its totally a killer to read

well im a newbie and im just replying some things i saw in part 1

someone said after 100 pages or so that DBSK has alot of fans .. im not so sure why? because after reading the whole part 1 it feels like im the only person from holland that is a huge fan of them. but if im not i would like to know so im not the weirdest dutchy around

those anti-fans .. what is up with them? DBSK never did anything to them why do they have to be so evil to poison yunho or hurt any of the members in general

i had a question .. that masked man .. how does he do the dances does he learn it the same time as the rest in case they get hurt or does he quick learn it when the member gets hurt?

ill probably reply again or edit this message by the time i really finish the complete part 1 and part 2 .. only 32 pages left on part 1 and 8 to 96 on part 2

When they sing "nande bokura wa" it sounds a little bit like Bon Jovi's "It's my Life." Plus, the hardrock of the song sounds like that song as well.

I found "Dead End" amusing. Especially the lyrics. Well, some of them. "Soba ni zutto BUTTERFLY" near a butterfly forever? That was weird... But then again, I'm not seeing it all in context. Different from what they usually do; I like it. Xiah's voice is nothing but PURE POWER in this song! Somehow, I feel that the Jpop scene favors Xiah's voice more than the Kpop scene. Xiah always feels the most prominent in their Japanese songs and JaeJoong gets the spotlight in their Korean tracks. I think it's cause JaeJoong's voice is very very mellow and very good and strong, BUT Xiah's voice is more unique and Japanese people tend to like to go for the unique rather than just a 'good' voice. At least that's what I've been seeing in Five in Black so far. The chorus of "Dead End" has Xiah featured very very loudly; usually the 'featured' is generally JaeJoong. Heart, Mind, and Soul was a bit different... but Xiah's vocals were quite prominent there as well.

AND some trivia! JaeJoong and Changmin were sick during the recording for this album...! And they still sound so good. SUGOI!

I'll get around to listening to all of Five In Black (from somewhere) and then post up a real album review.

Hello everybody...how are me fellow DBSK fans doing??

I had a terrific dream last night (that had a weird ending) and wanted to share with you all!

So Yunho and I are walking in a department store (just as friends I guess cuz we weren't holding hands or anything) and I had a couple items in my hand.

So Yunho and I were talkin and walkin and I heard Hug (english version) playing from the speakers in the dept store! We were totally surprised and very happy to hear it play and started jumping up and down! then we started singing with the song and walked out the dept store.

Moments later I noticed that the items I picked up were still in my hand and I forgot to pay for them! So I told Yunho to hold on and ran back in the store to pay for them.

The cashier was being all nasty and rude to me and out of nowhere Little Richard came to my defense and yelled at her

Then I woke up.

But ladies I promise you if I ever hear a DBSK song playing in an american dept store I will start dancing and yelling in the middle of the store!!

That dream made my day

I don't think that JaeJoong necessarily gets more airtime in Korean songs because the tow pretty much get the same. When Junsu gets more in one songs, Jae gets more in the other, tit for tat basically. Anyway, back to the case, Junsu really does get a lot more time in some Japanese songs. Did you notice how in "Heart, Mind and Soul," Junsu did not sing anything at the beginning (that really disappointed me), but then he was the voice that the song built up to? Also, let's not forget Asu wa KuruKara, and My Destiny where the song builds up to his part again. Miss You definitely had his voice, during the chorus, it's mostly his voice I hear. I've always thought that it was just my biased ears, but I guess you noticed that he also got a lot air time, too. Go Xiah Junsu!

Spyang, I downloaded the song, but I don't actually know if it's the same one as the MV...Maybe I should just rip the mp3 from the MV...

Hey people,.i’m most active in joongie’s thread and quite a silent reader to this main thread..haha..mian..
N this is just a thought.. and at first I wanted to post it in jaejoong’s thread but then I wanna share with u guys..haha..cuz in jae’s, u cant help but discussing his sexyness all day long..ahaha! So here goes..

The previous posts was kinda interesting for me,,about jaejoong and junsu.
Umm..well, i guess people shouldn’t care too much about their lines in song because in my opinion they’re all good in their own way.

Jaejoong maybe is the lead vocal of the group and we know that he’s absolutely great but the others have great different voice characteristic too.. Back to what u guys are discussing, other than jae, junsu i guess has the most unique voice, that’s why they both are most likely to share a lot of lines, either Korean or Japanese songs.
And after listening to their new Japanese tracks, I think jaejoong has most of his lines in, you know, those slow and pop songs (‘hello again’, ‘yakusoku’, ‘begin’, ‘proud’..n let’s review shall we..on their first album: ‘eternal’, ‘heart mind and soul’, ‘aisenai aishitai’,’my destiny’..lalala..) cause as we know that he’s really brilliant in singing ballads (jae can do all ‘genres’, even rock..but yea,I think pop suits him well) but then ‘step by step’ is an exception, the chorus was all his and the song was upbeat and catchy as well..haha.. after all he’s our lead vocal..
At the other hand junsu’s doing great in singing his most parts on mainly fast tracks (‘high time’, ‘dead end’, ‘sky’, ‘miss you’..also don’t forget ‘somebody to love’, oh and ‘try my love’,,he sang most of the chorus..cool song!) n again ‘asu wa kuru kara’ is an exception..hahaha!

So kayem, don’t be disappointed just becuz junsu didn’t sing anything at certain parts or something becuz like u said before(I agree, dude! ): when jae got most lines in a song song, junsu will have his parts in other song ..heehee..those expert singers!
(Oyea, u guys said that junsu got his spotlight on Japanese songs,. But why do I get the feeling that jae is..haha..it’s just because I hear jae’s voice for the most part of their songs..heehee..refering to their first Japanese album also,,and junsu is more to their Korean songs..haha.. )

But anyways, I dont mind who’s got which part or who sing the most, because they’re all great guys with astounding talents. And if u care too much on their parts and all, hey..how can u enjoy their beautiful songs, right? Changmin who can reach high notes , yoochun and yunho’s husky voices ..,junsu’s powerful melody and jae’s angelic tune .. omg,who wouldn’t want to hear their song!! For me they’re the best singing group I’ve ever known..*sigh*

It's a remix to the Choosey Lover song...! I like it more than the original. THIS is the Choosey Lover song that I was looking for (everyone knows my less-than-positive feelings for the first one).

It's SOO soothing and... ironically, makes me feel really sexy and loved all over. THIS is the song that should be on the album. It's absolutely gorgeous. The soft mellow beat in the background really showcases DBSK's vocals rather than having that upbeat tempo (but the climax/bridge has a bit of that beat again)... and it flows better, methinks. DBSK does so well when they do these really soft R&B beats... I think it also sounds more mature and more... suitable for their voices. But then again, I always like their ballads more. Enjoy!

Karenluvjaejoong, haha, yep, I completely agree with you. The whole JaeSu singing is always a toss-up. In some songs Junsu overrides, in some JaeJoong takes over, it's so different everytime. I think that JaeJoong gets most choruses in songs like Begin and ballad songs because he has a voice that's more built for those. And Junsu really gets the more fast-paced songs like Miss You and Stay With me Tonight. I guess it really depends on who's voice fits the oart more. I can not imagine anyone else singing the climaxes in Heart, Mind and Soul, Asu wa KuruKara, My Destiny or any other songs where it builds to his parts. And I cannot imagine anyone other than Joongie singing the chorus of Begin, Eternal, etc.
We can all basically agree that JaeSu PWNS in Japanese songs <3.

I think Korea really does embrace Junsu's voice, too.
Look at all the solo songs he has right ? The amount of times he's sang on a Korean stage solo is amazing.
JaeJoong just needs more opportunities to sing different genres (I know a lot of people say he has a versatile voice, but Jae+Rap+R&B=No-no.) even though his voice is more accustomed to ballads and rock ballads. He just needs to work more on his performances, too and he should be just fine if he ever goes solo =X.

But who cares, right? As long as they keep singing and making beautiful music for our ears, it's perfect!

Nanshi, you finally found that song lol? Yeah, it's Yamaki's remix and I also think that it's muchbetter than the original. I don't like the synthesizers, the song gets REALLY annoying after a while, but the remix version is so smooth and it's never annoying. You could've just askedd me for the song because I've had it since it came out .
Oh, but yeah, I absolutely do not understand why they put that part in there. It made me jump up because it was so unexpected.

^I didn't mean to start an argument. I think people always misunderstand my observations as my opinions. Just something I noticed. I think every single one of the DBSK boys are extremely talented and have fantastic voices... their voices are all just different (unlike a choir where every male practically sounds the same).. .and that's what makes them such a strong group. With that said, obviously they are going to have their strengths and weaknesses as singers, but as a group, they balance each other out perfectly.

Obviously though, I think JaeJoong and Xiah always get leads in the songs -- heck JaeJoong is called the head singer -- because they are the strongest? But it's all about personal preference. I think Changmin's an incredibly talented and strong singer as well. And Micky... well, Micky has a lot of POWER in his voice when he starts to climb notes (something you rarely hear him do very often, but... whew, when he does... I think his voice is the richest). Yunho's voice is thick and mellow and really rich and full; a perfect bass, in my opinion. My REAL opinion is that all of them are great and sometimes I'll want to hear JaeJoong's voice over Xiah's and sometimes vice versa. BUT for Xiah's credit: I didn't starting listening to DBSK until I heard "Timeless" with Jang Ri In, and then I was like "hnn... if this Xiah guy from TVXQ is this good... well, just for HIM, this TVXQ may be worth listening to."

It is presently my favorite DBSK track -- ever, I think -- to date. But absolutely has to be the remix ... but OH SO GOOD!

And seriously, Kay, love, I'm not going to be like "hey... uhh... has anyone heard any good DBSK remixes? If you have... send them my way?" BUT I WILL HATE ON YOU FOR A MOMENT: HOW COME YOU NEVER MENTIONED IT BEFORE? I could've had this song like... ages ago! And been addicted to it since then...! TVXQ’s 10th single released in Japan, “Choosey Lover,” was released on the 7th and shot straight to number 4 on the Oricon singles chart.

The tenth single album from the boy band TVXQ released in Japan and entitled “Choosey Lover” took the fourth spot on the Oricon single chart on the day of its release on March 7.

The album is TVXQ’s tenth straight album to enter the top-10 Oricon chart since the band released its first single, entitled “Somebody to Love,” in July 2005.

The title song “Choosey Lover” is a dance song featuring a funky rhythm and exquisite sound. Its lyrics convey the feelings of love. The song’s title is the Japanese version of the phrase “picky lover.” The song is featured as the opening song of the Japanese TV show “Xenos,” which airs in Japan every Friday night.

The album will go on sale in Korea March 14.

DBSK part 2 (the thread you're all currently reading) has been in business for about four months. Back when the thread first started and was !EXPLODING! the mod crew took a careful examination of our 1000+ posts rule and decided to revise it.

The NEW RULE is that a thread must reach 2000+ posts AND been active and open for at least two months. Well, this thread is pretty much over 2000 posts and has definitely been open for two months. So anyone who has checked out the old thred -- or was there when it closed -- knows the drill.

We need a new DBSK topicstart (aka: first post). It should be similar to the first post in this one (I actually spent a lot of time making the first post here with the pictures and the thumbnails and such). But, of course, I won't be making it unless it is completely necessary! It's an honor to create the topicstart and should involve the input of all the members who wish to help out. Mod crews generally suggests that people post up things that they'd like to see -- or feel should go -- in the new topicstart and sometimes topic members also nominate a person to create the new topicstart (but don't feel pressured to nominate a person). Once it's all ready to go... you can PM me (or any other mod of your choice) the topicstart, I'll review it... and if it's a go: you can put it up! Or I'll just put up a new topicstart...

Okaaayyy... Please check out my other post about the ANNOUNCEMENT. It's quite important.

AND... here's a present. Most of you have heard the Yamaki remix of Choosey Lover. And if you're like me (and Kay), there's that one bridge in the middle that feels really out of place and a bit... annoying. So I decided to fiddle around with my Adobe Audition and edit it out! I found it really out of place and I didn't like it at all... so just cut it out. The song actually manages to flow quite nicely around it. Since I have no mixing skills to speak of... the fact that the song manages to carry on quite beautifully without that bridge speaks marvels.

I don't know if it's been posted here already but i think it could be a new show that Kang Ho Dong hosts (use to host Love Letter and co-host of Xman) it's called Star King. and you just have to watch it. the whole thing is 40 year old men are called 40 year old DBSK. haha watch it. i thought it was incredible.
