out big thing that we all have in common is that we all love DBSK.. hahah.. xcept that I'm the only one that loves JaeJoong.. hahah..

2 of them likes YunHo, and 3 of them like YooChun.. hahah.. so I have basically NO ONE to talk to about JaeJoong.. haha.. can only talk about YooChun and YunHo.. haha. since the majority is yooChun and YunHo.. hahha.. the majoriy of the guys in my gang think that JaeJoong is a real femine guy and the all think that YooChun and YunHo are the most manly guys and have great voices.. ahahah.. thats why i go crazy when I'm on here.. cuz.. i can talk about JaeJoong all day long.. hahaa

but yea.. I thought that ChangMin would be the more playful type too.. but then he always gives me the impression of the more quiet type.. haha.. also... I don't know about you... but for me.. its seems to me that ChangMin is looking more and more like DADDY YunHo... haha.. don't you think? I think so.. hahah..

Junsu.. haha..the dolphin voice.. haha. love that voice.. can never get enough of it.. haha.. for me.. whenever theres a clip with DBSK init and they are singing and JaeJoong hits the high notes.. I go and watch it over and over again.. haha.. till I'm tired.. but then the next day I go do the same thing.. haha.. I'm pretty obsessed..

YunHo.. is reali manly.. haha.. I got to admit that.. hahaha.. but to me he seems more like a normal guy and I don't know.. I don't feel n e 'mystery' in him either..hahah.. but when ever he dances I'll be like.. OmG.. there he goes again.. haha.. hes so good in dancing.. hahah..
