Who the heck are these "fans?" Claiming to be fans, but yet they bash and diss the other members?! Psshhhh...If all they care about is JaeJoong, they shouldn't even call themselves DBSK fans. They just really...irritate me. JaeJoongie is part of DBSK, when you diss DBSK, you basically diss JaeJoong along with them, too!

omg!!!!!! they look sooo freakin hot in those promo pics.. i am seriously drooling. I love their hair and their clothes! They look really hot!! ahhh. DBSK is comprised of 5 members and you gotta love them all equally... Seriously, how can you not love everyone of them?... they are super talented, very good looking and have genuine and cute personailties. I really admire and appreciate each member. I think people need to watch more of their vids cuz after that, you can't help but love them all! I think that's why the group is so popular because every member is cute and talented. I really worry about that . Are u a member of tvfxqforever forum ??? I read an article yest. and it said that DBSK is the best international group ( voted by Chineses in the website of Sina Ent.) but the fact is that the ranks of the individual members are higher than the rank of the whole group . Many fans just voted for their favourite member . Though I like JJ the most among the members but I will choose the whole DBSK if I can vote . I don't know the result is the bad or good thing for me because JJ has the highest rank in there , but I feel sad because now I know many fans like DBSK for 1 or 2 members that they like .

its been a while since iv been here, due to connection problems so im really sorry

lalala. Personal anecdote moment.

So, today, I was chatting to the girl who sits behind me in Japanese class about why she was taking Korean (and Japanese and Chinese all at the same time)... a little bit of time passes by and towards the end of class, we're all just working on an assignment... and I start talking to her about learning Korean again. So, naturally, I turn on my 'fangirlyness' and start chittering about Dong Bang Shin Ki. HAHA. That was the funniest moment EVER. James, the guy who sits next to the girl behind me (therefore, he's like diagonally behind me), starts laughing like crazy and puts his head down on his desk. He professes that his sister is like the WORLD'S BIGGEST DBSK FAN !EVER! and that he gets enough of it at home. And of course, I keep on going on about how hot they are and who my favorites are and they're why I want to learn Korean. SOOOO HILARIOUS. We ended up talking about DBSK for the rest of class (and numerous other Korean idols: like Hyori and SuJu) and I found out that this girl Rosaria (she's white) has a sister who is a HUUUGE fan of DBSK. I found THAT really amusing. I didn't say anything... but.

I !fangirled! so bad today during class. Of course, at the end, I say to James, "Hey! I'm not THAT bad. At least I don't have STICKERS." Which inspires another round of laughing (no offense to those who do have stickers! <3 you and good for you for showing the world that you 'less than three' DBSK).

SO: DBSK does cross borders and inspire us to learn their language. Which is kinda pathetic if you think about it (I want to learn a language because my favorite celebrity speaks it).... but hey! I took French because "everyone else was taking Spanish and I wanted to be special." So I guess it's all just a matter of perspective.

And personally, I love the new look. Haha. It's amusing. I showed it to a few of my friends (it's posted on my xanga)... and one of my friends was like (he doesn't know who DBSK is), "I don't understand why such a nice person like you would like such bad a** guys like that. The one of the left looks like he's gonna kill me! [AHHH <3 Yunho!] It intrigues yet baffles me." I want to call him up and be like, "No, they're really all just a huge bunch of dorks. Smexy dorks. But dorks still."

Micky's hair is probably my favorite hairstyle of his' right now. It's really mature and very befitting. I think they all look better with short hair... except for maybe Yunho and JaeJoong.

Of course, my big question was: Do they still look girly? I get a lot of flack in my circles for liking DBSK cause they're so 'girly.' Which I will admit, they do have a tendency to be at times. I was carefully examining the picture and.. well, they still do look kinda girly (hard to be that pretty and not) mostly because they look like they're really posed.... or maybe it's just because I'm so used to seeing them all cute and natural that in such unnatural (for them) expressions and poses like this... it seems a bit out of character for me and I can definitely tell they're posting. Not to say they don't pull it off SO WELL.

Micky's tattoo rocks my socks off... I'm not a supporter of tattoos, but I do find them rather awesome at times. I know it's not real (and I'm glad it's not!).. but it just looks SO COOL! Notice how they're not in their 'usual' positions? I think this placement is actually quite nice. Changmin's the tallest, so he's furthest back. Yunho (the leader) gets a little bit more frontal action; we get to see all of Micky... and Xiah is in profile (generally his best pose).

AND <3 THEIR HAIR!!!! OMGOSH AWESOME HAIR!

Who do you think pulls of the "fierce badboy" in that picture the best? I actually think it's Yunho. I think the outfit and his expression just really 'match.' JaeJoong and Xiah both have really fierce expressions as well... but their outfits and poses don't really match. Whereas Yunho's got his fist up like "We're gonna settle this. Right now." And sooo swoon-worthy. Xiah is like, "Yeah? Bring it." And JaeJoong's all "RAWR." Micky has that really cool, "I'm too good for this but haha this beatdown is amusing so I'll stay and watch and humiliate" expression. And Changmin looks pensive.

But you're totally right, I am trying to pick up Korean simply for DBSK, and I'm proud to admit that lol. At first I was like, "No, it's just for my own good and for understanding kdramas..." But now it's like, "Screw kdramas, I'm learning this for the boys!"
I'm not so surprised when I hear white girls having a thing for DBSK, I mean, they are pretty damn pretty! I'm usually more surprised when I hear that black girls like them. It just surprises me, it really does. You just don't normally see a black girl having a thing for Asian boys....No offense to anyone here, though. I love diversity and I hope that people of all races will learn to love DBSK.

Sure, there might be sites dedicated to each member, favoritism is inevitable, but the difference between Heroshock and other dedicated fansites is that other sites didn't have members openly and blatantly bash the other guys.

And ciarain, I understand what you're trying to say 100%. It seems like people are starting to just go off in their own little worlds now with each member. Anyway, yeah, we ALL know that JaeJoong is the most poular internationally, but that doesn't mean he should get any special treatment IMO. To choose one over the whole group is pretty ludicrous, considering it was the group that made the person, and not the other way around.

I adore and have a HUUUUUUUGE love for Junsu, but I would never choose him over DBSK as a whole. I got into DBSK FIRST and I fell in love with their songs first, so I'm going to stay loyal to them. DBSK introduced me to Junsu, so I wouldn't feel right just liking him and not the whole group. Unless, you're like one of those fans who came to love Junsu because of his solo work in Timeless or whatnot, it's not cool giving just one member all the praise and credit when all members work easily as hard as the other.

plus, they are not as cute or hot as they are in their Hug days or whatsoever. hopefully you get what i am trying to say since it's kinda hard to put those into words. in fact, they don't look that outstanding in their Stay with Me Tonight MV. they look ordinary at that time, in my point of view.

heck, i didn't even thought junsu was cute during the time when i first noticed them. i got converted into a junsu fan only at a later period of time. it's only slowly that i got attracted to his unique voice and cute-turn-hot looks. so big clap for the boys' talents and abilities.

Some people are also using it as their sigs here (01SOULL's set is really nice). I guess I might as well give my thoughts on the pic too. I agree with everyone else so far, Yunho really does look like he's about to give someone a beating haha I think it's the look on his face combined with the positioning of his hands. Xiah has a sort of "What are you lookin' at?" look on his face I think. Don't kill me but I actually don't think JaeJong looks all that fierce - but I don't know what exact word I would used to describe his expression. I agree with nanshi about Changmin looking pensive. Micky looks like he's checking out some girl in the corner or something. I'm really digging Micky's full-arm tattoo. Yunho, Xiah, and JaeJong are all looking forward while Changmin and Micky are looking off to the sides. I think I'd like it even more if they were all looking forward but anyway, it's still a great picture! On a side note, I wonder how long it took them to get their hair styled for that...

YingLing, I'm glad you see the clearer picture now. It wasn't just the usual kind of things that we do, like how we point out some members' flaws or so, but it was flat-out bashing. It's as if the other members were viruses or something and they were taking Joongie's life or something lol.

Anyway, Junsu is soooo cute! He's so proud of himself when he spells those words correctly with his fobby English, but I truly do adore his cuteness. And I love how the boys are still teasing him about everything.

I typically don't fangirl. And it wasn't as horrific as people think it is right now... it was REALLY amusing. I have a friend who knows DBSK, but she gets kinda iffy if I fangirl in front of her. She'd like hit me or something. She doesn't like it when I fangirl. My other friend, I only see a couple times a week, but we DEFINITELY fangirl when we see each other and talk about DBSK and SuJu. We had fun fangirling though... but it'd be kinda embarassing (cause we're not like super-close friends)... but it's nice to know that I'm not the only DBSK fan in... like America. haha. I fangirled TO them...not WITH them... so... I don't really think it counts. At least they didn't get really upset and were just like, "Awww... you're so cute."

Fangirling is fun. I do wish I had more people to fangirl to... but, then I go on AF and fangirl here.

*Oh, and definitely yeah. Once I get the time: DBSK's badboy pic is SO being made into a set. I already know the perfect quote...

Nope. I think DBSK came to America once (LA) to shoot for their first photobook, but they haven't actually done any performances (I think) in America. I don't think SM thinks that it's lucrative for ANY of their members -- I don't think anyone in SM has had a performance in American -- to perform in America.

They should do, like, a poll or something.

"That's like asking people how to say apple in english" and I love his whole "Aish! What do you people take me for???" reaction aaahh they're always teasing him haha That interview made me REALLY jealous of all the girls who get/got to go to the concert! From the rehearsal it looks like they're gonna perform some of their old songs too, which I think is nice, but I hope when they do Triangle they don't have the same hairstyles as they used to haha

xl1lvi3tqtx & nanshi: DBSK performed in Los Angeles, CA in either 2004 or 2005, I don't remember exactly, in the Hollywood Bowl. Every year Los Angeles (which has a large Korean community) has a big Korean festival which sometimes includes a concert. Lots of KPop artists performed - I know Bi (Rain) did, I think Lee Hyori did, and of other SM Entertainment artists I know Boa was there and I think maybe Shinhwa was there. There was a long list of performers so I don't remember exactly. In case you're wondering, no, sadly I did not go to that concert personally haha I think if DBSK ever comes to perform in America again it will probably be in New York City or Los Angeles.

Are you talking about the concert they just had? If yes, then no, it's in Korea. They will be having 3 concerts in Korea from the 23rd-25th of Feb...They'll be having their Japan concert in May-June

I just saw videos on their concert...it is seriously sooo hot!! I can't wait for their concert DVD to be on sale...I'll preorder it once it is available to...

And they went to LA in 2004 to shoot the photobook and Miduhyo MV. I think they performed there, but I don't remember exactly what songs they sang and such.
At the Hollywood Bowl thingy, I know Hyori, BI and Se7en have all performed. We can only hope and pray that SM allows the boys to come back again one of these days so that we can see them in person.
