Nanshi, I think that you were asking before about TNC Peace and if it had subs, well it does now! You can go get it from tvfxqers clubbox. I downloaded it already, but I haven't watched it yet, so idon't know exactly what quality it is. It's around 225 mb, go it's been decreased from it's original 600 mb. I wish they would just release the softsubs, so I could hardsub my own HQ video and not have to watch the LQ version. I'm thankful and all, but it would just make it so much easier not having to download TWO different files.

And I also think that JaeHo has distanced their time together onscreen because I think they mentioned it one time about how they don't like being coined a "Couple." It made them uncomfortable, so now they're giving fans a lesser opportunity to call them JaeHo/Yunjae, although YunJae is the more innappropriate name. *Shakes fist at crazy fans who ask for too much* I've also heard about YooSu getting uncomfartable with that term, too, and if they were ever to seperate I seriously wouldn't know what to do. I could never imagine these guys that way (I'm not against those kinds of relationships though), but the whole brotherly kind of love is so much more satisfying to me...

Awww... thank you. But I'm okay. I understand a little Japanese so if I slow it down (ie: pausing it every sentence or so) I can generally pick up on what they're saying... besides Clubbox is just too inconvenient for me to download from (I don't like using IE and I just recently reformatted my computer, so I don't even know if I still have Clubbox installed; the only thing I have going for me is that I can read Hangeul now -- I learned -- even if I can't understand a word of it).

And I don't think all the !fangirls! who are actually JaeHo/YooSu supporters would ACTUALLY enjoy it if they "came out of the closet" (so to speak) and really revealed their status as a couple. Sheesh. It's almost like it's taboo for guys to be close brotherly friends nowadays. I don't think much of it -- my guy friends serenade each other on a frequent basis and it's always great fun -- but I can see why they would be uncomfortable with it. *aww whimpers* Why can't the girls just leave them alone?! They're just good friends; is that so bad? Plus, being celebrities, everything's just exaggerated and magnified and micro-enhanced a bajillion times. I mean, it's cute... but I mean... the photoshopped pictures that float around online? and the videos? and the fanfictions (I don't know THAT much Hangeul...)... omgosh. Poor boys, really. I mean, think about it. They're running around busy schedules all day, chances are, they are almost exclusively around each other ALL THE TIME (especially since they've been focusing on Japan so much for the past few months)... they have to develop close friendships.... I'm just glad to see that they all get along.

And my examination in Changmin's "rebellious" phase? The same reactions that families have when their children go through their rebellious phase(s). They always complain, "Oh, he/she never wants to spend time with us anymore... It's like he/she is embarassed to be out with us." hehe. Changmin feels the same way about DBSK. Would rather hang out with his 'cooler' University friends. Not that I blame him; DORK Bang Shin Ki all the way....! <33333

I agree........ i really like Jaemin cuz they are like cute lil brothers that play and fight all the time.. they are really amuzing to watch and i know i can get a laugh whenever i see them togther....

changmin does seem to be in a rebellious stage... i don't blame him... he's missed out on a lot of normal things these past few years.... but, Changmin is still young and has a lifetime to experience things....so he should enjoy all the fame now cuz it could all be gone in an instant.

I also can understand that he must be bored hanging around the boys all day.... If he could hang out with his college friends more often than he could actually date girls..... and isn't that what he wanted.... (at least a first kiss)? Simpleton: Just to answer your question, Choosey Lover is a fast song. It's not in the same genre as Rising Sun and O-Thesis, its more to a 70s feel like.. I don't know, I can't recall any of their songs sounding like this. But yeah, its a track from their upcoming 2nd Japanese Album called Spirit of Self Advancement. Called something like that.

Anyway, the MV preview is really good. Shows them grooving in the centre of the dance floor not to mention cheesy yet cool (because they're doing it!) dance moves like sliding across the floor and clapping their hands (ChangMIN!!).. I mean, so far..

Anyway, yeah.

Yes, they're most probably coming to Malaysia next year since they say that the tour is going on to next year and Malaysia is their last stop. Anyway, it's better this way. At least we can save money and focus on our upcoming important exams!!

TVXQ Joins Tokyo Disney Concert




The five-man band TVXQ has given a performance at the Tokyo Disney Sea in Japan, along with popular Japanese band TRF.

Japan’s Sankkei Sports Daily said Tuesday that the two top bands from Korea and Japan participated in a live concert held at the Disney on Monday.

According to the paper, the concert was organized to celebrate the release of the album “Club Disney 2007,” in which the two groups sang a song. In the concert, they performed “All of Your Life” with famous Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck

TRF’s DJ KOO said, “At night, the Disney Sea was like a big disco club. I was very happy to see everyone there enjoying themselves.”

The event continued through Tuesday.

Ugghh...Some fangirls really frustrate me. If JaeHo/YooSu is not a couple in that, stop wishing for it! I see at soompi all the time how some girls wish that JaeHo was a real couple because they're "Sooooooo hot!" Okay, they're hot, but these girls are just making it more uncomfortable for them. And I think that we fangirls all have this little wishful thinking, "Maybe I'll be the one for him..." Well it's pretty farfetched, but wouldn't girls rather dream about the chances rather than losing all hope if they're a real couple? I would just go berserk if the uncomfartability level got so high that the guys decided to just do their own stuff instead of being together to avoid awkwardness. If regular everyday guys can be perverted towards each other (i.e grabbing their butts, wrestling) why can't the DB boys do that, too? They are just like other guys; they just wanna have some good ol' fun. Why must some people make it more than it actually is?

i've heard of so many names for this group, like DBSG, DBSK, and TVXQ. can someone please tell me which one's the right name?????

I have just finished watching the "Choosy Lover" preview and I must say they are amazingly hot! I like the scene where they slided on the floor and thats so cool! Changmin's clapping hands is like quite funny but he is so cute with the close up of him. TVXQ simply rocks!!!

I think more people in the US still have more knowledge of Rain because he went on tv, performed in New York, Las Vegas, etc, so people have at least heard of him in the big cities. Hpfan, I know exactly how you're feeling. The first time I found out about them, I was cofused about how many names they had, too. I think for international fans like us, we're SUPPOSED to call them TVXQ, but we call them DBSK anyway like the koreans do. Tohoshinki is for Japan and TVfXQ is for China. I also think they do this because maybe their names in other countries are easier for them to say??? And maybe they want to have different images from DBSK in other countries. Do you get what I'm trying to say?

HPfan7: What Kayem means is that TVXQ is what they are globally known as. TVfXQ is what they call them in China and Taiwan (because they pronounce it as Tong Vfang Xien Qi, since they can't pronounce the exact words). DBSK and DBSG (Dong Bang Shin Ki/Dong Bang Shin Gi) is what their Korean fans all them. Don't worry, putting K instead of G or the other way around doesn't make it wrong. It's just that Koreans pronounce the letters similarly. As for Japan, they call them THSK, or To Ho Shin Ki.

Basically, they just change the name because people from those countries can't really pronounce their real name, Dong Bang Shin Gi. Its something to do with their language. Like Koreans for example, they don't have the letters 'v' 'x' 'f' 'z' and 'q' so they replace whatever letter that is with something they do have like 'b' or 's'.

Anyway, hope that cleared it up a little.

suet yee: the boys are gonna be stopping at japan from may to june. and i heard from saimon san (the 988 DJ), he said that there is a possibility that they will reach malaysia next year since their concert ends next year. of course, nothing is certain yet. for goodness sake, their seoul concert hasn't even started yet.

The news is from my Thai friend & she said that DBSK & K-pop have been conquering Thailand . DBSK received 4 awards in total (1 seed , 2 channel V & 1 in another show but I forgot its name *_*) in Thailand

it sure does seem that the boys are gaining popularity in Asia. it's nice to hear that they are receiving the Popular Asian Artist of the Year award in Thailand.

like in Malaysia, there's this radio station, FM988, that has a kpop, jpop chart every sunday afternoon where the listeners are requesting for Dong Bang Shin Ki's songs. psst...i am one of them. this just goes on to show that Malaysians are starting to notice them more each day. hopefully when they come over here for their Asia concert tour, their popularity will soar higher.

To clear up the confusion, because there are a few other misleading posts above as well (about the weird translations and such)...

Their name means "Rising Gods [of the] East [Asia] (More direct is actually: East [Asia] Rising God(s) )." Tong Vfang Xen Qi; Tohoshinki; Dong Bang Shi G/Ki are all various translations on that phrase in their according languages (Mandarin Chinese; Japanese; and Korean, respectively). Since Mandarin is more widely spoken, that is why their international name is referred to as TVXQ; sometimes see as TVfXQ. Micky and JaeJoong both have that tattoed on their backs. It is mildly confusing, I think... but I suppose it makes it much more convenient for those respective countries to know them as such. Similarly to how most artists just choose an English name (SE7EN, Rain, 183club, etc) in order to maintain international recognition or just to use an 'international language' that everyone can recognize. I think it's weird, so I loyally call them Dong Bang Shin Ki because that's probably what they're most 'used' to being called. But when my Korean comes out weird, I'll switch into the Chinese. But that's when I talk about them. Usually, when I TYPE (post) about them, it'll depend on what I feel like. If I've seen them on a Chinese program: it'll be TVXQ -- but I also use TVXQ whenever I feel like it, but I find it weird to type -- if I've watched a Japanese program, I will politely use THSK. And of course, when doing the Korean thing... DBSK (I think DBSK looks nicer and it easier to type than DBSG).

I wonder what they would REALLY use as their international name (like actual WORDS instead of just an acronym)... if they were to employ an English name. East Asian Rising Gods? *shudders* it sounds all right in Asian languages, but it sounds almost blasphemous in English... But I think they just usually use the acronym TVXQ when English is necessary.

*I don't think it's that confusing though... But most of the references that you are all wondering about can be found in the first post; so please check that before you go posting here! I know for a FACT that the answer could have been found in the first [reference] post.

As for DBSK coming to "West"... I just don't think it is financially lucrative for them to do so. I know they have fans in North America... but SM is really really tight about their money and I don't think they'd spend it especially when they aren't really considering entering the American market anytime soon. There was that rumor with BoA awhile back, but it's been squashed now. All of the other Asian artists that have come to America to perform have remained exclusive to small areas (Las Vegas or NYC) and when the YG Family did their concert sometime last autumn, even they only toured three cities (NYC, Washington DC, and either Las Vegas or LA). But that's because YG (esp: se7en) is looking to expand to the American market. I don't think SM has any plans to do so... SM's too much in the Ent. business for the money to really stretch themselves thin in expanding. Even Gackt (but he's Japanese) came to North America and held a concert exclusively only for his fanclub. And with just the basic production and startup costs of a concert (crew, performers, producers, renting out stadiums, traffic, etc) ... that is the ONLY way I could see DBSK potentially coming to America/Canada is if they were to do a 'small thing' for members that were ONLY part of their official fanclub because otherwise it'd be really hard to gauge the fanbase and whether or not a profit (or at least a safety margin) would be made in the concert.
